Thank God there is someone out there that still knows the need for insanity! Most of us see the world through something called “common sense” or just plain sense as some call it. Well, if all you believe in is “common” sense, than your just superstitious, I just do not feel like I can put it a better way. There are actually all kinds of sense and “common sense tends to change through time (In the middle ages, what we call “superstition” now was “common sense” then). I would like to touch on “un-common sense” in this article. For example, when you are walking in the forest alone and you see a puddle coming up ahead in your path, now we all know what will happen when you physically make contact with that puddle according to common sense. But here is what else could happen if you do not have only common sense: You could step into that puddle and sink right into the reflection! Not only that but once you have sunk into the reflection you may sink out of another puddle’s reflection! Shocked? Skeptical? Try it, let your mind go beyond the confines of common sense, do not forget common sense, just stop believing in it as the only kind of sense, stop thinking of it as absolute law, you will find that with practice or maybe even no practice, you can go into a puddle’s reflection! When you step in that puddle any number of things could happen, partially based on what you believe will happen. You may even be able to walk on the puddles surface, how do you think Jesus did it, yeah he understood physical laws, but I think he also understood the fluidity of this dream. And this puddle thing is just one of the many things we take for granted by believing only common sense, there are so many other things. The possibilities are infinite! Our reality is really so malleable, we just don’t realize it. This world is like a dream in part. In a dream, all sorts of non-sensical things happen, but many times we do not think of them as nonsense until we wake up. The truth is everything is true. And what about time? Heroine users have experienced years, life times, in just one nights sleep, it is a fact, I am not making this up! Time is relative, we make up at least half of time. Look at a hand on a clock, watch it move, you can change your conception of time to make it seem that the same hand takes different amounts of time to move to one more minute, hour, or second. You don’t need drugs to do this, you can learn to do it, or you may know how to do it now, maybe you never forgot. You can time travel merely by thinking, or you could forget time and live in the eternal moment that spans all time and transcends all time or you can just live in the moment or some moment in the past or future, moments can last varying amounts of time. And space, once you open your mind things much mor insaner than relativity start popping into your mind about space. Some days are just dreams. Here is an example of everyday weird occurrences that you have probably experienced: As soon as you get up in the morning you think your somewhere and someone else, but this clears up after a couple of seconds and you remember your so called “real” life. As you walk down the hall to get some breakfast, you think, “what should I wear today?”. You eat your breakfast and go into your closet and your shirt with a picture of a butterfly on it just happens to be right there, so you wear that. You go outside you notice the butterflies flying about and they seem to be following you, just a coincidence, right? As your walking down the road to meet your friend to go shopping you see something out of the corner of your eye so you turn to see some little kid standing about ten feet behind you doing nothing, just like any other kid, but there is something that stands out about them, you ignore it though and go on. You meet your friend and you go shopping, while your shopping you see that little kid in the mall again, alone in the crowd, standing there. Just a coincidence again. When you get out of the mall your friend spots a new shop, you look to were she’s pointing...it’s called The Butterfly Shop...be scared now. Well you finally get home and while your sitting on your couch watching TV you think” Gee, I sure wish my other friend Joe was here, but he’s on vacation”, as soon as you think that a news report comes on about vacationing prices and the phone rings, it’s Joe. You think, that’s strange, and as soon as you think that the news lady says “This weather sure is strange for this time of year”. Your really scared now, you tell Joe to call later, and you go outside in the evening to relax and have some tea, as your sitting outside you see that little kid again, she’s outside in a field of grass playing with butterflies- You have to admit it, strange things happen like this to you all the time, maybe not all at once, but they happen. Now you may be thinking that this is ignorant, childish, thinking. You ever noticed how much fun it was to be a child? There are so many things waiting out there for you once you break free from common sense alone, You don’t get bored, because there is always something to do; You can chat with trees, plants, fairies, animals, planets, the universe, God, dead people, people that are not alive yet, anyone. You can go anywere, thought your backyard was boring? you will find that that little puddle of water that occasionally culminates out there IS ACTUALLY A PORTAL TO DIFFERENT DIMENSIONS AND PLACES! You can use puddles to either go into or look into other places and your own mind. And You know things look very different if you shrink yourself to the size of an ant. You can make up your own world, and you will find that no matter how strange it is, it really exists. You can even time travel in ways you probably have not even thought of before! Soon you will discover that ignorance is fun! I mean that thing that is neither ignorance nor knowledge, that kind of caring that is between not giving a care and caring, the kind of action that is nonaction. If you have experienced this you know exactly what I’m talking about, that feeling that nothing matters, but everything matters. I am not saying to loose touch with what is called “the real world”, just expand your world view. Close mindness is boring for some, you have to be ready to believe everything before you cannot believe something, I think. Once you open your mind, life is exiting again, weird concepts will just come up in your mind, weird, mind boggling, beautiful concepts, and they just won’t be concepts, they will actually make just as much sense as any concept you have ever had; You just won’t “think” that you can sink into a puddles reflection, you will “know” you can sink into a puddles reflection! But don’t stop once you have acquired a sense of uncommon sense, if you stick to the belief that you will fall into the puddles reflection, and that is all that could possibly happen, you will be just as bored as before! You have to keep your mind open to keep boredom away. Opening your mind will bring wonder and meaning back into your life. Some people are happy following only common sense, and that is fine as long as you are happy with it, but if you are not happy following just one kind of sense, than become a child, open your mind, have fun! PRAISE GAZUGA!!!!

I really like your novel. I've been reading it in my spare time between classes, and just recently finished the completed section. You might want to run the first chapters through a spell check though, and maybe use a thesaurus a little more. The latte chapters were pretty cleaned up, though. I liked it a lot. I can't wait until Serali starts plotting (?-wrong word, maybe "planning" ?) how to get revenge on the red-gold. She does not know how to fight as well as he, and she's much younger/smaller. ut she does know magic. So she has to plan a bit. I'll be looking foward to it. I also like your drawings.
