Part Two

The three walked out into the night. Buffy still had so many questions. She didn't think that she would like her but she was wrong. The girl, woman, had so much experience. She was THE slayer as far as everyone was concerned. The best at that. It looked like she was being demoted. But that was okay. "How long have you and Steven been married?"

The tiny girl looked up at the sky and then at Buffy. "Well, we didn't get married until about seven years after we left Ireland. So I'd say about two-hundred twenty."

Buffy let out a huge whistle. "I don't know how you've stayed with each other for so long. How come you waited for seven years?"

Victoria shivered slightly. "I don't know. We weren't ready. We were only thirteen." Buffy smiled.

"What's the secret for staying together so long. You never fell out of love?"

Slightly closing her eyes, Victoria shook her head. "It's always been like that. We've been through so much that we've become closer than we ever were. I can't stand to be apart from him long. I got sick last week. I wanted to go home but he made me promise that I would do this thing for him. It was something that happened in 1872 and its a long story. Anyway, he talked to me that whole day to make sure that I was alright. And I guess the fact that we waited until we were married. Neither of us were intimate with anyone and he was the only boy I knew who wasn't flesh and blood. He was the only child and I was the only girl his parents allowed to play with. It's freaky now. We can hear each other's thoughts. That's how I communicate with him. Whether I'm here in Sunndayle or just up the street from him."

"You waited?" Buffy said in astonishment. "For seven years you traveled with each other knowing you were in love and were alone with each other everyday, and you didn't touch each other?" They waited for the car to go by and then stepped out in the street.

"Yes. It wasn't that hard to do. That's how we were raised. My mother said to me once that when a man and a woman who are in love get married first and then consummate the relationship, you're much more happier. And she was right. A lot of problems that some of our friends have we don't because we waited. I remember our first night together, it was exciting and scary for both of us. Someone very wise once told me that men don't respect you if you sleep with them just because they want you to. It means that you'll sleep with anyone. And then they'll think they can use you. Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?"

Buffy stared at Angel who was giving her a look that said not to even think whatever it was she was thinking. "Steve and I were always in a lot of danger. And I suppose out of fear of losing each other or something we could have, but we didn't. We just prayed that we would live to get married when the time was right. We were tempted, but we never went anywhere beyond kissing. Now, I'm grateful for it."

Buffy thought about what happen between her and Angel. "I wish we would have waited. Then you wouldn't have lost your soul."

Angel glared at his sister and then placed his arm around Buffy's small waste pulling her closer to him in the process. "I know, but let's not talk about it right now."

The other slayer stared at Angel in shock and then at Buffy. "You mean you guys aren't married? I mean I knew you were living together but I didn't know that you weren't married. That's how you lost your soul because of that?" Angel cursed himself silently. He knew that he was going to get a mouthful from his sister. Right now, he wasn't in the mood to hear it.

"No we aren't married and yes I lost my soul because I had a mom-"

Victoria put her hands up stopping him in mid explanation. She looked down at the claddagh rings both he, and Buffy were wearing. "I know why...but I didn't know how. Wait! But Angel, you're both weari-"

This time she was cut off by him. He told her something in Gaelic and she replied back clearly understanding. Her eyes were lit up this time and she looked at Angel and Buffy. She was about to say something but once again, Angel cut her off in the same language. She gained her disappointed and shocked expression just before Angel had cut into her.

"You guys are lucky that you have a very special situation and highly special relationship. The average couple don't commit to a relationship after sex unless they're married." Angel rolled his eyes.

"Well that's the average couple. And we aren't the average couple, now are we?" he smiled jokingly. Buffy laughed a little embarrassed at the way the conversation had went. She decided not to ask them, though bewildered she was, about what they were saying. They had purposely used a different language to exclude her so she wasn't about to interrupt. She wasn't hurt. All siblings shared secrets at one time or another.

"That we aren't."

