An Apology, And A Statement Sun Sep 02 Rock

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

*Rock appears on the viewscreen in his Megaman armor, sans helmet, which is apparently tucked underneath his arm. He smiles brightly at first for a moment and waves, before straightening his expression a bit as he speaks.*

"Hey guys! It's great to see you all again, and I do apologize for my sudden disappearance. I had a lead on something that I really wanted to investigate inconspicuously so I couldn't let any of you know about it. Unfortunately it was a false lead, and I apologize for coming back with nothing, while taking so much from you guys."

*Rock leans off camera for a moment, placing his helmet down on something apparently, as he returns empty handed. As he begins to speak, a lot more body launguage comes from him as he speaks, hands waving here, gestures there, the whole nine yards.*

"However, I find your current behavior to be unexcusable. I understand that I am your commanding officer, but I'm also your friend, we're all supposed to be friends here." He pauses to closes his eyes and sigh a bit before continuing, "When I got back, the first thing I did was check the backlog on the reports computer, and I saw all of this chaos and bickering. You guys are becoming no better than the people we're trying to defeat. We're supposed to be the world's most elite defencive and offensive force on the planet... it's time we started acting like it. It is /our/ responsibility to stop what no one else can stop. It is /our/ responsibility to be there first, when every second counts. It is /OUR/ respnosibility to protect this world, this world that belongs to us /all/. Not just the humans, not just the reploids, but all life."

*Rock pauses again, letting himself calm down a bit. A slight look of compassionate frustration in his eyes. He sobers up quickly however, and clears his throught, as he continues...

"I love every last one of you guys. You are my family. From Dr. Light to Michael Eildath and Roll to Dawn. Sure we don't always get along, but we always let it go. We can't waste time fighting with ourselves, when there are more important things on the line than our wounded prides. People's lives. We all fight for our own reasons, and we all joined for our own reasons. But there should be one driving force we all have in common, and that's the will to bring an end to all of this fighting, no matter how bleak the future may become."

*Rock now levels a stern gaze on the camera.*

"If you don't want to be here, then now is the time to walk out the door. We are the Maverick Hunters, and we are the best there are. If you're not here to give it /everything/ you've got, no matter what your field of specialtise is, then we don't have the luxury of taking the chance on you that you will be there when we need you the most."

*Rock now relaxes a bit, and lets out a deep breath, he brings his hand up to his forehead and brushes his unruly hair back out of his eyes.*

"But... it's good to be back. I hope I get to see some of you soon. We've got so much catching up to do!"

*Rock then flashes a smile and the V-sign before the viewscreen flips off.*

Twila's Quarters <TQ>(#3681OeM)

Encased within white walls and teal carpeting lies the fashioned quarters of one lone woman. The room itself is sparsely decorated save for one or two framed prints of the oceanic life focusing on the whale and dolphin hanging on the wall above the desk. This desk, as with several other pieces furniture wooden and of an antique design. Upon the desk rests Twila's laptop computer as well as a minimal amount of accessories. The bed lies against the adjoining wall, its mattress and bedding covered with a Pennsylvainian Dutch patterned quilt. Also noticed on top of the bed are two stuffed toy lions (one large, one small), and a teddy bear. On a nearby nightstand rests a Bible and three framed photes. One displayes a photo taken of a petite blond and her husband of Middle Eastern decent who stand behind a young red-headed girl appearing to be between the age of 11-13 years. The others are of Rick and a collage of Rock.

Not far from the door rests a padded basket-type bed for the girl's young, mischievous cabbit. Kyo-Ohki will more than likely be found here if she's not with Twila elsewhere or exploring the vast ventilation system trailing throughout the base. Spread around the basket are some toys she likes to play with on occasion.

Plasma Azor softly knocks... or, rather, buzzes the intercom. "Twila... It's me. Can I come in?"

Twila Peterson turns about in her seat to look towards the door, giving a slight nod even though it can't be seen otherwise. "Door open."

Meanwhile, the cabbit pauses with some of the plastic yarn ball in her mouth, eyeing the door rather comically.

Plasma Azor steps in, with his casual clothing. "Heey... mom." He puts, not meaning to upset her. Apparently, it's not like he knows much about the RMs and their relationship with Twila.

