As if it were just that easy.

The problem is, there are easily as many theories as there are ufologists in this field. If we were to try and cover even some of the better-known theories in modern ufology, we'd have very little time for anything else.

So then I thought to myself 'hey, these guys put forward theories all the time, so why not leave it up to them.' The result is Forum. A page that will offer you the reader a chance to have your views, opinions and research placed on the Web for the world to see. Unlike our occasionally-abused BBS, we at the Reporter hold the right to decide what gets posted on the page and what does not. So say goodbye to HoaxerJ and his ilk! Here is a page for the truly serious, just as many of you have asked for.

Topics can be anything having to do with UFOs, including MIBs, Area 51, Government Cover-ups, Gray Experiments, Cydonia, Crop Circles, recent television videos (we get a lot of BBS activity on these), Roswell, Cattle Mutilations and Gulf Breeze.

We realize that we may well have opened up a Pandora's Box here, so I will take the time to establish some ground rules to help this page be all it can be. This will include:

• Well-written, thought out works by amateur ufologists who have a theory they wish to share with the world. All theories must be original, though they can be based on existing theories by renown ufologists certainly.
• Submissions must be completely proofed and spell-checked. We do not assume this is an "on the fly" submission like the BBS. We expect submissions will be completed on the computers of the respective ufologist before he she or it even dials on to the Web to send it to us. This is not a page for rush jobs! Take your time and do it well. The page is here and is not going anywhere.
• In this spirit, this page will post only original ideas and theories. This is not a page for experiences, advertisements for other Web sites and messages. We have other places on our site for these types of inputs and inquiries.
• Simply put, quality over quantity.
• Authors are expected to keep to one subject at a time. No rambling from one topic to another. If you have several theories (and who doesn't) write several pieces, one for each topic.
• Submissions are to be sent to our hotmail account as attachments, saved as text. HTML coding is desired but not required. Please mention in the email that the attached submission is for Forum. Otherwise, we will assume it is for our encounters online.
• For now, there will be no pictures. This is a text-heavy page as it stands. This will probably change in time, but for now props like photos and charts will have to wait.
• And finally, we will be requiring full names and emails which will be posted with the works. I know this goes against our policy of anonymity, but we expect anyone serious enough to write out a thesis to stand behind their work. We feel that is only fair. Besides, we want others to be able to reach you if they have anything to say about your piece. Free exchange of ideas is what we are all about.

Well, now that that is out of the way, get crankin' on those theories!
