HISTORY

Torian was told he was born of an elven trollop and an influential human in the city of Tyr. He was raised in the streets and has learned to survive by any means possible. This included pick pocketing and banding with street gangs whenever he needed protection. He was not a strong whelp by any means but he was quick on his feet and more importantly, he was quick with his wits. He became the undercover leader of a small band letting others stronger than he be the visible head. This allowed him to have more freedom and never got him into trouble since he was never tied to any specific gang.

He became known in the thieving business as an artist and stopped pickpocketing after his psionic talents developed. He learned to concentrate in such a way so as to be able to "pass" through any barrier and thus was able to pierce any place or almost any place. He came to work more and more for a small but ambitious merchant house and developed an interesting relationship with the House's head officer who took a liking to him. He did increasing business for this house which included "fetching" special items or spying. In turn, the house head allowed him to partake in the lessons imparted by the resident psionic master in his house.

APPEARANCE

Torian is 5'10" and stringy looking. He has dirty blond hair, sharp cheekbones and features and penetrating brown eyes. He carries himself with a regal step and keeps himself meticulously clean at all times possible.

The half-elf has been doing well for himself and it shows in his clothing. Torian is a cocky young man and dresses like it. He wears a rich cloak, a loose fitting blouse, fine leather pants, held up by a belt with a bone buckle. The buckle and cloak are marked with House Malizik's symbol, a sharp-eyed roc's head.

PERSONALITY

Torian is a calculating young man who takes his time before committing himself to any action. The half-elf will research his work before doing it and this tactic has paid off so far; at least it has kept him alive.

He is very shrewd and reads people well. He is the diplomat and this is part of what made House Malizik take notice of his aptitudes. He is doing a lot of work for them and his relationship is straight at the top level with the head of the house. The old man has taking a liking to the half-elf and this has done much to increase Torian's self-esteem. This, however, has also brought some unexpected enemies from within the organization itself as many within regard him as an ambitious street whelp.

The half-elf does not know who his father or mother is but has been told that it was an influential man of Tyr and that subject is a sore spot in his past.

The thief has had a close call with undead in one of his outings and has developed a strong fear of necromancy. The half-elf has not been out of Tyr much except as part of an envoy for the merchant house.

He enjoys living it up and will spend money lavishly but is careful not to anger any of House Malizik, specially his mentor. The half-elf wants to some day take over the house but he knows that he has a lot of learning to do before that.
