As you probably noticed my little post about Jennie on Home, you may want to know what it's all about. Well, she was a friend of mine that one year in high school, but then she moved up to Sacramento and we sent letters back and forth, but then the letters stopped and I only heard from her once since then. She is very elusive, I couldn't pull up any info on her on the internet, which is strange as I can find a bunch of referrences to me (and no this website didn't come up for me). So if any of you out there know her, please let her know that Alexis is looking for her. Thanks again!

I tweaked the descriptions of the Sabbats. I had thought that I had been very juvenile in my descriptions, but, in turns out that I had thought that a couple of years ago as well and had changed them once then. So the Sabbats aren't super different, but that's OK, you get the gist.
I was thinking about including a description of the Myth Cycle in detail for each sabbat, but I decided not to, only because different traditions have a different idea as to what happens during each specific sabbat. I want to be able to keep the information on this site as true for as many traditions as possible. I would have put the myth cycle of the tradition I have entered, however, I am not sure what is "coven secret" and what is free info for the public, maybe next time.

Ok, Project Grassroot is up a running! Yay! I also have a yahoo group set up for it. Please take a look, there are things that you can do, currently in general terms, but shortly, I will be locating sites that you can go to specifically for certain volunteer activities, as well, sites to find more detailed info on where to donate things that you may have lying around. I am totally excited about all of this. :) Also, I have a list of little things anyone could do to make things better around them.

Ok, I set up a Yahoo Group for the site http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TheAvatarsLibrary

I have added a page (soon to be pages) caled Project Grassroot. I believe that it is important for all people to be active in their communities and to do good works to improve the environment around them. Right now, I just have what project Grassroot means, but shortly, I will have different ways individuals can help the world around them.
Remember, as pagans, it is particularly important for us to be active in our community and for the community to see us as a positive force rather than just a bunch of hippies trying to relive the 60's, teenagers just trying to rebel against their parents, or just as a general "anti-establishment" group of rebels.
