If you give the maze to hamsters to play in, then you should be satisfied. But, if you give it to them as a home, then beware! The hamster will start urinating in one of the maze dead-ends making the whole maze stink. Let's admit it, the maze is hot for habitation and moisture usually forms on its inside clear surface (especially when the hamster pulls in wood shavings and decides to bunk for the night). You might even hear hamsters chewing on the walls to expand the place, but the interior plastic walls are very durable.
If you also thought that hamsters will get hopelessly lost in the maze - think again. The hamsters are experts in finding their way around especially after leaving their scent around.
There are two designs - the normal Maze and the Safari Maze. If I remember correctly, there is no difference between the maze patterns other than the color of the base and connectors.
