In 2371 Lt. Commander Chakotay and Lieutenant Tuvok meet with the Ilidarians to conduct a trade mission. Following the completion of their mission, the two boarded their shuttle and set course for a rendezvous point with Voyager.
The inhabitants of Ilidaria are known as being technologically advanced and relatively friendly. USS Voyager was within three light years of the planet in 2371 when she became temporarily trapped within a quantum singularity.
