Wizards spend most of their time with other Wizards, in vitro, or surrounded by programs. AIs typically have a love-hate realtionship with Wizards, despite the fact that most of the AIs were designed by Wizards (or maybe because of it). They are drawn to humans who have an understanding of them, while at the same time suspicious that the Wizard may try to enslave them. Most AIs, however, are arrogant enough that they believe that the risk is minimal.

Cracker
Crackers are Wizards who use their programming skills to illegally gain entry to computers and network systems. The majority of crackers then use this power maliciously against the system, stealing or destroying data.

Hackers are Wizards who are adept at creating innovative, clever pieces of software. These are often limited patches, designed for a specific problem.

Phreakers are Wizards who specialize in breaking into communication systems.
