With a bit of luck I should have some actual pictures of the land
the orchard will cover soon. I have been making some good progress
with it, and I am now ready to start planting. (Fingers Crossed)
My plot now contains:
75 natives, mostly stringybarks, and scribbly gums, with some wattles.
3 Black Walnut
3 Apricots
3 Apples ( Red Granny Smith, Granny Smith, Delicious)
3 Hazelnuts
90 Pinus Radiata Seedlings (cows ate 10)
10 Box elder seedlings
5 Red Maple seedlings
2 Liquidamber seedlings
3 Poplar suckers
1 Oak Seedling
and 4 Loganberry cuttings.
I am getting into vegetative reproduction from hardwood cuttings,
and should have some Elms and more poplars from this by spring.
