A Small Recap of the Aftermath of the first Deadlands Session as penned by Mr Ball

> A storming sess Mr Ball...how did the rest of it go?


Weeellll going on your previous experience how well do you think it went
 [:-)] 

From when you where gunned down Sukh rushed to the door to meet the
incoming blacksmith with the shotgun and slashed him viciously across
the chaest twice with the sabre of certain death causing him to be
pushed back out the door. Meanwhile Gray I put the "MAD" into mad
scientist is preparing to throw his slumber gas at the smithy,
unfortunately he spies the bloodbath in the door and takes a turn for
the worse and crushes the capsule in his own hand  [:-)] Gray takes it like
a man and the cloud expands to its full radius encompassing the
maniacally laughing Mexican who then goes down like a goodun.

There's starting to be a bit of a commotion in the town so Jonah takes
matters in to his hands and dynamites the jail letting the other two out
they state that no matter what they are not leaving without their gear
whether there's lynch mobs poison gas or what, stuff is rescued bodies
are pulled to safety PJ only pausing to kick the Mexican a few times
while he's unconscious.

Meanwhile Gray has decided the lynch mob is a bit stressful and flips
out again the party see him legging it down the road butt naked again.

This leaves the worrying who's going to drive the getaway steam wagon
problem blank looks are exchanged and Kell is put forward as he once sat
next to Gray when he was driving it  [:-)] He makes an admirable job and
things are going well until Gray's fixing starts to take a turn for the
worse they zoom past the church and out of town. 

Meanwhile in the back a gleeful look comes over PJ and he sneakily pours
the zombie blood he collected down the Mexicans throat.....

Back in the driver seat Kell is almost killed by a piston smashing
through the seat next to him and sailing off into the night, forward
progress begins to slow.

The wagon stops and every body gets off and starts to argue about who's
fault all this is  [:-)] I mention that the boiler doesn't look too healthy
and a few rivets are starting to pop, everybody else remembers the wagon
is loaded with explosives and chemicals... They leg it pretty sharpish

It's a big bang and some more arguing ensues about what to do as they
have no horses again and no steam wagon, eventually they decide that the
nearest habitation is the church and he might have a horse and how much
worse can it be if we steal his horse and have to gun down a vicar and
his family in the process  [:-)] 

Back a Mad central the now Indian Brave/Mad scientist has decided to
track down the rest of the party as he has a vague recollection they dun
him wrong the party are not hard to track and he follows them to the
church where they have found a barn with a wagon and some horses.
Everybody who's not unconscious disappears into the barn leaving you,
Rob and Sukh outside.

Some of the usual animal frolics occur inside when PJ tries to get the
horses but eventually the wagon is hitched. Outside Gray has sneaked up
to the others outside Rob singularly fails to spot him and Gray selects
the Mexican as his victim as he has some knives, these are quickly
pinched and Gray outdoes himself by announcing he's going to scalp the
Mexican  [:-)] THWOP the Mexican is sans a fair wad of hair, Rob finally
notices and screams like a goodun bringing the intrepid team barn out.

PJ looks at the scalping and decides to go into his prejudices against
the Indian races in general Jonah decides to inform PJ that he's blood
brother to an apache and don't take kindly to PJ dissing the Indians, PJ
ignores this and continues, Jonah draws a gun and points it at PJ's
forehead from a few inches, I inform PJ that he's NEVER seen anyone get
a gun out that fast... Unperturbed PJ gives his views on Indian lovers
the hammer clicks back... Jonah asks for an apology, PJ who already has
his guns out doesn't want to back down Kell points his guns at Jonah and
says he'll die if he pulls the trigger this doesn't seem to bother him.
I inform PJ that he can see Jonah's trigger finger knuckle going white,
PJ tries to overawe Jonah at this point to save bloodshed PJ rolls his
dice I look for more dice so I have enough to roll, PJ's attempt fails
dismally Jonah speaks and his voice has taken on a new tone at which
point urine starts to trickle down PJ's leg  [:-)] and he blubs like a girl
and apologises and retreats to plot revenge. Kell looks at his guns and
realises he's just come very close to being killed.

Back at apache central Gray has sneaked back and is clinging to the
underside of the wagon as they depart plotting to secure some more
scalps...


After that they reach a camp site and nothing much more happens  [:-)] so
all in all a good day's work Gray probably came out the worst he gone
from being well off, owning a ranch, steam wagon and various other bits
to not even having the clothes he was standing up in  [:-)]
