Ebou Dar

Ebou Dar is the capital city of Altara. It has the reputation for being one of the roughest cities in Randland. Fights are common, and a woman can kill a man for no reason and be legal. Queen Tenobia rules currently, but she has almost no authority over anything in Altara. The Bowl of the Winds was found there recently and used to set the weather right again. While some of the Aes Sedai were there, they discoved the Kin, which they had known about before, but found that they had numbers larger than all of the Aes Sedai combined. After they left, the city was conquered by the Seanchan and is currently in their control.
