Am I the only one who's drawn a parallel between the X-Files and "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland"? I mean, someone else must have noticed it. Swimming with rodents, shadowy political figures, strange smokers, and the implied corruption of children, "Alice" is a precursor to all that is X. Don't believe me? Look no further for proof!
"I'm late! I'm late! And the Date has been set!!!"
"And yet I wish I could show you our cat Dana: I think you'd take a fancy to cats if you could only see her."
"Don't threaten me, Alice. I've watched presidents die."
More perversion of children's classics coming soon, I promise!
Disclaimer: I don't own the X-Files OR Alice in Wonderland. The original Alice illustrations are by John Tenniel. I only WISH I drew them.
Okay, enough of this foolishness! Let's go home.
