The International Space Station
March 20th, 2001

Hello, everyone. (Hello from the International Space Station. Bill & I are orbiting at 154 miles above the Earth right now. {Floating away} Weeeee!) Yes it is true. Reggie and I stowed away aboard Space Shuttle Discovery. (Man that Leonardo Module was uncomfortable!) We are here today aboard the ISS to explore a brand new module. (Yes, this new module is attached to the end of the Zvezda Service Module. It is called the Boyds Stowage Module, or as it is known by the Expedition Two crew as the “F.O.B.” Module.) See here on the ISS, astronauts and cosmonauts alike were having trouble displaying their resin and plush Boyds properly. Therefore, the brilliant minds at NASA, Rosivakosmos, ESA, and Boyds LTD came up with the idea for the F.O.B. Module. (It was designed and built in total utter secrecy, except for me and Bill, in the new NASA facility in Gettysburg, PA! They are calling the new center the Head Bean Space and Whimsical Development Center!) The F.O.B. has forty display racks on which 30 pieces or 15 plush animals can be displayed. (So no matter how many Boyds plush or resins are delivered to the station, there is plenty of room! Grrooovy! {Floating and flipping}) Well we are having a blast up here. Nevertheless, it is time to get home. Reggie say good-bye to Yury and let’s get back in the shuttle. (Uh, Bill the shuttle has left already.) What! (Well… it left about four hours ago.) When does the next one arrive? (Two months.) Why did you not tell me they were leaving? (Because it is awesome up here and I just love hanging out with Yury he is grrrovy, yeah!) Well I guess we will write when we can. Say good-bye Reggie. (Bye you lovely Boyds folks!) Good-bye everyone, from up here at the International Space Station!
