...- hmm that's pretty difficult. But let me start now:
My name is Birte Schmitz and I'm 20 years old. Originally I'm from Kleve but I live in Freiburg, in the bestWG ever right now. Before I moved here I was in the States for a year. I lived in Michigan near Detroit and worked as an au- pair for a very nice family. It is real fun being there but it can be very hard, too, as you can imagine. But I can just tell everybody: It's one of the best things I've ever done. If you are thinking about spending a year in the States this is a very good opportunity.
I have to say that I'm very sad that I'm done with my year. The little one I took care of is the cutest baby in the world an the host-family was just great.
I'm back in Germany since the 10th of July and have only a few more free days before I start studying tourism here in Freiburg. But before I tell you more about that let me tell you something about my hobbies:
One of my biggest and most expensive hobbies. There is hardly a movie I have not seen. So, if you wanna take me on a date take me to the movies ;o)
I could not exist without it. This is one of the reasons for my study in tourism. I want to see as much of the world as I can. And as you can see it is going very well... Wanna read some reports and see some pictures?!
Oh man, how could I live without it?! I started chatting there when I was in the States and I must admit that I'm completely addicted to it by now. But why not. The people are nice and they even have German x-files channels. In case you are looking for me my nick is"Gillian" and you'll find me in"#aktex" or"#akte_x".
TXF/SiFi:Dah...- what would I do with an x-files hp if I hated it?! I must say that I watched it in Germany but in the States I fell totally in love with it. Is that a problem for anybody? It is a great series and the original version is the best thing ever.
The other thing I totally love is Starwars. Don't you just love Princess Leia's hair style ;o) and those little Ewoks?! I'm dying to see the 3 new movies soon :o)
Sure I have more hobbies but those were the ones I could write the most about.
And these are the others:
basketball, swimming, rollerblading, reading, going out with friends, cooking( I'm pretty good), singing,...
I think there are way more things but those are the most important.
