Summary :
Buffy asks Willow to find a de-lusting spell for her and Angel.

Buffy was talking with Willow over the phone.
"So, " Buffy said, "How are things going between you and Oz?"
"Pretty bad. He won't talk to me."
"Well, I'm sorry to tell you, but you deserve it. I mean, how could you not tell me about you and Xander ? And Willow, how could you do this to Oz ? And Cordy ?"
"Buffy I... It's just that... I've been in love with Xander in like forever and it just... I don't know, it just happened. But I don't feel good about this! Actually, I never knew that there was something inside me that could feel so bad. And what about you ? You're not a saint either! Remember, when you didn't tell us about Angel ?"
"Yeah, well, I had my reasons. Anyway, we've decided not to see eachother anymore."
"Yeah, right. Like that's ever gonna happen ! Next thing you're gonna tell me is that you don't love him !"
"No. I do love him. I love him so much, it hurts. I will always love him I think. Actually, I'm pretty sure about that."
"Yes, and so am I."
"That's why I want you to do a de-lusting spell. For me and Angel."
"Uh-huh. Forget about it. I'm not doing any love spell ever again. There's always something wrong happening when someone does a love spell."
"I know but... I think that it's the only way for me and Angel to have some kinda imitation of a normal life."
"Maybe you're right. But I won't do it right away. And you have to talk to Angel about it."
"I know. Thanks Will. See you tomorrow at the library."
"Bye."
Willow had a bad feeling about that spell. Maybe it was because of everything that had happened with Spike just a few days ago. Maybe it was because she knew that something was gonna happen.Oh, what the Hell. What could happen ?
Buffy wasn't having any doubts at all. Actually, she was looking forward to doing the spell. In her eyes, it was like getting her liberty back.
Angel and I are finally gonna be able to live without any risk of him loosing his soul again. It's not like I didn't like being in love with him, it's just that, it hurts so much ! But it will all be over as soon as Willow does the spell. That is, if Angel agrees to do it. I think he will. I can ask him tonight, after I finished patroling.
The next morning at the library :
Almost the whole Scooby Gang was at the library. Oz and Cordelia hadn't showed up at the morning meetings since they found out about Xander and Willow going behind their backs. Buffy had already told Giles about the spell when Willow and Xander arrived. Separately. After Buffy had told Xander, Giles started asking questions.
"Buffy, " he asked first, "Are you sure that you want to do this ? It is a big step. What did Angel think about it ?"
"He didn't wanna do it in the beginning but there we were, is his appartement again. It reminded him of the time we... you know. Sure he's gonna miss loving me. And I'm gonna miss loving him. You know, it's really strange, This feeling's been there so long that I'm sure I'll feel empty in the beginning."
"Well, you are right. It is what will happen. It isn't gonna be easy but if you think it's worth it..."
"Well, I do. And so does Angel."
Willow finally spoke.
"I think that I can do the spell in about three days. Is it OK ?"
"Yeah, sure. Does Angel has to come as well ?"
"No. I just need an object that symbolizes your love, and an object from each of you that reminds you of eachother."
"What if the object that symbolizes our love is two objects ?"
"It doesn't matter. But please don't let it be something enormous. What about the Claddagh rings ?"
"No. I don't ... It's just that... I really like mine and it just means so much to me. Even if I won't be in love with him anymore, I still wanna keep the ring. It's like keeping your wedding ring after you're divorced."
"I see. Then find something else."
"I will. So, Xander, what's up ? You haven't said a word since you arrived."
"Nothing's up with me. I'm fine. I'm just thinking."
"Well that..."
"Please Buffy, don't."
"Sorry. Shouldn't we be getting to class ?"
Part 2
Three days later, Buffy's house
Angel arrived at Buffy's place around 7 p.m. Willow and Giles were also there and they were about do the spell. Willow was really nervous. She was always double-checking everything.
"Angel, did you get that object of yours ?"
"First I thought about the ring but... you know. Then I remembered about this. Buffy lost it one night at the cemetary and I found it. I liked it so much I just kept it."
He was showing this beautiful silver necklace. It was a little sun that was blue in the middle. Buffy didn't even recognize it.
"What's your object, Buffy ?"
"The cross-necklace that you gave me when I first met you."
"Oh. Willow, shall we begin ?"
"Yeah. I'm gonna say all those latin stuff, you Giles, light and blow the candles when I tell you. Buffy, Angel, just stand in front of eachother. Give me your stuff when I ask you. I think that's it."
So they did it. It was a little scary. When the spell aproached the end, this kinda light sort of flew away from Buffy's body but nothing happened with Angel. Buffy was feeling really dizzy but Angel wasn't feeling different at all. That worried him.
