Short stories.
Alone at 3 a.m. The 7th Doctor contemplates his new form, and decides to change his behaviour.
Hello, Old Friend. The Doctor meets a man named Morden on a space station, all alone in the night... Nominated in the Adric awards.
Tears in Rain. The last Doctor Who story ever.
Dreamers Often Lie. The Doctor and Sam Jones attend an unforgettable production of a classic Shakespearean tragedy. Currently in the running for an Adric award, and no, I didn't nominate myself!
Matrix. The forgotten companions of Doctor Who find a new champion...
Ends of the Earth. Earth's last hope rests on the eighth Doctor and a man who turns out not to be from Guildford after all. Are they the type to stick it out, or will they nip off for a quiet drink instead?
Filks
Master. A really silly filk of the 'Dentist' song from Little Shop of Horrors. The Master discusses how he came to find his vocation as an ineffectual maniac.
Simon and Garfilkel. A vaguely serious filk of the classic 'The Boxer'. Quite a few of the words remain the same, but I wrote an extra two lines to cover the instrumentals, so I think we're about even.
The drabble pages…
Pastiche drabbles. If you've found some of the above to be not entirely serious, here's Doctor Who in the style of Austin Powers, Monty Python and South Park. All in easy to swallow doses of 100 words each.
Crossover drabbles. The Doctor has never seemed to have much to do with Babylon 5, compared with, say, the Star Trek universe, where he seems to be on first name terms with every crew member from every series. Again in 100-word doses, the Doctor bumps into or irritates a few of the characters…
If you have enjoyed these pieces, why not visit:
I've got a few things archived there, but the main attraction is all the other people who have contributed to the alt.drwho.creative newsgroup over the years. There's a huge amount of drabbles, short stories, filks, even full-length novels!
Or you could go back to the villa while you think about it...
And sign the guest book and let me know what you think! Or just see what other people wrote.
