The body of Spawn Valdez is a Battleclad Spawn painted black with grey
decorations. The skull on his belt as well as his hat are made from Super Sculpey. His
“Burro Diablo” is a donkey figurine from a store in Portland called the Imaginarium. I
painted him black with the trademark Spawn “facial design”. His spike collar is made
from Super Sculpey.
The Coffee bags attached to Burro Diablo are actually made from burlap. I painted the
Spawn logo onto the peices and sewed them together, flipped them inside out, and
attached them to his flanks. The bags actually took me several attempts. In order to
prevent the burlap from fraying beyond repair, I had to hot glue the seams with a thick
layer of glue and then turn the bags inside out.
My reason for entering the contest is that the winner recieves the only
prize.
