Rock wants me gone, far from me to not oblige.

I quit. Not that I was here in the first place.

Resignations and Other Tobbyrot Sun Dec 24 Dr. Thomas Light

Doctor Light comes on-screen, looking none-too-thrilled with his thoughts. "I cannot begin to fathom the reasons behind Rock forcing Blues to resign from the Hunters. We are all family, and if it comes down to forcing people to leave because you disagree with the way you ponder, then perhaps you should look within yourselves and reconsider why you are a Hunter in the first place. Rock, I am -sorely- disappointed that you did not take Blues' thoughts of the Striders under advisement when he brought them forward to begin with. Our family is based off of mutual respect and trust, not an autonomous form that where only one makes the decisions. I want Blues located and apologized to, immediately."

"I cannot understand what has occured while I was visiting a friend in the hospital in Paris, all I can come to the conclusion about is that Blues did not want the Striders here. And for that, he must have his reasons. He is not one to just make a judgement rashly, without anything to back up his thoughts. I sincerely hope that someone will take the time to hear his reasoning out.. even if I do it myself." Fighting back shedding tears of disappointment in his children bickering like this, Doctor Light merely turns off the camera.

My Two Cents Mon Dec 25 Zero
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Zero appears on the screen, apparently from his remote report computer at his apartment in New York.

"Ya know, frankly, for once, I'm with Blues on this one. And I sure as hell made my opinions clear on these Strider folk. You folks don't know what it's like to be a hired killer. I do. These guys can't be trusted, yet one chess game, and a few beat up mercs and Rock's bleeding heart, and all of them have free reign in the Labs..."

Zero shakes his head, turning to the side halfway.

"It makes me sick. This is just as bad as when we brough SIGMA in here. We may as well bring him back on in. All it takes is either the Mavericks or Masters paying these guys more than we can, and BAM, we're screwed. And in case you haven't noticed folks, we're a non-profit organization. And from what I've managed to dig up on them, they do a majority of their work for high paying government bigwigs. And we're not too high on their popularity chart. So if you guys wanna keep on going on with this silly little parade of people through our headquarters, fine. But don't expect to see me there. If you're looking for me, or you've got jobs to do for me, you come down to my apartment. It's a lot more secure than the Labs are nowadays. I noticed you were cryin' in your report, Doc. Well I sure hope it was tears of disappointment in yours, and Rock's judgement on this one. You guys are way wrong, and your bringing in a whole new soap opera and security breach into our home. But, hey, you two are the ones in charge, I'm just the right hand man. If you need me, I'll be at my apartment. Maverick Hunter XO Zero out."

(Ch. A [Rock]) Twila Peterson transmits: 'How goes?'.
(Ch. A [Hunter-Main]) Rock transmits: 'Fairly well. Working on a message for everyone.'.
(Ch. A [Rock]) Twila Peterson transmits: 'Lemme guess. Not one exactly for New Year's.'.
(Ch. A [Hunter-Main]) Rock transmits: 'Indeed. *a sigh* Sometimes... I wish Dr. Light never made me in charge of all this. It's so hard, Twila. But... I have to do this.'.
(Ch. A [Rock]) Twila Peterson transmits: 'Asprin?'.
(Ch. A [Hunter-Main]) Rock transmits: '*a chuckle* Yeah. That would help. It's just the whole Striders, Blues, and Zero thing, Twi... I dont know why they are so against this. I have taken every precaution, I have judged the Striders to be one our side... what more can they want?'.
(Ch. A [Rock]) Twila Peterson transmits: 'Maybe time. You're the Commander, Rock...the one makes the final decisions. And, I trust that you know why you deicided to handle the Striders the way you did. But the others don't know the reasons. Guess they're seeing the Striders the same way most outside this base see the Hunters.'.
(Ch. A [Hunter-Main]) Rock transmits: 'Yeah... Yeah... Your right. I mean... Some of those UN would love to lock every last one of us up, because we aren't controled by them. They think we are outlaws, vigilanties, and no better then who we fight. *a sigh* Want to come to my room and talk a bit? I could use a friendly face about now. And, Twi? Thanks. Oh! Also... on a lighter note... Thanks for the presents, Twila. They were great! Rush loves his too.'.
(Ch. A [Hunter-Main]) Rock transmits: 'I have yours here.'.
(Ch. A [Rock]) Twila Peterson transmits: 'How can I refuse an offer like that? Sure. Be right there.'.

================================Rock's Quarters================================
Rock's Quarters is a well done mix of official and casual, the walls are plain white, in the small spots where you can actually -see- the walls. Awards, certificates, ppictures, and posters adorn the walls, all in a mesh of Rock the hero and Rock the fun loving guy. In the corner lies his desk, next to it, a small wastepaper basket. His bed is quite large, and lies in the center of the room against the far wall. The headboard serves as a shelf as well, and on them, several pictures and small toys and models. A nightstand sits next to his bed; on it is a picture of Twila Peterson, his ex-fiancé, in the green dress he'd given her as an early birthday gift; tied to the corner of the picture is a blue ribbon, a gift from Twila's pet cabbit, Kyo-Ohki. An entertainment center sits opposite the bed, containing a television (or at least the equivalent of which in this day and age) as well as some game systems and a stereo. A bookshelf takes up nearly all of the free wall, showing Rock's secret love of reading, as well as his love for toys and models, which occupy some of the shelves as well. A large window lies above the bed, allowing light to shine down upon it during the day, and giving him a good look at the night sky after hours. A door leading to the bathroom is located next to the bed opposite the desk, which is also where his closet is located. All in all, a fine meshing of Rock's personality, giving off the same cheerful aura that he himself does.
===============================================================================

There is a call from within the room. "Come in!"

