A selfportrait originally done in pen. Scanned it, threw it in photoshop, played with the levels, and came out with this. I think this one actually kind of looks like me. To be fair though, before I played with the levels, it did not look much like me. Which is sad, because I was looking at a picture Angela took of me. The original (mostly) unaltered by photoshop image is below.
Just to see what would happen, I worked a little more on the drawing. I darkened some areas to see if I could replicate the results I produced after playing with the levels in photoshop. Later on I experimented with adding in the neck and shirt, but I couldn't find a pen within arms reach, so I used a pencil. The image below is probably the final version of the drawing.