The mechanimal drops her toy, ignoring the squeak it gives as it plops on the mattress, and trots over to Azor to sniff at his feet.

Twila seems to tense slightly when adressed in that way. But she did happen to give him permission. She quietly sighs and minimizes her file on the screen. "Hey, Azor. How's it going?"

Plasma Azor doesn't look like he's in his usual cheerful tone. "That's my line. You don't look so well." He looks rather concerned... And it's strange how his eyes look suddenly wet as he does so.

Twila Peterson allows her shoulders slump as she swivles in her seat a little. "I guess I don't." Looking away she offers a small shrug. "I don't know about thise place anymore. Seems like it's falling apart at the seams and no one seems to give a care."

Plasma Azor slowly walks over to her, and tentatively puts his hands on her shoulders. "Correction. -Zero- doesn't seem to give a care." He eyes her deeply in her own, the 'windows of the soul' seeming overcome by an emotion Reploids should not be able to enact.

She's greatful for the contact, even if she is somewhat distressed to actively give indication. "If something doesn't drastically change soon," Twila states slowly, "I'm sending in my resignation."

Plasma Azor is deeply shocked. And that is all there is to it. He simply stands in there, his eyes open wide.

The young woman remains silent for a few moments while glancing back towards the screen. "Aside from the concerns I listed on the board as well to a general letter to the Squad Commanders and their Seconds, I'm not going to have my integraty questioned without foundation. I can't help it if the Masters term me as 'Mom' and occasionally take me to 'play with mommy'. I can't help the fact that Bass as threatened my family ties if and when he should come by and I don't happen to give him information he demands. He hasn't done so yet, but he already nearly killed my aunt, uncle, and cousins and would have if Protoman hadn't have taken me seriously. It's like no one cares anymore, and all they want to do is lay blame." The girl stops to try and settle herself, and bring down the level of emotion in her voice. A hand raises up to rest itself on her forehead as she let's out a breath. "It's not my fault."

Plasma Azor motions to attempt an embrace. "I know. I know it's not. I believe you, Twila, as I would believe no one else. Zero is wrong. And he knows he is. But he won't admit it, because his own ego was bruised, and he feels like we can't live without him, but he's -WRONG-!"

The medic brings down her arm and leans against the reploid, simply feeling...tired. Not the type of tiredness which creeps in when one is phyically fatigued...but emotionally drained. "Then why can't anyone else see that?"

Plasma Azor simply puts. "Don't get people wrong." He increases a bit of the squeezing on this seemingly uncomfortable hug (as it should feel to most people.) "Zero, of all people, should know that deep within, he is a bit jealous. No one I know believes him, no one believes you're a traitor. But no one has the strength or the courage to face him, because of the position he's in. If anyone at all cares for what they're doing in here, they know that by themselves they would be weaker, and would rather stand this than letting a greater objective fade away. It's not that they don't believe you... they just lack the strength to make 'him' believe otherwise."

"Perhaps," Twila muses. "But no one can change another person's mind for them. It's up to the Chain of Command to deal with this sort of thing. And I haven't seen anything active for a good long while now." She pauses and gestures to the screen. "I briefly skimmed through Rock's 'Welcome Back' report...but he doesn't seem too concerned of what's going on about here either...save the bickering."

Plasma Azor says, "Of course that after being so long gone... he wouldn't know all. I don't think much of the problems around has even been reported. He needs someone to tell him of what's going on in here, someone who has a deep feel of the situation."

Twila Peterson lets loose a grunt. "Zero's his best friend. Why would he listen to me over him?"

Plasma Azor simply replies. "Because you're being true." No, it doesn't have anything with her being his sweetheart. Apparently, Pura is blunt enough to not know that.

The young woman doesn't seem as convinced as Azor seems to be. Ever since the Seige on Repliforce it's almost as if Rock's been purposely avoiding her. "At the moment, I'm not conviced that it would be enough for him. And I don't have anything else to offer but the truth."

