Waiter, Waiter

Cast:

    Friend one
    Friend two
    Waiter

Props:

Two cups with water in them.

Notes:

Do this one last so you can make good your escape. You don't want to face your audience again after this one. You'll need a volunteer from the audience. And don't pick small children, little old ladies, or big bruisers with bad tempers for the volunteer.

The scene: The volunteer is on hands and knees in the middle of the stage, being a table.

The two friends enter and sit at the table.

Friend one: Waiter, Waiter!

The waiter comes on, carrying two cups of water. He sets the cups down on the table.

Friend two: (to the waiter) Hey, I haven't seen you in a long time, I didn't know you were working here!

Waiter: Hi! I haven't worked here long. How are you two doing?

Friend one: Just great! Hey, when do you get off?

Waiter: In just a minute actually.

Friend one: That's great! How about we go see a movie or something?

Waiter: Sounds like a good idea, let'go.

The three get up, leaving the table with the drinks still on it behind. (Now it's up to the audience what happens next because if you're smart, you're on your way home.)
