 Path of Decisions

You stand here at the crossroads of Orcan life. To the west, the tribal city of Cl'Turk and the exit to the undiscovered world. To the east lie three caves. The northeast cave is the road of war, bloody and vicious. Only those orcs who revel in the lust for blood and victory walk this path. The southeast cave is
the way of strength and combat. They take only those orcs who wish to learn the highest forms and techniques of fighting. The cave leading east is a dark one. Those few orcs who are sadistic and demented walk this path.

Here stands a black iron statue of a HUGE orc. This monument is to the great orcan hero, Gerderg Elfskinner. He stands here in his horrible glory, dressed in wolfhides, crude mail, and wearing a skull helmet. Several scalps of elves and drow hang from a baldric. He wears a necklace of elf ears, and his belt is made of braided dwarf beards. This horrible warrior was the terror of the realms while he lived, and is said to have gone to serve Grummsh himself, when he died. His statue stands here, a silent vigil over this orcan stronghold.
There is writing on the base of the statue.  

Type 'grovel gerderg' to raise yourself from a ghost. Type 'top_ten scalpers' to see the top ten scalpers of your tribe.

Notes:  If you type "grovel gerderg" while you are alive, severe repercussions will occur.  It is not nice to mock the Gerderg, and if you try to pray to Gerderg while still living he will smite you for trying
to fool him and your body will be drained of life.  This command should only be used when you are already dead (obvious for most of us.)  This is the equivalent of a "raise" not a "resurrect" which means you will in fact lose levels.

The top ten scalpers list basically serves no tactical advantage to mudding and advancing.  The purpose of the top ten scalpers list is to encourage scalping (which is how we get upgrades) and to encourage role playing, fun, and competition in the tribes.  Each tribe has their own individual scalpers list.  Once you refresh, your total starts over, making it possible in theory to have your name several times on the scalpers list.
