Someone's learning JavaScript and that someone is me. If you're using Netscape Navigator 3.0 and above or Netscape Communicator 4.0 or above, then you should see a nice JavaScript in the sidebar menus. If you're using a browser other than the ones I indicated above, you shouldn't get any errors and it should just look like the page used to look like. If you are receiving an error. Let me know so I can fix the code. The tag I'm using to change the graphic color is not available on browsers other than the ones mentioned above, so the page should look no different. On my to do list is to learn the code that will make the graphics change for Internet Explorer. Until then, use Netscape! :)
Well, I had the JavaScript tested through IE 3.x (and I fixed it too). I refuse to install IE 4.x on my system, because it destroyed my system the last time I tried it. What can I say? It's Microsoft, it crashes. Pretty simple actually. You just have to expect these things. Anyways, if someone is running IE 4.x on there system and finds any JScript errors, let me know. I can't fix it if I don't know about it. Please note that you won't see anything special with IE, since Bill didn't feel it was necessary to include an image class in JScript.
Platforms tested and currently working:
- Netscape Navigator 3.x
- Netscape Communicator 4.x
- Internet Explorer 2.x (Not Javascript Capable)
- Internet Explorer 3.x (Ignores Javascript Code)
I've added the prize to the Contest as well as some Rules that will hopefully cover my butt. (Basically I don't take responsibility if anything goes wrong, but there are a couple of important points in there that should be read over). I also put a picture of the prize on the Contest page so you can see what it looks like. The prize will be a Magic Knights RayEarth mini-poster from VOE. It will be ordered when the winner is contacted (if there is a winner -- See RULES for details).THE CONTEST ENDS MARCH 31, 1998Did that get your attention?

I went through the links in the Armory too and took one out and fixed a broken one. One of these days I'll remember that most sites are case sensitive. DOH!
-
Well it looks like whatever problems geocities was having with my mail is fixed. My geocities email should work now. I hope.
-
I went through The Hoarde and fixed a broken link. Good thing I check these things no?
-
Sniff! Noone's entered my contest! You will get a prize if you win. Click here to enter!

I'm having problems with the forward on the geocities email. If you sent in any contest entries, you will have to resubmit them. I'm going to set the form so that it goes back to my personal mail account. Unfortunately, the Email buttons will probably not work on any of my pages until this problem is resolved (I've contacted technical support on this matter). For now, if you want to contact me use This address to contact me directly. I'm terribly sorry for the inconvience.

I recently had my email changed and decided that instead of having to change the email address on all my pages everytime that happens (which hopefully won't be often), I'll just open up an account with geocities and have it forward to whatever my account is. I can now be reached at eshenton@geocities.com through any of the email buttons on my pages.

I'm sort of stuck here. I've been racking my brain trying to come up with an appropriate name for the section of my Lair that will be dedicated to Japanese Anime. I'm stumped, so I'm offering a small prize to the person who can come up with the best name. Click here to help me out! Note that the form was quickly done, and probably not terribly beautiful, but it does the job. I'll hopefully have the anime rooms at least started by the end of the week, if I can find the time.

I added the link to the Geocities homepage to each of my pages that don't have the left graphic menu bar. This will even further comply with Geocities guidelines.
-
I added a Valentine's Day Poem call Dragon Love to the library.

I added the link to the Geocities homepage to each of my left graphic menus. This was to further comply with Geocities written guidelines.

I finished adding the graphic side menu. Looks spiffy, no? It should be non-graphics friendly with the appropriate Alt tags. Let me know if it's screwed up for your screen, I tested to 640X480 resolution so it should be cool with all monitor types. Of course, let me know what you think!
-
I added a new dragon graphic to the Add Guest Book Entry page. Cute isn't he?

My homepage is now non-frames! Yes, that's right! Your access times should speed up immensely. Enjoy! (And let me know what you think!) You know what? You can do that by clicking right here!
-
Added some new links to the Armory. I even checked the older links to make sure they're still valid and fixed any that weren't!
-
I did pretty much the same thing I did to the Armory to the Hoard.
-
I removed a defunct (I like that word .. defunct defunct defunct ;)) MUSH from the Game Room and fixed some changed links.
-
I updated and fixed the link to Third Rock MUSH's homepage on the following character pages for Third Rock MUSH: Elana, Emmie, and Everett.
-
I also did a nip and a tuck here to make both the Add Guest Book Entry and View Guest Book Entry pages look just that much more spiffier
-
I started to convert the side menus into GIFs. They need a little color enhancement and work yet. I will probably finish that tomorrow.
