He's sprung by Deadpool, who's been hired by a mysterious source to get the shards. Meanwhile, the Shade's computer starts beeping, alerting Hotshot to the shard's joining. Turns out they're pieces of the lense that was destroyed. They are what brought GIJoe and Cobra to their world. Goth is a Goth. During the battle, Thanos gets the last shard, and thinks he's won. Unfortunately he is taken by surprise when Takhisis shows up, and begins battling him for the lens. The X-Tremes get a call from a record label wanting to sign them. The X-Tremes appear at their base, along with Deadpool, but the heroes and villains from the other worlds are gone. Fizbin appears before them and explains that when the lens was destroyed, it sent everyone back where they belonged. He congratulates them all on a job well done and gives them a glimpse of the future they have, and will continue to help create.