Victoria became serious again as she saw the way Angel and Buffy looked lovingly into each other's eyes. She knew they were very much in love. She knew what was going to happen between them and she decided to tell them right then and there. They were almost at his apartment and she stopped dead in her tracks.

"I have to tell you guys something. I just want you to know that I can see into the future sometimes. But for this I don't need to see the future. I can look tell you this from experience and age. You guys are going to go through a lot more. Demons, silly fights, serious fights, and all kinds of things, but your love for each other is the strongest and deepest love there ever was on this earth. After me and Steven of course. Those are the things that will make you stronger together and individually. And when I look into my mind and see forward to hundreds of years, I see you two still together. And my visions are never wrong." Buffy reached out and hugged her.

Angel held back still gazing at her, questioning her with his eyes. Something he wanted to say but couldn't bring himself to say. Vicky always used to hate his girlfriends and he wanted her blessing. Still hugging her, Victoria facing Angel slightly smiled and nodded, allowing Angel to smile back and relax. She was pleased with Buffy. Finally they released and walked down to Angel's apartment. *********

A light breeze tickled Victoria. She tried to ignore it but she finally opened her eyes and saw Angel smiling at her like a little boy. "Angel. It's 6:30 in the morning. Shouldn't you be sleeping or something?" He sat beside her and looked at her with amusement.

"Buffy just brought me Play Station. I just got Quest 64, play it with me please?"

Victoria dropped her head back on the pillow and closed her eyes. "Angel, you always used to do this to me when we were little. You'd wake me up at five in the morning and make me get dressed, sneak me out the house and go riding. It wasn't funny then and it sure as hell isn't now."

This made Angel laugh and give a puppy dog face. "Vic, come on. Please? Buffy always tells me to leave her alone before she mounts my head on the wall."

Slowly turning over she sucked her teeth. "And I encourage her from afar." Angel shook her again. "Fine! I'm getting up," she said still laying down.

Angel shook her once more. "You're not moving." Reluctantly she got up and threw a pillow at Angel who fell back and doubled over with laughter.

Secretly she was happy inside. It was just like old times. She felt a wave of happiness flow within her. She was always happy but now her life was complete and the good Angel that she'd known was here too stay forever, without the vampire thing. They went to the living room and turned on the TV. They took their seats on the floor and popped in Quest.

An hour later they were still playing. Shouts of laughter and happiness ringing everywhere as Angel and Vicky played the game. Buffy had been watching them the whole time. She couldn't help thinking how good this was for them. Angel seemed complete now. It amazed her how he never told anyone about his sister. She hadn't even heard of her. But Vicky had explained that the night after she became immortal she stole all the books with her story in it. She wanted to remain dead to the Slayer world. Once again a burst of laughter filled the room.

Buffy then frowned. She had news of her own and didn't know how Angel was going to take it. She was happy and nervous all in one and she still had to tell her love about their new situation. Pushing the dark clouds out of her mind, she smiled to herself. Time to get up and make myself known. She pulled the covers off of her and stretched. She walked over to the living room.

"Who's winning?" Angel paused the game and turned around as well as his sister. Buffy bent down to meet Angel's eyes. He tenderly kissed her and then more passionately, dropping the control.

Victoria smiled amusingly. "You mine as well make love right in front of me."

They ignored and finally broke apart. "Good morning," Angel said kissing her once more.

"Good morning to you too." Buffy leaned close for another kiss. She sat in back of him rubbing his shoulders. "Good morning Vic."

Vicky glanced at Angel and smiled at him causing him to scowl. "I'm winning. Which is weird since I haven't played this game ever." Buffy laughed and got up and headed toward the kitchen.

Pulling out some orange juice, she spoke to Victoria. "Does your husband know where we live?"

Victoria shook her head as she jumped over a tree. "He should be here in about three hours."

The toast popped up and Buffy quickly picked it up while pouring the orange juice in the glasses. She placed everything on the tray and brought it over to the two. "Here you go. Breakfast served. It's not much because I don't cook much. That's your brother's job."

