The Druids 'Test of the Twig' (Ancient Druid Test of Guilt)

This test is preformed whenever a Druid must decide whether
someone is guilty of crimes against nature.

Testing a +3 Spear, by throwing it into an ancient oak, may fall
into the crimes against nature, the twig will testify for sure.

The accused is tied securely to a large boulder.
 
Druid finds a twig

The druid moves to face the accused and holds the twig aloft between
them.

The druid releases the twig.

If the twig falls to earth, the accused is guilty of the crime and
is gutted immediately.

If the twig stays aloft, the accused is a vile magic-user, as magic
is outside nature, the accused is burned at the stake.

A pretty fair test really.
