Falling Action is Redding California's only straightedge hardcore band. We arose from the ashes of Reddings first sXe band CutShort. Basically the lineup of CutShort was the same, only Azy was the singer, Ricky ,(now in ATF), played guitar, and Rusty was our #1 fan. Well, like all bands do, we broke up cause we were all just on different levels with the band. Falling Action got together with Azy, Jessee, Zach and Rusty, and then we got Dan to come in on second guitar. We play a mixture of old and new styles of hardcore. Live, we like to get into our music and do lots of cheesy stuff rather than stand around playing our instruments like nerds. Lyrically, we seem to stick to real shit, avoiding abstract coded lyrics, or words about overthrowing governments. Most of our songs are just about what we have to deal with in our day to day lives, stuff that people can relate to, but who knows what might be in the future, we definately won't limit ourselves. We are a group of best friends who play music that we can have fun playing, whether we look cool or not. So please check us out, and watch out for the flying bass.