Victoria reached for some toast while her eyes were on the game. "Really? See, that's interesting since he thought it was girlish to be a man and cook. You've certainly changed."

Angel let out a low growl. "Focus Vicky." The two women snickered at this. Vicky turned her attention back to the game.

Finally, they reached the final level and Victoria was just about to cross the castle. "Prepare," she said with a triumphant smile as she looked at the screen, "to be defeated." The figure crossed over to the castle holding the key and the crown.

"And that's...that," Buffy said as she ate her last piece of toast.

Angel wanted to look angry but with his two favorite girls there he couldn't resist. Smiling he pushed Victoria to the ground. "I demand a rematch. You cheated."

Victoria gave him a jab to the stomach and fell back on the floor. "Yeah, okay, I cheated. How?"

She got up to wipe the crumbs off of her T-shirt but Angel tripped her. Pinning her arms back she screamed with delight. "I don't know yet but when I find out how, you're in trouble. Now say I won," he said raising his hands in a tickling position. He reached in for her and she screamed. But he ignored her protests.

Buffy couldn't help but join in and she held Angel back as Victoria reversed the order. "Say Uncle." He tried to hold out but both girls glanced at one another and went for his neck.

"O-O-Okay, Un-Uncle!" They let go and got up. "This isn't over," Angel said getting up as well. Victoria brought her hands to his neck and gave him a warning and devious smile. He backed away and ran behind Buffy who was trying to go back to sleep.

Victoria effortlessly went into hand space position and pulled her weight up twisting about in every way landing behind Angel. Buffy shockingly sank on the bed. "Even I the second greatest slayer, couldn't do that. Actually, I could, but I'm too scared to try it." Vicky smiled.

The doorbell rang as she and Angel prepared to wrestle like they used to do when they were little. "I'll get it," Buffy said as she walked over to the door giggling. She opened the door and blinked as she looked at the sight before her eyes. A tall man with a muscular build, chiseled features, the most heavenly face she had seen since Angel. He's the most gorgeous thing I've ever seen in my life, besides Angel of course. He doesn't look 13. He looks like he's 26.

Angel had met his match. The man with blue eyes and a tight jaw stood there smiling as he looked at Buffy then at Angel and Victoria laughing, as she head locked him. Buffy looked down and noticed the two girls holding his hand. After Buffy got finished checking him out, Vicky looked up and saw her husband standing there. She looked at him and smiled. All the men in my life look too darn Angelic for me. He and Angel are the two most beautiful creatures I've ever seen in my life.

She dropped Angel in mid headlock and ran to the door. Angel got up and looked towards the door as he saw his sister and brother-in-law standing there. They looked totally happy and in love. Just like him and Buffy. He advanced towards the door slowly. Victoria gave Steve a warm, welcoming, tender, kiss. She broke away and smiled as she stooped down to look at her two little girls who's eyes gleamed with excitement.

"Steven, you remember Angel don't you?" She looked at both men trying to gauge their reactions to one another. Angel was both angry and guilty. Angry because he wasn't their to be at the wedding or have a big brotherly talk with him. And because he didn't want to share her with anyone. Guilty, because of not being there at the wedding. And most of all for killing his family. He hadn't forgotten that. Just pushed it aside. Somewhat.

Steven, however felt nothing but love for Angel. He knew how much Vicky had loved her brother, and he always looked up to him as a brother himself. A rush of love came through him as he watched Angel looked at him hard as if he was were the bad guy. That's when he realized that no matter what, Angel had always had the most strongest love and respect for his sister that no brother could have. Not even him.

"Angel. It's been two-hundred something years. Last time I saw you, I was dead and about to start a new life." Angel lost the hard look in his eyes and cast them down to the floor. He saw a hand come under his eye. He looked up at a smiling Steven. "Remind me to thank you for it."

Angel smiled a little. He always knew he liked this kid. "Yeah...well. It's nothing to be proud about killing people. I'm sorry about your parents."

