Private Rooms
Each member of college is issued their own private room which is supplied with electricity and
to ensure privacy every member's door has a lock for which they have the only key (some staff
such as cleaners and fellows have master keys). Rooms are cleaned weekly and all house blocks
have laundry and bathroom facilities.
Sleep or Study Policy
In order to ensure that all students are given a fair chance to achieve the behavior within the
house blocks is governed by a simple rule. Houses should be sufficently quiet and controlled that
at anytime of the day a student should be able to sleep or study if they wish too.
Safety is Certain
Security Contacts
As well as our ever vigilant college fellows there are also trained security guards on duty throughout
the university and the college. These are reachable by the various "security phones/poles" which are
placed about the college and the university and are on duty 24 hours a day.
Study Facilities
Tute Room
The college also has a small private tutorial room equiped with a large table, plenty of chairs
and white board which can be booked by members to hold group study, revision or brainstorming
sessions.
Dining Hall
Friendly Staff
All of the kitchen staff are fully approachable and are happy to help all of the college members. The chief cook
known as "Big Mick" is also a sexual harassment counselor on college. While not all the kitchen staff are this
well trained members should feel free to ask any questions if they have any food related problems.
Specail Occassions
The dining hall is also used to house and provide for special dinners where all members are invited to attend.
Durings these meals the college provides all the workings of a restaurant including glasses, napkins, tablecloths
and drinks of water, orange juice and wine (only in social proportions though) and members are expected to act
with the appropraite form.