Plasma Azor says, "It will have to be enough. And I'll be by your side. If he simply ignores it..." he pauses for a bit, ".....I won't leave your side. Not now, not ever. Because if anything, you're the -only- person I care for in this whole place."

"Thanks...that means alot..." Twila gets out. "But...I think it may be a little too late for that." She turns back to the computer and does what amounts to the hardest thing she's ever had to do...and maximizes the file she's been working on. The file...for her resignation.

After my tenure here as a staff member here at the Labs for over a year I was asked to officially join the Maverick Hunters. However, the organization I had opted to join has fallen in quite a bit of dissaray and is falling apart at the proverbial seams. Those contributing to this decay either don't wan't to acknowledge they're part of the problem or simply ignore the problem altogether. An organization that verbally abuses and threatens its memebers is not one that I signed up for.

To answer the charges of treason, my previous reports speak for themselves. I have never provided Masters with information. All the "play with Mommy" sprees were an humiliating scenerio instead of an interrogation. Reports regarding Bass stand on their own as well. Bass has threatened and promised to bring harm not to me, but to my surviving relatives should he seek me for any future information. He knew I sometimes stayed in the base for lengthy periods to avoid being "tagged". The last time being way back when Feedback had so angered Bass and Bass was actively searching for him over a matter of photos that were published half a year ago. Already he made good on that promise to bring them to harm. If Protoman hadn't had taken my concerns seriously that Bass would try something to simply prove his point he would endanger them, my uncle, aunt, and three cousins would be dead. My brother relocated them. But the danger still remains. And precious little has been done. And yet I'm the one being blamed for being victimized for the actions of terrorists.

That said, I can no longer tolerate the atmosphere within the Hunters...or the lack of responsibility of those who are supposedly in charge. Should the situation change, and I be allowed to rejoin, I shall do so. But for now--.

In short, this is my resignation. Effective immediately.

Equipment, gear, and anything else belonging to this organization will be left behind in my quarters. I'm leaving with little more than when I first came. Change the radio frequencies and the codes as you see fit. The only contact I'll have is my personal electronic mail adress and a store bought radios. Anything else, please contact via the above methods.

==============================================================================

Plasma Azor falls silent for a few moments. Then he asks. "It's your decision, I guess. Can I ask you just a little favor?"

Twila Peterson muses to herself as she gets up to take her already back duffle bag and backback. Apparently she had somewhat expected this. "Yes?"

Plasma Azor asks, "Can I use your PC for a little while?"

Twila Peterson hmmms and sets up the Hunter equipment, not her personal laptop...for obvious reasons. Meanwhile, Kyo trots over to her owner and waits patiently. She eyes the leesh Twila has in hand and can only be greatful she's not using that dang carry-all. "Sure....use this...as I should be leaving."

Plasma Azor asks, "Just wait for a little while." He turns, flexes his fingers, and begins to frantically type in the computer, even with a bit of rage. The rage comes out in a single tear, as hhee prepares to send the message.

His own resignation letter.

Twila Peterson bends gestures for Kyo to hop up on the desk near her...at which Kyo obeys. (She's getting good at that) And the cabbit remains stilll as the leesh is attatched. It's only then that Twila relaizes by looking at the screen what Azor intends...

Plasma Azor motions the mouse over to the send button. Yes, it's hard. But Twila had the courage to do it. And he needs to stick with his promise.

(Ch. B []) Rhapsody transmits: 'Ow.'.

Twila Peterson stands by to watch...idly resting her gaze on the screen...then seeing that a new messgae has come into her private account while Azor continues.

Plasma Azor motions the mouse from the send button to her private account. "I take you'd like to see that first. Although my hopes aren't too high... It might just make you change your mind." He stands up, and allows her to see it.

Twila Peterson furrows her brows as she opens the message, not maintaining any real hope regardless. But she opens the message anyway...

Before you leave. I wish to speak to you about a few things. I don't want to have to retain you in the labs, but it is imperative I speak to you before you leave the grounds.

Plasma Azor gives her only the hint of a smile. "I guess I... underestimated Rock."

Twila Peterson presses her lips together while she scoops up Kyo. "We'll, have to see on that," she muses in thought.

Plasma Azor wells, "I'll hold onto my own resignation until you speak to him." He motions for an embrace. "Don't lose hope."

Twila Peterson bends over and while letting Kyo up on her shoulder types a short message back to Rock:

<Meanwhile...as Rock and Zero discuss other matters...>

================================Rock's Quarters================================

Rock's Quarters is a well done mix of official and casual, the walls are plain white, in the small spots where you can actually -see- the walls. Awards, certificates, pictures, and posters adorn the walls, all in a mesh of Rock the hero and Rock the fun loving guy. In the corner lies his desk, next to it, a small wastepaper basket. His bed is quite large, and lies in the center of the room against the far wall. The headboard serves as a shelf as well, and on them, several pictures and small toys and models. A nightstand sits next to his bed; on it is a picture of Twila Peterson, his ex-fiancé, in the green dress he'd given her as an early birthday gift; tied to the corner of the picture is a blue ribbon, a gift from Twila's pet cabbit, Kyo-Ohki. An entertainment center sits opposite the bed, containing a television (or at least the equivalent of which in this day and age) as well as some game systems and a stereo. A bookshelf takes up nearly all of the free wall, showing Rock's secret love of reading, as well as his love for toys and models, which occupy some of the shelves as well. A large window lies above the bed, allowing light to shine down upon it during the day, and giving him a good look at the night sky after hours. A door leading to the bathroom is located next to the bed opposite the desk, which is also where his closet is located. All in all, a fine meshing of Rock's personality, giving off the same cheerful aura that he himself does.

===============================================================================

Rock walks into his quarters, the door shutting behind the both of them. "First of all, Zero. I don't want to hear your attitude or your usual lack of caring. I think I deserve enough respect for you to speak to me without having to be an ass about it, as you have been with the rest of the Hunters lately."

Zero steps into the room after a moment, and smirks, leaning against the wall. "I ain't been an ass to the rest of the Hunters, Rock." the berserker responds flatly. "Just those that deserve it, like Victim Peterson."

Rock shakes his head, "So, you've managed to run off and alienate the one person who has more vital information on a lot of people than even you and I have, and just pushed her out the door." Rock shakes his head, "Way to go. Thanks to not even bothering to think about the situation at hand, you just flew off the handle, like you ALWAYS do, and made a bad decision that unless I can somehow find a miraculous way to prevent, is going put us at a -very- large potential disadvantage on the battlefield."

Rock adds, "And don't even think you're leaving either."

Zero grunts. "Oh, I ain't going nowhere, Rock. I had no plans on it. And stop taking up for her, dammit. We all know that you and her used to be an item, but you're letting that personal relationship screw with your own call on this one. And as far as that whole info thing goes, she's been a walking liability since the first time Wily tried to drag her off, and every single last time that some Master gets bored, and decides 'Hey, I'll kidnap Twila for fun and profit'. The Crash Man Hour, Christmas, hell, it don't even have to be a holiday, and snag, we're having to save her again. How long before the Masters get bored with the game, and finally start using her as bait, or take the information they want from her, and hide the body. I have news for you, old friend. Albert's done made one clone, kid, whatever, from that pirate Tron Bonne. That tells me in a nutshell that he's no longer got any use for Twila."

Rock turns around and stares hard at Zero, "You're one to talk, having had relations with half the known females in the world. We may not be at war with them, but we still have plenty of secrets to keep from Repliforce, yet I hear almost half of your time, even on duty time is spent with Iris? You critisize me for me taking up for Twila, when it's been made pretty abundantly clear that there's no longer any kind of thing between us anymore, while you yourself are more guilty of the samething ten times over?" Rock takes a few steps towards Zero staring him in the eyes, "Just because you're powerful, doesn't give you the right to think you can push people around, or act as if you were superior to them. It's not your place to pass judgement, it's not anyones. I made you my XO because I trusted you to keep the faction going in my absense. And obviously you've failed. Even though I know your capable of more than that." Rock sighs and turns around, walking away from Zero again, "I don't know what's happened to you, but you just aren't the same anymore. You just don't seem to care about what's really important, because your too damn blind to see beyond your own sword."

Zero says, "I see it a lot more clearly than you can imagine, Rock." he doesn't flinch from the stare, or back down for that matter. "The question is, are you basing your words off of one post by Twila, or the whole of the faction? Because, from the sounds of it, yeh, I may be taking a hard-line stance, but you know what? Someone had to. We were losing people right and left because we are entirely too busy playing patty-cake with our enemies instead of actually taking it to them. If you want to go with that whole peaceful resolutions nonsense that Twila seems to be so apt to think would work, then fine, you'll have a great XO in Signas. The boy's come a long way in his job, and is more than capable of it." He rests his hand on his hip, and smirks. "And as any Hunter can tell you, I've made it a point to be assessable, and as active as any of them need me to be. Yeh, I spend time with Iris. Your point being? You seem intent on bringing the personal lives into this as much as I did. You're the boss around here. If you want to trapse in here on your first day back, and before talking to anyone else that Twila's right, and I'm wrong, then that's your business, and you can go beg her to come back all you want. But I'm not going to have a thing to do with it.""

Rock snorts, "I never said Twila was right. This isn't about Twila, this is about the information she has at her disposal. This is about a security risk. But you're so intent on trying to make this out to where you're free of blame and I'm being a fool and just blindly placing blame on you. It's not going to work Zero. I'm tired of being coerced into letting off on you and everyone else." Rock turns back around and eyes Zero again, "If you'd stop trying to make it into you vs me, and instead of realizing this is a matter of you not keeping the best interests of the faction in mind, you might start understanding. Is Twila wrong? On a large part, yes. Is it her right to voice her opinion? Yes it is. What kind of precedent does that set for the rest of the Hunters when someone speaks up about what they think is wrong, and they see hostility thrown back at them. Twila needed to be responded to, that's fine. But there were much better ways of doing it." Rock folds his arms across his chest and levels his gaze again, "And I wouldn't bring your private life into a discussion, if it was anything near being private. Everyone in the free world knows about your private life, so don't blame me for your own lack of subtlety."

Laughter. That's what greets Rock in response. Zero snorts, and laughs hard. "You know when she decided to voice that opinion? Or are you assuming that this whole time she just was holding it in, and waiting for you to return before she said anything? She posted her so-called concerns after I verbally chewed her out on the radio after her little triade against the fact that Fugue has a Jane in our medical bay at the moment, but that's a different story. She was going on about our 'hospitality', and she took offense when I compared that to her constant stays with the Masters. That, Rock, is when she decided to post her 'impartial' opinion, and I responded the way I did. 'Mom'," he says with the same sweetness as vinegar and castor oil, "is about as much of a victim of my rant as she is when she decides to take a break from the Labs and be kidnapped. She's a professional victime, and you and I both know it."

Rock shrugs, "Then we should take more precautions to ensure her safety. You need to see the point here, Zero. She is a medical officer. She has medical information on all of us as well as several Repliforcers. And you pushed her all the way out, before trying to find some other way of taking care of things. I could've been any of our medics and I would still be acting the same way. This isn't about Twila, it's about what she knows. So pull your damn pretty head out of your ass, and start listening to what I'm saying before I have to beat it into that thick head of yours."

Zero says, "I assigned Blau to watch her, Rock. Escort duty. What more did you want me to do? I mean, I could have just simply locked her in the brig, and only bring her out for repairs. As for removing my head from my ass.. maybe you should take yours out first, because you ain't been back long enough to jump in and assuming you know everything that's going on." Snorting a bit, he folds his arms across his chest. "Is there a point to all this, or did you just simply feel like ranting because I gave Twila a hard time?"

Rock shrugs, "Then obviously you didn't assign the right person to the job. If she was still capable of being abducted by the Masters, why didn't you address her escort with his failure, and assigning someone more capable of the job?" Rock then snorts himself, "And it doesn't take long to see how badly the faction is off right now. You're on house arrest for the next week and your rank is suspended for the time being. And if I find out you've sneaked out, /I/ will personally go out and bring you back, by force if necessary. Furthermore, as for Twila, I'm not going to ask her to come back to the Hunters, but I am going to make sure she understands the fact that she can't take any of her records of what she did here with her, and hope that the information she holds within her mind shall stay there and she won't be subjected to any kind of harm to try and pry it out of her." Rock sighs, "You've managed to put our lives, and her life at stake. Our job is to protect lives, not put them at risk, no matter the circumstances." Rock sighs and sits down on his bed, "I expect more from you Zero, as an officer, and a friend. It's not easy for me to have to do this, but it's my job."

Zero smirks. "Then I suggest you have that force ready, Rock. I have a prior commitment to the Repliforce. You know.. that whole responsibility bit you keep toting on about? I have it, believe it or not." The anger builds up on the inside, but he's not lashing out.. yet. "And you know something else. The faction may be screwed up. But no worse than when Proto handled it.. or the way you left it, Rock. So before you shoulder all this blame on me.. maybe you should consider some for yourself." With that, the Hunter spins on his heel to walk out.

Rock shrugs, "Alright then. I don't want to have to hurt you, but I will. You'd be better off spending your time thinking about what you did wrong, so that maybe at the end of the week you'll be ready to start doing your job again."

Zero shrugs, and walks out. "Welcome back, Rock. Nice to know you put yourself and Twila over even paying attention to current events. And I suggest, before you warm up that buster of yours that you read up on the Repliforce rules of engagement for those attacking cadets, since I've been reminded of it plenty of times over the last week."

<Shortly...>

Rock sends you a tightbeam radio transmission: "If you could step into my quarters, Twila."

Kaust Losstaret sends you a tightbeam radio transmission: "Miss Peterson, a word, if you will."

Twila Peterson waits outside for a moment, takes a deep breath, and knocks.

Rock sits on his bed still, pondering over something for a moment. He announces, "Come in!" at the knock and stands up, greeting Twila as the door opens, "I won't keep you long, I'm sure you don't really care to stick around."

Kaust Losstaret sends you a tightbeam radio transmission: "It is a matter of business, my dear. I wish to donate 25 million zenny to the Hunters. I thought it best to speak to you."

Twila enters the room and nods slowly. She would offer a "Welcome Home" to Rock...but no doubt decides that it would be in highly poor tatse. "Not particularly. Although...in all honesty, didn't mean for this to happen right when you got your foot into the front door."

And if any radios come in on her private frquency...they go blantantly ignored.

Rock shrugs, "Just another day at the office." He says in a low tone, "Anywho, I'm not going to ask you to stay, but I do have to ask you to leave anything that has any kind of documented information on anything that has gone on while

Kaust Losstaret sends you a tightbeam radio transmission: "This money could save many lives, many innocents."

Twila Peterson again dips her chin, this time in agreement. "I had already planned to do so, for security reasons. I may not actively like how things have gone on, but I'm not planning on helping any enemies get any hands on anything that may hurt anyone here."

Although, she already well knows that by leaving even eith only herself, she may be doing so. It doesn't sit well with her either. But her inborn stubborness is keeping her steadfast.

Rock nods, "Alright then. That's really all I wanted to say... well, that and good bye, and thanks for staying with us for as long as you did." Rock smiles a bit and says, "You helped me realize a lot of things over the years, Twila, and I'll always be able to thank you for that."

"Helped me relaize alot as well," the young woman responds slowly, If she's beginning to have second thoughts creeping in she forces them back. "As I stated within the resignation, if things change enough so I feel that can come back, and provided I would be accepted back, I'll return. As it is now---." Twila states little else than this while she turns towards the door. "Take care of yourself, alright?"

Rock nods, "I will. You take care of yourself as well. And feel free to call me if you get in too far over your head. You're a civilian now, it's my job to protect you again." he says with a grin.

Getting in over her head? Twila? Never! *A-hem* "I'll be sure to do just that," the girl offers, then gives a mock salute. Quietly she offers a: "Godspeed," then completes her turn before moving towards the door.

Rock grins and waves, "Ditto."

And with that Twila is gone.

Before I decide to ignore you all for a week, and oh.. leave the base when I damn well please, let me make sure I have this straight. I find this funny. Rock asks Twila to marry him, brings her into the Labs, breaks off the engagement with her, and then when Twila starts getting kidnapped on a bi-weekly basis, it's my fault for putting the security of the Labs above his ex-girlfriend. You know.. you've made some stupid calls in your life, Rock, but this one ranks.. WAY UP THERE. And anyone that decides to support Twila, you're all just as moronic on this one.

- Zero out.

Quitting Sun Sep 02 Michael Eildath

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Okay, so now the mass exodus has begun? Why? Because people aren't getting along and there's strife here... again. Fine, you all are free to be mad at each other, but for God's sake, keep it between the person you have a disagreement with. Noone has any right to accuse any of any other person here of things, when all of us have something that someone else can complain about. Nobody's perfect here, remember? Have you ever thought of talking things out rather than flying off the handle and saying something that can hurt somebody else, something you might regret saying later? This goes both ways, people, and I'm not taking sides in this. I'm here because I have a war to win, and people to fight for. So stop fighting like children and talk things out, cause I'm sure as hell not gonna sit around and watch the people I've come to regard as a family act like this.

If you need me, you know where to find me. I'm not going anywhere.

Eildath out.

Operation: Cancel Crash Sun Sep 02 Zero

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Since X has seen fit to tag me with a week of punishment duty, and banishment to the Lab environs, I'm gonna have to break ranks in order to give you boys and girls a royal opprotunity, that you may never get again.

This Wedensday, Iris and I have been invited to be on the Crash Man show.. with special guest -- Sigma. We will probably never ever have another chance again, not only to shut down Crash's little broadcast, but also capture Sigma. Crash Man is trying to set it up so that Iris has to admit to who she really loves on international television. Once she does that.. all hell will most likely break loose. I want Iris, or I to carry in a transmitter to this secret location, and once the show starts, activate it, that will give your boys and girls in the Marines a chance to deploy, and surround this transmitter of the Masters.

I'll make sure Iris stays safe until you guys can get in there to bust Sigma and Crash's skulls, and hopefully, they'll overlook Iris' Vanguard crystal.

That's the bare bones of the plan. Contact me via radio at the Labs so we can work out the details.. and oh, Corporal Ocelot, scramble this ASAP so that the Hunters don't have access to it. Last thing I want is them trying to uphold Twila's honor and my so-called punishment.

- Cadet Zero out.

TO: Rick Morgan

FROM: Twila Peterson

SUBJECT: Resignation

As you can more than likely see by the reports, I've...given my resignation. I won't go into the whys or reasons here tho. I'd...rather do that in person. Know that I'm safe, and in London in the Western Reidential District at Travistock in at 3rd and 4th streets where...I guess I'll be staying until I know what to do.

Purasma Azor also decided to leave. I...don't think he has the same reasons. In some ways he looks to me as a "mother-type" figure. So in a way I guess I'm responsible for him leaving as well. Although not certain what to do of it.

I have my personal radio and can be contacted via tightbeam or by personal E-Mail. Please get in touch soon."

TO: General, Repliforce CO; Colonel Repliforce X0

FROM: Twila Peterson

SUBJECT: Ally Status

Just writing to inform you that I have since sent in my resignation into the Maverick Hunter organization. All precautions to protect security of both the Hunters and Repliforce, due to my knowledge, has been taken. I would understand if my status as an ally to Repliforce would also be terminated.

Thank you.

<text only.>

I know that I'm not considered a part of this faction, with good reason, my ties are loose with you all so I can get done what needs to be done. I have my reasons, some of you know them, some of you don't. However, I -am- around enough to see what goes on, and I've taken my brother's position when he's in a bind enough that I'm going to say something here and now that needs to be said to all of you.

Grow up.

There's a war going on out there, people, and like it or not, we're on the same side. This berating of each other isn't helping anything, and I know you all think this sounds hypocritical coming from me, but none of my actions have lead to the fall out that you are causing amongst each other right now. There's a balding, wrinkled old man, sitting in his tub and recieving a sponge bath from Ballade right now that is laughing his ass off at the fact that the Hunter faction is falling appart. And he has good reason, because there won't be anything to stop him from his goals if this keeps up.

So suck it up, go grab a gun, and go shoot some Robot Masters. Better way to let your flustrations out then insulting each other.

Protoman out.
