[Intro.]
[Commercial Break.]
[High above Tokyo in a mysterious room. Four women and one man appear from some
mirrors. Each has a dark crescent moon their forehead with the open end facing
down.]
Rubeus: Hmm...
Catsy: So, Rubeus, is this town really the old city of Tokyo?
Rubeus: Yeah... puny little place, isn't it? Thought it'd be a lot bigger...
Catsy: But I bet it has some good shopping. How 'bout I go out for a quick tube of
lipstick?
Rubeus: You already got forty different shades!
Catsy: A girl can never have enough lipstick.
Birdy: Lighten up, Rubeus. Let us have one spree-- you know we always bring back
something for you...
Rubeus: You sisters, such shop-aholics, but I'm afraid shopping will have to wait
'till we can catch our prey.
[Zooming out from the floating structure above Tokyo.]
[On the lake. Serena and Darian are in a rowboat. Darian is holding the oars. Both
are staring out across the lake.]
Serena: Oh, Darian, isn't this beautiful? Oh, whenever I'm with you I feel like I'm
in a dream.
Darian: Yeah... ditto.
[At the dock. Darian helps Serena out of the boat.]
Darian: How 'boat a triple hot-fudge sundae?
Serena: Yummy... a... oh!
[Serena trips face first into Darian. She looks up, blushing.]
Darian: What a klutz!... ha, ha, ha-- but you're my klutz.
Serena: Oh, Darian, do you really mean it?
Darian: Of course, meat-ball head.
Serena: [thinking] I love it when you call me that!
[Serena and Darian begin kissing.]
Serena: Mmm, mmm... mmm...
Darian: [mumbling] Serena? You been eating that... sticky caramel... bubble-gum?
Serena: Mmm-hmm... why?
Darian: 'Cause I think I might be stuck.
Serena: Oh...
Darian: That stuff's...
[A round ball that looks like a cat falls on Darian's head.]
Darian: ...worse than cement.
[Serena giggles. Darian opens his eyes and looks at the ball on the ground. A cloud
forms overhead. There's an explosion of light. Serena and Darian stop kissing.]
Darian: Ahh...
[Someone screams. A little girl falls out of the sky and hits Serena on the head.
Serena groans as she hits the deck. The girl ends up with her lips pressing against
Darian's. Darian falls and hits the deck.]
Darian: Whoa!... Serena? A little help here.
[Serena looks flustered.]
Serena: Huh?...
Darian: Where'd you fall from?... a plane?
Serena: Hey, what'd ya' think you're doing? Get your paws off my
boyfriend.
[Renie pulls away. They don't look like they're kissing anymore. A gold, jeweled
key hangs around Renie's neck.]
Renie: Sorry, sir-- didn't mean to land on ya'.
Serena: Hey kid, your parents ever teach you manners? You just can't go around
jumping on people like that.
[Renie turns her head towards Serena and glares at her.]
Serena: Hey!... you look like me... A-and that's my hair-style!
Renie: It's my mom's hair-style.
[Darian gasps.]
Serena: What'd you say?
Renie: Just forget it, lady.
[Renie stands up.]
Renie: I don't have time to wait. Just give me the Silver Crystal.
Serena: Excuse me! Who do you think you are, talking to me like that, and what do
you know about the Silver Crystal?
[Renie's eyes widen.]
Renie: I know all about the Emperium Silver Crystal.
[Renie's Luna Ball rises up behind Serena.]
Renie: I want that crystal know, understand?!... So just hand it over, lady!
Darian: Hey!
Renie: Hmm?
Darian: Hey little girl, can we help you find your parents? You lost or something?
Renie: Can it, lover-boy! This is none of your business-- so keep your nose out of
it. Now... the last time, I'm asking you to give me the crystal.
Serena: Who are you,and where are you from?
Renie: Fine. I have other ways of getting what I want.
[Renie jump up into the air doing a somersault.]
Renie: See ya'!
[Renie enters into the same weird cloud she appeared from and disappears in a
brilliant flash of light.]
[Hallway outside Serena's room. Serena is walking toward her room. She looks tired.]
Serena: Uh!... okay, maybe if I catch a few z's, I wake up... and find out the whole
thing was jus-st a terrible... nightmare. Oh...
[Serena enters her room. She screams very loudly. Then she runs down the stairs
very quickly.]
Serena: Sammy!! Your toast!
[Living room. Sammy and Serena's father are there. Serena's father was reading the
newspaper. Serena arrives. She appears very angry and very upset.]
Serena's father: Serena, calm down-- you look like a hyperventilating hyena.
Serena: What did you do to my bedroom?!
[Momentary screen shot of Serena's "destroyed" room.]
Serena: It looks like ground zero! How many times... have I told you to stay out of my
room!?
Sammy: You're bustin' my eardrums!
Serena: That's not all I'm going to bust! Huh?
[Serena spots Renie's Luna Ball, and it moves behind Sammy. Serena looks surprised.
Then Renie appears from behind Sammy holding her ball.]
Serena: What? What is she doing her?
[Flashback: The park. Serena and Darian are sitting on a park bench discussing the
mysterious little girl.]
Serena: Where to you think she's from, Darian?
Darian: I don't know. The Negaverse?... but that mop of hair is so much like yours.
Maybe she is a part of your family, Serena.
Serena: My family?
Darian: ...From the Moon Kingdom. Your past.
[End flashback.]
[Living room. Sammy, Serena, Renie, and Serena's father are still there. Serena's
mother arrives carrying food on a tray.]
Serena's mother: I expect you to clean your room, Serena, 'cause we got company
coming.
[Serena temper explodes.]
Serena: Ooo...! Someone please tell me what is she doing here!! Huh?! Huh!?
[Everyone stares at Serena.]
Serena: Just who is she!?
Serena's father: Serena, don't tell me you don't remember.
Sammy: Yeah, brainiac, this is our cousin Renie.
Serena: ...And since when do we have a cousin named Renie!?
Sammy: You're such an airhead. She came for a visit last year. She stayed for two
weeks, remember?
[Serena is shown a book of photographs. The photos show Serena, Sammy, Serena's mother,
Serena's Father, and Renie doing different things are having a fun time together.]
Sammy: Renie even brought her pictures.
Serena: I... I don't remember any of this.
Sammy: I knew you were a ditz Serena, but this is unreal.
Serena: Oohhh...! Is it the world that's going bonkers or is it me!?
Ehh...Ohh!
Serena's mother: It's you, dear-- go take a nap.
[Serena moans.]
Renie: Yeah, then we can get together and catch up.
[Renie giggles.]
Serena: [thinking] Catsup!?... yeah! yeah!! That's what I'll turn you into, you
little...!
[Luna is by Serena's side.]
Luna: Ahem!