"They're happier where they are now anyway. They wouldn't have lived a long life. They were better off dead." Angel realized that he was forgiven. More so, he never really was blamed for it. He gripped him up into a hug.

"Sorry I wasn't there for the wedding. But just because of the past two-hundred and twenty years of my new life has made me a loner, doesn't mean that I don't know how to be a brother or a father figure for that matter. So, are you treating my sister right? Not feeding her too much are you? You know she likes to eat well."

They laughed at this. Buffy smiled as she watched them interact with each other. Angel was coming along well. There would have been a time when he wouldn't have forgiven himself so easily much less let anyone else do it for him. She was sad that she had missed that part of his life. His first human life. She would have loved to find out what he was like back then. And now that a major link to his past was hanging around, she would hound information from her.

Vicky smiled, pleased at both of the men her life, for their understanding. She linked Steven's arm through hers and turned him to face Buffy. "And this, is Buffy Summers. She's the newest member of the Slayer's Club. She's been making Angel glow for the past three and a half years. Which tells you something. Even when Angel was normal, he was totally a brooder."

Steven extended his hand out towards the slim girl. She was beautiful he thought and told her and Angel so. They seemed perfect for each other. "A pleasure to meet you." He casually glanced at her hand and then at Angel's and smiled knowingly. Both his brother-in-law and his wife catching it Vicky shook her head no. She then spoke in the for of what sounded like a mixture of what she and Angel had spoken before and French. Buffy wondered what was going on with the three of them and their language.

"I won't ask you to translate for me since it's obvious I'm not wanted in the convo. But speak English for those of us who are American."

Vicky laughed. "Sorry. Its a habit us Irish people have. When we meet one of our own who can talk the Gaelic, we simply can't resist." Buffy turned away but not before noticing the wink Vicky gave both Angel and Steven.

"How's my two little favorite girls doing? You got so big!" Vicky picked the two girls up easily in her arms. "I want you to meet two people. You'll like them." She turned to Buffy and Angel and looked towards Angel. "This is your Uncle Angel. Isn't he the most beautiful boy you've ever seen?" Steve coughed. "Okay, one of the most beautiful." Vicky placed the girls into her brothers arms. He shook his head in amazement. He has never been around kids that much. It made him think about the ones he and Buffy would never get to have.

"Say, 'Bonjour Angel.' The two girls squealed.

"Bonjwor Angwel," Angelique and Angelica said at the same time.

Angel rolled his eyes at Vicky. He looked at the two little people he held in his arms. They were so innocent and pure. They had no idea what was out there. He wished it would stay that way, but he knew that it would be impossible. Pushing thoughts of darkness out of his mind, he goofily smiled at the girls. "Hi. How are you?"

The twins began to bounce in his arms and quickly he handed them over to Buffy. "And this," Victoria announced, "could be your soon to be Aunt, Buffy. We hope. Say, 'Buenos dias. ¿Como esta?"

Once again the girls went into a giggling fit. "Buenos Dia, comwo esa?"

Buffy looked confused. "Something tells me I should have listened to the Spanish teacher when he actually taught Spanish. Okay wait a sec. . .Muy bien. ¿Y tu? Was that right?"

Victoria looked at he daughters. "Was that right girls?"

Both girls nodded. "They're so adorable how do you tell them apart?"

Steve wrapped his arms around his wife. "We only dress them up alike on special occasions. But we know that even though they look alike they aren't. So we dress them differently." His wife nodded.

"Angelique likes to learn French but she loves Spanish to death and the opposite is with Angelica. She likes Spanish and loves French. But they are learning both languages anyway. Angelica likes vanilla and Angelique like chocolate. Angelica is the out going one while Angelique is more conservative. I could go on but we'd be here all day. They are so different from each other, that its easy to tell them apart even if they are dressed alike."

Buffy looked from one to the other. "Well which one is which now?"

