A Boyds Halloween
November 1st, 2000

Hello all. (Hey guys) Well Reggie's second Halloween is over. Though Reggie thought it would be nice if he told you of his Halloween last night. (Yeah it was scary. Abdul, Redmond, Bandit, & I went out trick-or-treating last night. I will tell you of our adventure.)

Well Bill thought it would be fun if well all got dressed up for Halloween again this year. Therefore, we did. There we stood, Bill as Arthur with red scarf (kewl outfit), Abdul as Lawrence of Arabia, Bandit as Johnny Carson, Redmond as Barry White, and me in my Head Bean outfit (man the mustache was itchy). We awaited the coming of the night in the only way we knew how. "Gin!" We also discovered that there is nothing more annoying than a camel that is good at Gin.

Hour 1
We departed our abode for candy goodness ahead. We lit the gary-o-latern before we left. And said good-bye to Shannon. The night was cool and spooky, and spooky and cool. (Sounds repetitive) The streets were empty, and the five of us were alone (hence the streets being empty). We walked up to the first house in trepidation. "Ding Dong", the door slowly opened and we saw the most horrid sight. A house full of COTTAGE COLLECTIBLES! We ran in fear. ARRGGGHHHH!

Hour 2
After a few minutes, we regained our exposure and braved the second house. Redmond had to replace his Barry White Afro, since it was lost when we ran from the house of Cottage. Luckily, he found a loose dry hairball.

We started towards the second house. "DING DONG", the door slowly opened, revealing a tall Lerch-like fellow. "You rang," he said in a Mickey Mouse voice. Bill and I looked at each other in confusion. "Trick or treat", we called out. "Trick." Puzzled I thought quickly. "Okay watch the Camel" Waving my hands over Abdul gently. "You may think that this is just a normal... camel. Nevertheless, you are wrong. This Camel can do things you could only imagine. Abra cad bra!" A large plum of smoke arose and as it cleared Abdul had mounted Bandit's back. "A ha! A raccoon riding camel! Bet you never seen that trick before!" " Hey oh this hurts," complained Bandit. "Ole chap I must disagree I am not that heavy," replied Abdul. "Must have been all that water!"

I looked back at the Lerch-alike. So, do we get candy? "I offer you the secret of life instead." "No I think we would rather have candy," I replied. Everyone then nodded in agreement. "Your choice." He deposited fifteen snickers in our bags and we were off.

Hour 3
This by far was the scariest hour. We had finished off around 3,984,845 houses by this time, and we were tired. We decided to trot on home. As we reached the house, we realized that we had forgotten to get our candy corn for Shannon. We rushed through our bags. None. Well we looked at each other. We knew we were all dead.

I could go into more detail. However, you probably get the idea. Shannon was not only peeved, she was down right mad. Well her reaction was definitely the scariest thing we saw al night. Well I have to go now and take Bill his dinner. Shannon is making him sleep out on the balcony for the rest of the week. She said, "If he can't remember to get me candy corn. I can't remember to unlock the door for him." Bummer, Bill.
