This is a more recent design for the main two characters of my manga-style comic. This one was first drawn with pencil in my sketchbook, around late August 1998. I hated it, and left the picture, having no intent to ever look at it again. Then, on August 7, 1999, I decided to come back to it. I redrew most of it, changed their costumes, shortened the guy's hair (!!!), inked it, and partially colored it with Prismacolor pencils. I was quite happy with some of the shading and linework, but didn't finish it, because I was afraid I'd ruin it. So, when I scanned it to put it up here, I finished coloring it in Photoshop. I was not completely unhappy with the result. I like the shading, and the girl's costume, but the proportions are off, and the guy's face looks like a dog's...
