The earth is threatened as an unknown phenomenon of unlimited size and tremendous power is approaching,
destroying everything, from klingon heavy cruisers to starbases, in its way to earth. The U.S.S.
Enterprise is the only ship available and capable to counter this threat but it is still docked after a refit. Captain Decker, the Enterprise's new captain
prepares his ship and his crew to face this threat, the previous Enterprise captain, the Admiral James T. Kirk
takes command of the Enterprise and intercept the phenomenon.
. But it has been three years since Kirk last commanded the Enterprise,
is he capable of commanding the ship and saving the Earth?
