For you new bunny owners, or you bunnies whos pet people need to know how to take care of you, here's a list of Bunny Stuff you need to know. This list was put together by my mommy, and has a lot of good information concerning feeding and health requirements for us. By the way, mommy and daddy have long since broken up and I live with my daddy now. Don't worry, I have him trained very well!!
One other thing many people may not know, is that we bunnies are NOT considered to be of the rodent family. Scientists use to clasify us as rodents because of our teeth, and our need to chew, but that has been changed for many reasons. One of which is that Rodents are omnivores (they eat both meat and vegetable), while we rabbits are herbivores (eat only plants). What are we then?? We are "Lagomorph's", or more precisely, we are in the family "Lagomorpha". Now that's a mouthful, huh?
I wanted to thank everyone for writing me from all over the world. So far I've received e-mail from 11 different countries. They are the United States of America, Canada, Chile, United Kingdom, Germany, China, Austraila, Sweden, Switzerland, Malaysia, and Bulgaria.
Bunnies of the world, UNITE!!!!!!!!!!
Don't forget to check out my daddy's page The Minds Eye of Kai. He's got sort of a "strange" sense of humor. He recently bought an original 1972 movie poster to hang up in the livingroom above my cage. It's from the movie 'Night of the Lepus'. That's of course a movie about giant rabbits terroizing a town in Arizona. Here's what the poster looks like.

I guess you can't pick your parents, but I have to admit that he spoils me.
I've also started a links page for various information. I've only just started, so there's not many links yet. Be sure to check it out though. I've also been working on getting pictures of me scanned, and I even borrowed a digital camera from a friend, so I'm going to start a pictures page very soon.

Watership Down was the very first book daddy ever read cover to cover, and he recommends it very highly!! |
Tales From Watership Down is the sequel to Watership Down. Daddy hasn't read this one yet, but he gave it to his mother as a birthday present. |
And the House Rabbit Handbook is a must for all you new bunny co-habitors. There's plenty of good information within these covers. |
Did you know that most rabbits given as Easter gifts don't live to see their first birthday? Click on the link below to learn more...please. By the way, this also applies to Valentines Day as well. I know people may mean well, but we bunnies depend on our adopted families to take care of us, and utimately suffer from it.
