In 2373 USS Voyager encountered a Mislenian named Chardis whose freighter had been attacked after the ship strayed into the space of an unknown alien race that did not tolerate intruders. Before dying Chardis asked Voyager to inform his planet of the existence of this aggressive race. Mislen was five parsecs away from the position where Chardis' freighter had been attacked.
