If I could ask one question to Chris Carter (The creater of the X-Files) I would ask him this. Why does every episode try to kill Mulder or Scully and why haven't they ever solved a case?
There have been a lot of X-file episodes that end up with Mulder or Scully nearly dieing and they have never solved a case. You would think that after about 150 cases and not one solved they would get reassigned or fired, but then again that would cancel the series.
I'm not saying I dislike the X-Files to tell you the truth I love the X-Files. I haven't missed one since the beginning of the second season.My whole family with the exception of my mother watches it every Sunday at 9:00PM on Fox.
If I had a favorite X-File episode I would have to say Hum-Bug would be it. If your not familiar with the X-Files "Code Names" Hum Bug was the episode with the freak show and the Feigi Mermaid. Did you know that Gillian Anderson (Dana Scully) actually ate about a dozen of those stupid little bugs because she didn't know how to "Palm" them.
If your not familiar with the X-files at all you don't know what your missing. Presently (When I wrote this Page) Scully is dieing of a type of Nasial Cancer caused by her Abduction with either Goverment "Black Men" or abduction by Aliens. I believe Mr. Carter will take the earlier of the two. Just to make the show a little more realistic (Sorry to say this but Its not realistic).
Oh one more thing. For you Die Hard X-Philes out there. There is NO such thing as the X-Files. It was created from the mind of Chris Carter. My uncle who records every show still thinks there is a real X-Files in the FBI but I keep telling him it doesn't exsist. He just tells me that the FBI denies it and they work using the cover of night. Reality Check People Why would the FBI deny something like that its almost like denying that the U.S. Department of Transportation doesn't exsist. If it did exsist the government would Deny Everything A standard CIA tactic.
The really weird thing about the FBI is that it was created by a cross-dressing middle-age male who was really paranoid of Commies. This man's name was J. Edgar Hoover (not to be mistaken for the Hoover Vacum cleaner) the late Mr. Hoover created the FBI to elliminate all crime doers. His prime target was Public Enemy Number One Al Capone.
