Bio
Bart Allen is nothing like your average teenager. Sure he's got a short attention span and at constant odds with his family but, Bart can run around the world in a matter of minutes! Born in the distant future, Bart's super-speed powers were evident from the first day that he could move! However, those same powers were aging the infant speedster at an accelerated rate. He was placed into a virtual reality world and eventually sent to the past to learn control of his powers.
When Bart arrived in the past, he was sent to the era's speed experts, Max Mercury and The Flash to learn control. Unfortunately, they died shortly after Bart's arrival and also like most teens, Bart rebelled agianst his adoptive parents. Bart would break into video arcades and other manner of illeagle activity to keep the attention of his friends. This also brought him to the attention of StormWatch director, Weather Man One. The WeatherMan took in Bart and code named him Impulse, putting the speedster into the Academy program.
Eventually, StormWatch fell and Bart was kidnapped by the Ministry of Population. A group that was bent on the destruction of mutants. Bart would later be saved, by his old teammates in a new group. Although, his time with the Ministry forced many changes on the man. Now, about 25 years old, bart has gained more control over his powers then ever and finally a cure to his long time curse. His powers no longer killing, Bart is now ready to start on the next chapter of his life.
Becoming a police officer.
A story from the easier days with the StormWatch Academy. Just a quiet and average day for the young Speedster and a peek into his mind. This was my attemtp at a 'silent story' without real pictures.
This story takes place at the hospital that Bart is places into in the aftermath of the assault on the Crimson Shadow and the battle with their leader, Godd. Bart was injured during that fight. The injury was critical in the kidnapping storyline since it would explain away why Bart was using his powers.
The story that sets up Bart's kidnapping at the hands of the Ministry of Population. This takes place directly after waking. Before the end of the story, Bart is replaces by CopyCat. She takes his place for many months before his teammates find him on their mission to destroy the Ministry.