Victoria looked at the girls and in less then a second knew which was which. "This one," she pointed to the baby who was in Buffy's right arm. "would be Angelica, because she keeps bouncing up and down. She's the one with extra energy."

A sudden sniff came from Angel. "What am I smelling?"

Steve took Angelica and Victoria took Angelique. They looked at each other and smiled. "What you're smelling is the need for changing their diapers. Maybe you two might get blessed with these little people. Would you like to do the honors?"

Buffy frowned on the outside but smiled on the inside. "I don't think so. If, and its a really big if, we have children I'll deal with it. But I'm gonna choose the carefree thing right now."

Vicky shook her head. She looked at her brother. "Angel?"

He shook his head profusely. "No way. I'm gonna have a hard time getting the stinch out now."

Steve and Vicky sat down on the floor on a blanket and began to change the children and talk at the same time. Buffy and Angel, with arms around each other watched as the wife and husband worked together.

"We're going villa hunting today," Vicky said as she began to strip Jelly's (Angelica) pants off.

"No, we aren't. I took care of it already," Steve said as reached in the bag for a diaper and the wipes.

"Really. Is it baby proof? And does it have a big yard and a big kitchen?" Victoria asked amazed that her husband had taken care of business so quickly, she took the wipe and began to wipe the baby's bottom, gently.

"Yes to all of the above. It's about three miles from here. I had everything brought over last week, so all we have to do is go in. And the maids were flown in last night. So we're gonna have the meeting in Sunnydale. I changed it to day instead of night. This being the Hellmouth and all. I'd feel better if they came during the day. And went home that day," Steve said as he spread the rash cream on Angelica's small rash.

Victoria nodded in approval as she applied the cream onto Angie's little rash. "I'll call Oscar and change it to an afternoon dress. Oh, and did they put the fountain in the middle like I asked them too?" she said holding the baby up by it's legs placing the diaper under the bottom. She looked around and found the powder and sprinkled it on the baby, then handed it to Steve.

"Yes. Oh, Jim just called me, he wanted to know if we would like to go to Paris the first week in September. I told him that I'd talk to you about it because I hate going anywhere without you," Steve said looking at his wife tenderly.

"I do to. Yeah, I think we're both available. No! We can't we're supposed to be going to Milan. Howard is on my back about not getting on yours about going to headquarters so you can get info on Rasputin. I think the crystal was hidden with his leg but I swear I saw an arm being dug up somewhere." She pulled the light blue pants up on Angie's and went in the bag to reach for two cups. She got up and went in the fridge and got the juice out. "By the way the Miller's called me last night. They want to know if you'll hold of on the AT&T trade until next week. PNC is giving them problems and they want to clear that up first."

She came back over a handed Steve the cup to give to Jelly. Picking her up he sighed. "Fine. You know what? I've decided to go into the business with Bill Gates. I mean he's kind of rich but I figure if he's going to borrow loans from us then we need to get into the action too."

Making smiley faces at Angelique, she nodded. "I know. Especially since you and I sold the computer idea to him. I shouldn't have, but fifty-million dollars was good enough. That brought our total up to two-hundred billion. Did you transfer medical documents to our physician here? The kids' check up is next week. You have it in your book already."

Steve nodded. "I had them transferred Monday morning. You know I like things getting done at the beginning of the business week." And as if they timed it, the toddlers took the cups out of their mouths and handed it to either parent.

"Steven I just realized something. The children are wearing diapers. Why are they wearing diapers?" Steven smiled.

"I accidentally had all of their underwear and things shipped to the house. I had to run out and buy diapers. It's only been one day because I shipped it out yesterday."

"Good. I'm going to get dressed why don't you take the kids home and I'll be there in about thirty minutes."

Steve got up with the kids and unfolded the stroller. "Don't panic if you don't see your car around the corner. I drove it to the villa. Call my cell, and I'll have the limo pick you up."

