The Three Fold Land

The Three Fold Land, also called the Aiel Waste, is where the Aiel lived since the Breaking. They lived there to repay their toh to the Aes Sedai that they had failed long ago. After Rand came and was proclaimed their Cheif of Cheifs, the Car'a'carn, he led them out of the Waste. They now follow Rand and support him. The Aiel have many different customs than the "wetlanders". They had been isolated from the rest of Randland for so long, that their culture developed completely different. They never touch swords, and are known as the best warriors anywhere.
