History :

His birth parents were once heard stating that if it were up to Korhin, he would have ripped his way free of the womb, rather than being pulled. He's never liked being told what to do, even as a child.

Though Necron standards of childhood are different than humanities, he was odd even there. The traditional hunter/warrior system of the Necrons appealed greatly to Korhin, despite his desire to rise above pack member to pack leader.

At the age of 18, general unpleasantness occurred between he and his family, which lead to his self-imposed exile from the planet. After bouncing around as a freelance mercenary for almost two years, where he gained his last name of Mercer (Necrons have no last names as such).

Seeking more from his life, he enrolled in starfleet. While not exactly telling the truth about his past, he did list "Generic ship service." under previous star cruising experience. Once at the acadmey, it was obvious he was intended for security and security only.

Transfered to special school in Kyoto Japan, he began his training in martial arts, and other various security mesaruments. That, however, is his biggest weakness. He pushes himself past physical tolerances and limits, and therefore makes both enemies and friends of the medical personel.

Lack of sleep, dehydration, and malnourihsment have plagued him since early in his career. However, these are the prices he gladly pays for his vigilance.