Buffy and Angel just looked on in shock. All that talk and all of the business dealings, reminders, and everything else, had fit into a minute and a half in diaper changing and a quick drink. They had this thing down pat. Buffy finally said something. "So do you guys usually fit in a whole hours worth of conversation into 3 minutes, or are you just trying to impress us?"

Steve laughed. "No, we usually do. We sound busy all the time, but we aren't really. But there is a lot to do when you have a family plus a work life."

Vicky joined her husband leaning against his chest. "We spend so much time together, that it hurts physically, at times to be even three feet away from each other."

Steven kissed her nose lightly trying with all his heart to pull apart. He knew that the visit to Sunnydale would be emotionally hard for her. He loved her so much that he couldn't imagine living life without her. Even if he tried. "I'm gonna go," he whispered in her ear.

Victoria smiled. "Okay. I'll see you at home. Maybe we can use those new handcuffs you brought," she whispered back so Buffy and Angel couldn't hear what she was saying.

She hugged both children good bye and closed the door. "So that's Steven," Buffy said smiling as she saw the look on Vicky's face.

"Yeah, isn't he gorgeous? With those beautiful blue eyes and . . .I could go on forever."

Buffy looked into outer space. "He certainly is easy to notice." Angel coughed and gave a little glare.

He looked at his sister who was making her way over to him. She pulled him into a warm embrace. "Don't leave Sunnydale. You have good reasons to stay now. Lot of vampires. Nice town, in the daytime at least. And me and Buffy and the gang you met in the library." Victoria pulled away and looked in to her brother's eyes.

"I'll think about it. I'm in love with Philly though. We've been there for almost 100 years now. More vamps there then in Sunnydale, even with this as the hellmouth. And I have to talk to Steven about it. I just can't make the decision. I don't want my children to be uprooted either. Maybe we'll just have this as a summer house."

Angel nodded and looked at her with pleading eyes still. She turned and got her bag and ran to the bathroom. She didn't want to stay too long because she knew that her heart would melt. She took a quick shower brushed her teeth and changed. Coming out she saw Buffy and Angel sitting on the couch, ignoring the TV that was blasting, heavily making out. She smiled a little and shook her head. Yeah, they're gonna be together forever. "You guys, I'm leaving."

"Alright," a muffled voice coming from Angel as he and Buffy continued.

"Nice meeting you Buffy. I'll call you tonight." Angel made a goodbye motion with his hands and Buffy gave her a thumbs up. "Do you guys ever come up from air?" Ignoring her they continued and Vicky rolled her eyes and slipped out of the door.

Her eyes are warm and cold
All rapped into one
Always big and bold
Squinting in the sun

Coming into the door
She stops in a sudden notion
As you fall on your knees to the floor
Filled with emotion

Bridge:
Do you remember the times
When she called your name
Waiting to be held
You read her story rhymes
And told her things would be the same
I just feel like casting the spells

Chorus:
A vision of the deadly night
She comes, cause she wants you
She comes, cause she wants to taunt you
Through tears and frustration
And years of damnation
You're what she wanted
She's haunted

The memories of doubt
Are sweeping through your head
Don't know what it's all about
Just know that she's dead

You collapse in her arms
As she strokes your velvety hair
You feel her little charm
And the wind sweeps through the air

Bridge: II
So now she's here
And she wants the past
To be gone and gone for good
She melts away the fear
That is gone at last
And you cried as she stood..like

Chorus:
A vision of the deadly night
She comes, cause she wants you
She comes, cause she wants to taunt you
Through tears and frustration
And years of damnation
You feel like you've been taunted
She's haunted

Bridge III:
Feel the pain
That she brings
With her till the end
Through the rain
Her heart doth sing
Love that she cannot mend to pain

I don't want to cry
I just want to be this way forever
I've already tried
But I'm glad we're together

Chorus:
A vision of the deadly night
She comes, cause she wants you
She comes, cause she wants to taunt you
Through tears of frustration
And years of damnation
You're what she wanted
You feel like you've been taunted
Is it what she wanted?
You've been...Haunted