"Willow, I don't think that the spell worked. I don't feel empty like Giles said I would and the light didn't flew away from me."
"Maybe it's because you're a vampire. I'll check it as soon as I get home. Say bye to Buffy and Giles for me. I'm going home."
"Sure, bye !"
As Willow went to sleep, she was still thinking of what that could have gone wrong with the spell.
Maybe Angel's object wasn't right. Maybe Buffy's wasn't. Maybe Giles lighted the candles to soon. Or maybe I didn't say the right latin stuff. Oh my God ! I think I know what went wrong ! Buffy's gonna be so mad !
The next morning at the library :
For the first time since he had found out about his girlfriend cheating om him, Oz went to the morning meeting at the library. When he entered, the looks on Willow's and Xander's faces were the first things he saw.
Buffy finally spoke.
"Oz ! How are you ?"
"I'm fine. So, what's new ?"
"Nothing special."
Willow was feeling so bad. Not only because of the kissing-issue but she was also feeling bad about the stupid mistake she had made the night before. I have to tell Buffy. I know she's gonna kill me but I have to. Okay, here I go.
"Actually Buffy, there's something I gotta tell you. Can I talk to you over there ?"
"Sure, Willow. So, what is it ?"
"Well, you're not gonna like what I'm about to tell you. Yesterday, after we did the spell, Angel was worried. He thought that it didn't work on him. You know, 'cuz the light didn't flew away from him. Actually, the light isn't supposed to fly away."
"What do you mean ?"
"Well, if my books are right, the light that flew away was your love."
"And that's why I'm not in love with Angel anymore. I still don't see what's wrong."
"Well, when the light flew, it must have gone somewhere, right ? And well, it went into someone else."
"You mean that I'm never gonna be able to love anyone again ?"
"No! No, not at all. Actually, you are in love with someone, and that someone is in love with you."
"Who is it then ?"
"Spike."
"WHAT ?!?! I can't be in love with Spike ! I can't stand the guy !"
"Well, not anymore. But there's still something I don't understand. You should feel the love you have for Spike now. Unless..."
"Unless what ?"
"Unless you were already in love with him before we did the spell."
"No, no, no. Don't go there. I wasn't in love with him. Uh-huh. Forget about it. Actually, I'm not in love with him now either."
"Now C'mon. You're telling me that you have thought about him one single time since yesterday ?"
"Well, maybe I did think about him a couple of times. Okay, I thought about him a lot but it doesn't mean I love him !"
"Actually, it does. Buffy, you gotta believe me. Anyway, if you love him, he loves you. Which means that he'll be showing up very soon. Remember that. I also suggest that you don't tell Angel yet. He still loves you."
"How come ?"
"'Cuz I said the wrong latin word. Anyway, I was right and you *were* in love with Spike."
"Yeah, well, maybe I was, maybe I wasn't, you'll never know."
"Oh I know plenty. Aren't you gonna tell the others ?"
"Sure, they need to know. But since you were the one that messed up, you get to tell them."
"What ?! But I... But you... Why are you being so mean to me ?"
"C'mon. It's nothing."
Willow told the rest of the Gang about Buffy and Spike being in love and everything. Everyone of them freaked out.
I wonder how things are gonna go between Buffy and Spike. She'll have to tell him about the spell. Buffy and Spike together. I can't say I never thought about but still, it's like if me and Angel got together !
Part 3
For the last two days, the only thing he had thought about was the Slayer. Why am I thinking about the bloody Slayer ! I should be looking for Dru, not going back to Sunnyhell ! But I can't get her outta my bloody mind ! I gotta back there and see her. No, stupid, you need to look for Dru. Nah, can't be bothered. Let's just drive back to Sunnydale, see what happens.
Buffy was talking to Xander over the phone. After what happened, everyone was confused. Xander was really trying to get it but failed every single time.
"So, you're in lone with both Angel and Spike."
"No, just Spike but Angel's still in love with me."
"How come ?"
"'Cuz he still got the light."
"Oh, so it didn't flew away from him. You know what, I don't really care. So, any sign of Spike yet ?"
"No. Have you talked to Willow lately ? I mean about what happened at the factory."
"I've tried but she's always busy trying to get Oz to talk to her."
"What about Cordelia ?"
"I'm dead. It's totally hopeless. I'm bored. So very, very bored. What are you doing tonight ?"
"Nothing. My Mom's outta town for the rest of the week."
"Do you feel like Bronzing tonight ? You know, just the two of us. We never spend time alone."
"You're right. Let's go out tonight. Can you take your Mom's car ?"
"Sure. I'll pick you up in fifteen minutes, allright ?"
"See you then, bye !"
