This... is a long story... It was originally done in dry-erase marker on a roommate's whiteboard. As I was starting university again, he and I were on different scheduals, so I wouldn't see him often. He had a whiteboard up on his door, for people to write messages on, and I would occasionally draw pictures on it. One day, I drew Hiei as a lounge singer, with Kurama, Kaworu (Neon Genesis Evangelion), Sephiroth as band members. The singer from ZetsuAi was looking on jealously, as he wanted to be the singer instead of Hiei. I liked the image of Hiei as a lounge singer, so I tried to redraw it in my sketchbook, in pencil and ink. And... here it is. I really like it, but other people may not. The picture is dated Sept 14/98, but I don't remember when the original on the whiteboard was done.
