Old Animal Trolls

Some of the most sought after trolls for collectors are the animal trolls. Thomas Dam made perhaps the best, but several other companies got in on the act. I'll show you pictures of the ones I have.





This 3" dog wearing his original swim fins was made by Royalty Designs of Florida. He probably also wore swim trunks originally. He has beautiful long blue mohair and black and white plastic eyes. His value is probably between $30 and $40*.



This 8" lion is simplymarked "Made in Korea" on one foot. I'm pretty sure it's fairly new. It has a hollow plastic body and tons of synthetic hair. And a cloth tail with a tuft of hair on the end.



This is the Dam lion troll. He's marked "Dam Patent" and "Made in Denmark" on the bottom. He's 5" tall and has amber glass eyes and white mohair on his head and tail. His value is $65-$115*.



This 8" mouse is marked "Rauls" and made in England" on the bottom. It's body is just a tube covered with rabbit fur.





I recently won this 3" unmarked mouse troll on eBay. Isn't he adorable? He has a small hole on the top of his head where a hang cord went. I assume the felt outfit is original. He has rabbit fur hair and black plastic eyes.
