Welcome to the Gateway Saga

We here at Gateway Station have decided to start an email soap opera. Are you tired of reality? Are you bored at work? Are you bored at home and check your email on and off through the evening looking for something new and exciting to capture your attention. If so, then read on......If not, then the icon is at the bottom of the page....ENJOY!!

We've decided to start the internet's FIRST and ONLY email soap opera. Once a week you'll receive by email the latest edition to "Gateway Station". Similar in effect to the series Deep Space Nine, which is set to end in May of 1999. We here at Gateway would like to continue what Gene Roddenberry started all those years ago....

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS...

Once a week on Monday, your email address will receive the latest Episode in the Saga of Gateway Station, only without the commercials. You will be able to read it at your leisure, or if you sign up from work, you'll be able to print it out, take it home and read it when you have the time. At the end of each "episode" will be a short response section. You can use this for feedback or to add your own "plot" twist for use in later episodes.

When you first sign up you'll also receive a "biography" of the main characters that inhabit Gateway Station. You can print this out and save it for future reference or you may simply leave it in your inbox. It's up to you. With each episode, if a new character is introduced you'll receive their "biography" along with the episode so you won't be confused as you read.

Now, you ask yourself, why would anyone take the time to write out all these episodes? Well, for one I'm a Star Trek fan and will miss Deep Space Nine, as it was one of the reasons I created Gateway Station in the first place. Two, I'm a professional writer who is currently in between books at the moment and since the internet is the wave of the future, I figured I might as well utilize my talents.

The third and probably the most prominent reason I am doing this is because I'm tired of surfing this Click-Thru thing and seeing the SAME type of site over and over again......and I know some of you are too.

Now, some of you are saying to yourself, why would I want to do this? Well there are several reasons. One, A "secret" love for Star Trek but you don't want to be classified as a "trekkie". Yet you can be found each time an episode comes on glued to the set. This will give you the chance to continue that, only in print. Two, you enjoy and miss the "written" word, which gives your imagination room to roam. Three, you don't have to "buy" anything or "subscribe" to cable to get these episodes. They come to you, via the wonderful invention of email.
