| The Sorceress Alcyone was the Magic Knights first enemy in Cephiro. After Hikaru used her Flame Arrow on her as they raced towards the Forest of Silence, she swore vengence on the Magic Knights. When Umi defeated her with her Water Dragon attack she was dismissed by Zagato whom she loved. She appeared again in the second season as one of Debonaire's subordinates. |

| Ascot was the second enemy the Magic Knights faced. He had the magic to summon monsters whom he called friends. Because of this ability Ascot was shunned by everybody until Zagoto promised to let his monsters live in his domain. Umi showed Ascot the error of his ways in the temple of Selece the Water Mashin. |

| Cardina was a mercenary as well as a dancing illusionist. She was the third of Zagoto's allies sent to stop the Magic Knights. When Fuu saw through her illusions at the temple of Windam the Wind Mashin, Caldina relented and let them live. She also was instrumental about giving them information about Zagato... |

| Their fourth enemy was Lafarga or known to some depending on what you go by Rafalga. He was the protector of Princess Esmeraude and a master swordsman. He was put under a powerful spell by Sol Zagato and was ordered to attack the Magic Knights. Hikaru cured him at the temple of Rayearth the Lion or Wolf of the Earth... (Author's note: I still think it's a Wolf) |

| The fifth enemy the Magic Knights faced was Inouva a creature made of magical energies, most of which turned him/it into a human form. Inouva perished while fighting to make sure Zagoto succeeded in his goal. Inouva was originally a gift to Sol Zagato by Princess Esmeraude. |

| Sol Zagato is the High Priest of Cephiro, and it is duty to protect the Pillar. But that duty became something more the day he fell in love with the Pillar. He will use any means necessary to ensure that Esmeraude's heart is free to love. He dies at the hands of the Magic Knights after using all his will to craft a Mashin of his own. In the end of all things after Esmeraude also dies at the hands of the Magic Knights they both recieve their ONE TRUE WISH...to be able to pray for nothing else but each other. |
