About Boris Karloff
Boris Karloff, originally named William Henry Pratt, was
Universal's second casting choice for 'Frankenstein.' Expanding
on his brilliant interpretation in that film, he followed up
with 'The Bride of Frankenstein,' which many regard as superior
to its predecessor.
Karloff reigned as King of horror into the 1960's, making
the transition to television (including the 'Thriller' series) after dozens
of high-quality horror on film.
