(or how we conquered Bundaberg)

The ships in orbit around Qo'noS disgorged their loads of shuttles to the northern part of the Southern continent and the race was on. First to leave was Lt. Morf on a scheduled mass transport vessel several days beforehand as he had family to visit in the same area. Followed by Captain Krud (aarrgghh) and his family who had to stop briefly to make sure that ample supplies were laid in for the trip. Followed closely by the shuttle bearing myself and my mate and our shipmate Lt. Cmdr Qorgh, as well as the second shuttle from the Dragon's Honour, which held Lt. Cmdr B’Etor DevnoH, and her consort Lt. Le'DeI as well as Lt. Klagg Pallara. Also leaving the Honour was the peeling red Volvo class shuttle belonging to Lt. Seng and his Orion slave girl. A refueling stop was called and several of the shuttles met and their crews ate drank and made merry. Then it was on to Bundaberg.
Crew of the IKV Dragons Spirit
Upon arrival in Bundaberg the shuttle with LeDeI' at the controls took the lead and transferred the landing coordinates to the following shuttles, however an ion storm that they had passed through scrambled the coordinates and the shuttles weaved around uncertainly until a research station was located. Hailing frequencies were opened and the crew manning the station downloaded the correct maps into the navicomps of the shuttles. Upon arrival at the outpost the crews disembarked and began setting up their temporary shelters for the duration of their stay. The crew of the newly commissioned ship the IKV Dragon's Spirit, threw wide their doors and accepted their southern brothers and sisters with open arms.
The first order of business was to visit the local Bloodwine distillery and tour the plant, it seems that at the same time there were some cultural guests of the Empire from the Federation touring the facility and they seemed most taken aback by the appearance of a huge group of Klingon warriors in full battle dress.
The tour culminated in a Bloodwine tasting room and the noise level increased to impressive proportions, due to the lubrication of many dry Klingon throats with Bloodwine. Following was a trip to a local supply depot to gather much needed supplies for the celebration to be held that night. Many of the security staff was so intimidated by theincursion that they turned on all of the monitors and went so far as to follow the warriors around. Captain Krud proved his Honour by insisting that he be frisked so as to prove that we did not intend to remove any of their goods illegally.
The party that ensued was wild and raucus, much Bloodwine flowed and the songs were loud and long, the celebrations continued into the night, and many friendships were forged anew and new friendships were begun with promises of continuing for many a year to come.
The next day dawned with many a sore head and several minor scrapes, as well as one major scrape upon the body of Lt. Cmdr B'Etor which she received from chasing her consort through the bushes. The full breakfast was heartily accepted and eaten, and soon after some of the interstellar press arrived to document such a large gathering, the press followed the Warriors around and took many holopictures and asked questions about the reasons for the gathering. Later that afternoon many of the shuttles departed to return to their respective ships leaving only Lt. Cmdr B'Etor and her consort to stay until the next day when they left for home before they wore out their welcome.
