Firesong
Aqua mixed with sapphire mixed with silver gives this blue firelizard an exotic appearance: complicated patterns of shade and hue decorate his slim body in carefully planned gaudiness. Translucent-pale wings, long and agile, are alternatively a-jitter with unreadable emotion or unwaveringly still and secretive; his eyes are calm and thoughtful, masking truth and power with beauty and
wisdom.
Firesong was Impressed at an open Hatching and desced by one of the best
descers I have the pleasure of knowing - A'razi. Firesong's dam is
Rowena's green Minstrel and his sire is A'razi's bronze Dandy.
Khan
Coppery red-bronze is the predominate shade on this wary firelizard's body. Stocky and powerfully built, he is raw strength barely contained. Blackened bronze stripes his coppery hide, running in
parallel lines to provide both contrast and a strange beauty. This firelizard seems the type who prefers hunting to being fed, a predator in every sense of the word.
Khan was a gift from Fort Weyr Search
Co. when Ari was a candidate there so I'm not quite sure who did his
lovely desc. Khan's dam is Livia's gold Dementra and his sire
is Valora's bronze Magick.
Apollo
Bronze as black as night stretches taut over finely honed draconic muscles. Broad, long wings pale slightly in the translucence of sails - to sandstorm's dusty hue, veined in brighter copper. Black headknobs, neckridges and black-speckled muzzle match raven talons that are long and razor-sharp. Long, lean build is low-slung with a thick length of dark tail trail low-slung with a thick length of dark tail trailing behind like a black silken train. Bunched muscles are built for quick bursts of speed and amazing aeronautical agility. Argentine eyes' lazy whirl regards the world with veiled humour; a joke that only he can see.
Apollo is another one of A'razi's lovely descs and was
Impressed while I was a candidate at Benden Weyr (which then became
Bahrain and then Xanadu when we moved south). Apollo's dam is
Rowena's green Minstrel and his sire is A'razi's bronze Dandy.
Mysti
Cat-eye green, this firelizard is unique and inimitable. Slivered yellow patterns her wingsails, the same shade that rides the tips of her extremities: capped neckridges, muzzle's narrow taper, spaded tail, and sickle-sharp talons. Mystery clings to her slender body, a lean, lithe enigma that dares the imagination.
Mysti was Impressed at another open Hatching; Karise is
given kudos for her lovely desc. Mysti's dam is Kai's gold Baraki
and her sire is Diony's bronze Diamond. Click

Isa
Sunfire broils and teems along the refined edges of this waifish queen; gold flames lick at her 'ridges and vaulted wings, bright brighter brightest to the end of her tail. Eclipsed, the sunlight greedily devours the ragged edges of black-gold that occludes her classical muzzle and svelte, slim belly. Jesses in black tangle her elegant legs and merge into the predatory night of those needy little talons. She is captor. She is queen. She is born to light, love, and longing.
Isa was Impressed at an open Hatching themed on the
movie LadyHawke. Her lovely desc is a result of Nevarre's
hard work. Isa's dam is Nevarre's gold Isabeau and her sire is
Nevarre's bronze Etien. Click here to get a
list of Isa's offspring.
Spike
There is a wicked glint in his eye as he arches his lovely throat. Light frothy cream swirls about his rather
spiky headknobs and darken to deep mahogany tones across his firm chest. A darkling firelizard, his talons are dipped in obsidian and gleam mordantly with the light. Strength radiates throughout his wiry and slender frame, rippling burnt sienna brushstrokes across wings that enfold his body like a supple leather duster, hiding his body in the shadows.
Spike was Impressed at an open Hatching themed on the
television show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. His amazing desc is a
result of Tam's hard work. Spike's dam is Tam's gold Miaka and his
sire is Tam's bronze Taka.
I've
also done a few descs for other clutches that were not from my own female
firelizards. Click here to see what clutches
I've desced and whose offspring they were.
