Religious Beliefs

nce the five major races collectively agreed upon the Free Speech and learned the languages of Man from one another, they turned to the literature of Man.

Reading about Man's beliefs, they were not considered the popular belief by the races. The Bible was banned as religious literature, to be catalouged for further reference as fiction. The races were offended by a god who could not see the obvious potentials of his own creations.

Most of the races had already created a religious culture founded more on nature, mythical totems, gods and goddesses, elements and the spirit worlds. Each races' views on the after life and the soul were found to be unique to that race and respected by others.

The only religions to survive Man are Buddism and the gods and goddessesof the Egyptians. The Cats and Reptiles had carried these with them from their home lands, sometimes combining them when the two races closely worked together. The membership was not, however, exclusive to these two races.

There are a rare few who still believe in the Man's God. They choose to believe that this god found Man to be a mistake and removed him from the world to make room for the more superior creatures. These believers, much to their dismay, are often ridiculed into silence, forced to believe in underground churches.
