Troll Oddities
In the sixties a lot of companies produced odd creatures that they called trolls. Here are just a few.
This 3" unmarked tabneck troll has a white body and red rooted hair and beard. They were also made with red and green bodies. They have molded and painted eyes.
These two trolls are commonly called moon goons. They are made by the L. Khem Co. and have what looks like a flat peanut on their backs. They were produced in three colors: green, blue, and flesh. They all have mohair and plastic spiral eyes. I bought the one on the left dressed in the original clown costume(I'm not sure if he came this way), but dressed the other one from a boxlot of troll clothing that I purchased. The colored moon goons are valued at $25-$40*.
This two-headed Uneeda Wishnik is 3" tall, and came to me nude. I made the overalls from a picture of an original outfit. The value is $40*.
This 3" Marx troll is commonly called Lucky Lou and is, in my opinion, the only cute Marx troll! He has saran hir glued to his head and blue plastic eyes. His body is squishy vinyl with hands behind his back. He has a very chubby belly! His value is $10*.
This 5" boy is made by Krage. His clothes are molded and air-brushed as are his facial features.
This funny-looking little guy is a Lucky Trollikin...a Frolicking Forest Prankster(or so it says on his package)! He is about 5" tall and his right arm and head move. He has black rooted hair and all of his clothes except for the loincloth are molded and painted. He is marked Diener Industries, Inc., Hong Kong.
This odd-looking troll has rooted hair and is fully jointed. His feet look like those of a monkey. He is marked "Made in Hong Kong".
This little guy might not look much like a troll to you, but he has a molded tail. He is a squirter...when you fill him with water and squeeze his head, he squirts water through his "wee-wee"!