Buffy put on her knee-high boots and waited for Xander. She was hoping that Spike would show up tonight. She still wasn't sure about her love for him. Was it really because of the spell or had she been in love with him already before the spell ? Finally, Xander arrived. He was looking pretty hansome and Buffy couldn't help noticing it.
"Xander ! My God, you look good !"
"You're not bad yourself, Buff. So, ready to Bronze ?"
"As ready as one can get. I didn't know you could look this good. It's really strange."
"Why, thanks a lot, Buffy. Now I know that I always look like a trash."
"I didn't mean that it's just that... You know what ? Let's not talk about it. We're gonna have one of the greatest nights of our life !"
"You bet we are."
The Bronze was almost empty. Xander was glad to see that Cordelia wasn't there. So was Buffy. I never thought Xander and I could have such a good time. I think it's the first time he and I go out alone. We should do it more often.
After a little while, they started dancing.
"I like this song," Xander said, "What is it called ?"
"'I Think I'm Paranoid'"
"Of course you're not, Buffy !"
"I know, it's the name of the song. It's by Garbage."
"Oh, I see. I gotta get their CD."
"Finally something slow." said Buffy when this old slow song came up.
She and Xander got closer together and continued dancing.
"You know what Xander ?"
"No."
"I haven't had such a great time in like forever. Thank you for taking me out."
"I'm having the time of my life here. Don't thank me for anything."
"Xander, are you really in love with Willow ?"
"I don't know, things have been really confusing lately. There's Cordelia and then there's Willow and there's..."
"Who ?"
"Well, you know. You."
"I didn't know you were still in love with me. I... Thanks."
"Don't get angry but I'm sure that you and I would be together today if you hadn't been in love with Angel."
"Yeah, I think so too. But you're forgetting something."
"What ?"
"I'm not in love with Angel anymore."
Then they kissed. The one thing Xander thought never would happen finally did. Of course, he was worried. Thank God ! At last, my dream's becoming true. But there's something I don't get. Buffy did say that she was in love with Spike, so why am I the one she's kissing ? Actually, I don't really care. This is Sunnydale, anything can happen. When they finally got off of eachother, the first thing Buffy and Xander saw was Spike standing beside them. When his eyes met Buffy's, he ran outside. Buffy ran after him.
"Spike! Wait !"
"Why are you coming after me ?"
"I don't know. Why did you ran outside ?"
"'Cuz for the last two days, you've been the only thing on my mind."
"I've been thinking about you too. And I've got an explanation."
"What is it, then ?"
"It's a long story. Would you please come back inside ?"
"Allright. Tell me now."
"Well, Willow did this de-lusting spell on me and Angel but she messed up. What she actually did was to make you and me fall in love with eachother."
"Then why were you kissing him ?"
"None of your damn buisness."
"So that's why I've been thinking about you so much. Well, tell the little witch to do a new spell 'cuz I wanna get back to my normal un-dead life."
"Sure. By the way, did you find Drusilla ?"
"No, and I'm not sure I want to anymore. Maybe I could stay here. I could help you out sometimes."
"Yeah, right. Do whatever you want. It's been nice talking to you but Xander and I are going back to my place. I'll tell you when we're doing the spell again."
Buffy and Xander rushed to his car when suddenly, Xander understood what was actually going on.
"Buffy, slow down. I think I know what's going on."
"What is it ?"
"Willow think that she made you fall in love with Spike, right ? Well, I think she made you fall in love with every male that's close to you."
"What do you mean ?"
"Let's face it, it always takes some freaky spell for you to notice me. And I really don't think that you're in love with Spike. So, I'm gonna drive back to your house but just to drop you off. Tomorrow morning, we'll talk to Willow about it and she'll check if I'm right."
"Okay. Whatever."
"Well, I'm glad to see that you care. Put on your sitbelt."
Next morning at the library :
Buffy and Xander had just finished telling Willow about the latest events.
"I think Xander's right. I really messed up, didn't I ?"
"You sure did. Do you know about any spell that would stop me about being in love with everyone ?"
"Sure, we can do it tonight. I have good news."
"What is it ?"
"I think that I can find a way to make Angel's curse impossible to break."
"You mean that Angel and I are gonna be able to together ? Without him loosing his soul again ?"
"Yes."
"Oh my God. Oh my God. Do the spell, fix me. Fix ne mow ! That way, I can be in love with Angel again."
"Sure."
Angel and Buffy had been happy together for three months now. Willow was seeing Xander and believe it or not, Oz and Cordelia were together too. Spike did stay in Sunnydale and is helping the Scooby Gang out from time to time. Willow decided to stop fooling around with black magic and everything is back to normal. Well, as normal as things can be on the Hellmouth.
