A haunted world, where many have died. A blazing sun sterilizing the surface, frightening fragile Life into hiding underground. Do the ghosts that inhabit this planet also seek refuge from the terrible fire in the sky? Or do they inhabit the canyons and craters and not just the cool tunnels below? Do they haunt the Cybrids who infest the surface, the mechanical monstrosities that killed them? Or do they only seek to disturb our sleep as we live underground, afraid to breathe, afraid that those who took our loved ones from us will seek us out next?

The Cybrids seek to destroy this rebuilt colony, to snuff out our human "pollution" from this world that is probably best left to them anyway. The Ghosts defend us from these threats. But it is ironic that they take the name "Ghosts". Despite all the battles they've won against the Cybrids, despite their tactical prowess and knowledge that has protected us and kept most of us alive since this colony was founded, there is one thing at least the Ghosts cannot do.
