The Reshtarc Expiditionary Force (REF) was instituted by joHwI' Marrik epitai-Reshtarc in 2373. Its purpose was to form a primary strikeforce for use against the Reshtarcs enemies, both witnin and without the Empire. The commmand of this auspicious unit was given to Marriks joH's close friend and ally, Captain K'joH, who was also commander of the Reshtarc Lines Flagship, the IRV Stormbringer.
The REF is based in the Irriani Expanse, on Mobile Repair Station REF 1 which provides a secure base of operations for the unit.
Under command of Captain K'joH, the REF has seen action in the Triangle against the IKS and Dominion, and also particapated in several police actions within Imperial Borders.
