Her memorial Card.
Prayer on the back...of the memorial card.
A friend of mine passed away yet again. All that I can feel is sadness...here is the poem I wrote about this one..
Canticle of Friendship
Yesterday you won the battle,
no more fighting, no more pain.
I can only imagine what you are feeling.
I know you are happy.
Alexis and you together again.
Isn't it how you wanted it in the end?
Your corporeal battle has ended.
You won. Only you can say it.
The feelings I feel are not of sadness but more of shock.
You were the sunlight in the day, the twinkle at night.
You are now in the reign of pure love.
Your sunlight and twinkle shall never fade away.
Today has come, the remnants are left here, where evil lies.
We shall protect them, we shall abolish it.
Sin and evil no more.
We can only compare to you.
Your love and caring heart will live on inside of us.
Lisa thank you for being a friend.
Protect us with Alexis each and every day.
Everytime I see the sun or the stars I know that you are sitting amongst the elders smiling down on us.
Please remember her in your prayers and thoughts....a little more about the memorial and a picture or two..:
