KUNGA

HISTORY

Kunga was born into an elven tribe and his father is rumored to have been a noble of the city of Balic. His mother was allowed to keep him due to the harsh times the tribe was going through. He matured into a very capable hunter and was the envy of many true blood elves of the Water Seeker tribe. On one of his outings while still a young man, his mom died in an "accident" and at the same time a new leader came about. From that day on, luck changed for Kunga as he was pretty much run out from his tribe.

Since that faithful day he has been hiring himself out as a game hunter for eccentric nobles in the tablelands. His work included "fetches" for rare spell components, caravan guarding, and actual hunting. While doing these jobs he became quite skilled in Herbalism applied to poisons and in setting snares while using his already acquired ability to track. At the moment he is between jobs and is looking for a big job to make some money to last him a while.

APPEARANCE

Kunga has blond/white long hair which he keeps tied in a pony tail. His face is beardless as possible using the tools available at the time. He is about 6"2´ and is well built tending towards a lean wiry frame. He wears loose white clothing, a pair of pants just low of his knee and a loose fitting shirt. Around his waist he wears a "rope" belt where hangs his long sword and long knife. In his back is a travel pack and hang two water skins. He wears a dark, rectangular mica plate tied around his face by a leather thong that barely covers his eyes which was a "gift" from a past rival.

PERSONALITY

Kunga is a well natured young man who usually has a smile on his face. His humor is a bit on the dark side but is quick to offer an apology if anyone is offended. He tends to work alone when hunting but has associated himself in the past with small adventuring groups when needed. He will usually be wary of strangers but once the trust is built, he will stick his neck out for friends. He has heard rumors that his father was an important noble and will sometimes play out to be "Count Kunga" as he likes to call himself. He is right now travelling with a gerbil-like rodent which is his devotion and weakness and has been known to keep other animals as pets. He will stand out and free any animals that are being abused by their owner whenever possible. He will not hunt "natural" game for a prize no matter what. He has a habit of trying to stay clean all the time and will do so at first chance. He is quite skilled with a blowgun and darts which he smears with different types of poisons. Whenever hunting he likes to stalk his game and capture them alive.

Kunga is travelling with his pet " big gerbil" Jilly. He has taught Jilly very rudimentary tricks such as "Come, fetch, speak 1, and speak 2" He has not taught it to attack as Kunga likes to express "Jilly is my friend not my bodyguard, actually I defend her."

Kunga will sometimes establish long conversations with his pet and Jilly (who knows why) seems to listen to intently. The tricks that Jilly performs are started either by word or by slight, almost hidden, hand gestures. A favorite trick of Kunga is to impress strangers by asking Jilly questions and having Jilly answer Yes (Speak 1) or No (Speak 2). The gerro is easily frightened and will take off at top speed to escape whatever danger. She will usually wonder back after a while. Kunga will not Jilly into a city state but will usually take up with her when he leaves (so far at least).