When the door opens, it can be seen that the rooms of The Blue Bomber are as usual, a mesh of Rock's personality, cheerful and bright as always. Rock himself is sitting at his desk, on his large, comfortable rolling desk chair, turned to look to the door as it opens. He lowers his hand from where he just turned off the console apon said desk, looking to the door with a soft smile on his ALMOST flawlessly formed face

Twila pokes her head inside the room and offers a small wave before stepping in more fully. "Hey. Sure you're alright? You look a lil drained," she notes as she closes the door behinf her.

Rock waves to Twila in return, then leans back further in the chair, offering a soft sigh. "Sort of. And yeah... I am drained..." Rock sighs softly, slowly raising his arms to stretch, and they can even hear soft popping as steel wire sinews stretch and click from tension
Twila Peterson offers a dip of the chin as she proceedes forward. "Well, with everything going on and in an uproar..." She appraoches the seated reploid to offer him a hug while he stretches his arms. "Look as if you needed one of these anyway," she whispers.

Rock leans foward as she gives him the hug, returning it in kind and whispering back. "Yes... I did. Thanks, Twila..." Rock shakes his head slowly, looking up to her before motioning to the other chair nearby. "Here... sit... relax. And well, it will be all right. I am working on a message to everyone to settle it. I am going to hire the Striders and have them begin gathering all the information they can on the Maverick and Master fronts, and especialy look down into South America to see what they can discover there." Rock offers a soft smile. "I think Hiryu wants to work a bit closer with us, though. He said he isn't involved with the Blue Dragons, really. A lone fighter alot like Blues was before he joined us."

"I saw those two within the Recreation room the other night. Blues was without his armor. As such...they really did look a bit like twins." Yes...she made a slip up. Trying to get herself out of referring to Rock's brother by the more known name isn't as easy as one might sound. But it's done in private. So, it may not matter as much. "Rock, I did have a question. Will this alliance go both ways...reregards to some of us going into their base to work with them?" she asks inncently. It may be involved within the report Rock is preparing. But still Twila's curious. The girl asks this when lowering herself into the preoffered seat.

Rock nods, crossing his arms slowly over his chest as he lets his head rest back against his chest. "Hmm... Interesting. I almost can see it. But then... Blues and I look almost exactly alike, except for the hair and eyes." Rock keeps his head back, closing his eyes and thinking. "Maybe. I assume it might. Kain and the others seem very concerned about the Maverick and Master activity themselves, and I would think he would like to with us as much as I him. Besides, he and I share a good deal now. We weild the Yin Cipher... and he trusts me if he let me take it. I imagine that might be a good idea as well... maybe one or two of us can visit their base?" Rock raises his head, looking to Twila with a soft smile. "Maybe you can have that job, or you and I can go together."

Rock raises his head, looking to Twila with a soft smile. "Maybe you can have that job, or you and I can go together."

"As...some sort of envoy?" Twila asks, tilting her head slightly to the side. "Would more than likely work if you and the Strider leader have been able to work as closely as you said." she then pauses, "What exactly is the Cipher? I think I've seen tou with it a few times...and I know I've seen Sarah's. But what about when your eyes go white?"

All Twila can do in reply is...nod. She knows what a Katana is is of course. But her knowdlege of Asian weaponery only goes so far. The only time she had done any research was for a short story for one of her creative writing courses in college. As for the rest or what was stated, "Certainly does seem to trust you with it then." And, from the resent records from the repair chamber (yes, she did check. She's supposed to keep up on these things) no harm had been done to his system. "Maybe sometime that energy signature can be found out. But for now..." Hope the problems here can get settled, one way or another. Much seems from the fact that Rock's leadership is in question...or at least his asseration. "How has your day been otherwise?"

The Blue Bomber nods, smiling softly at her first words, nodding. "Yes. And I owe him deeply for that, and for saving my life against those Masters that night." Rock shakes his head, and hmms. "Maybe we can one day, I will speak to Kain more on it I think." Rock then looks to Twila, offering a soft sigh. "Decent enough. Been thinking a lot. Trying to reason out what to do. Zero and Blues are my brothers... but they need to know that I am their Commander first. People dont question General's decisions." Rock sighs... "But then... I am not General. I am just a Tool-User turned Savior. Some days I wonder if I am good enough to be what I am." Rock shakes his head, then looks to Twila, his eyes full of the need for reassurance, and gratitude for her presence here for him just to talk too.

Twila rests a hand on his nearest forearm and gentle squeezes. "Could be they're testing you two. Can't help but overhear them over the radio or see their responses over the message boards. You're right, General's not doubted. And, he wouldn't put up with much dissent within his ranks....because it would be dangerous for his troops if he ever did. Can't really work as a whole if they fall apart from within." She falls silent for a few moments and offers another squeeze. "You may see yourself as a 'Tool-User turned Savior' and, that may be completely true that's what and who you are. But if that's all you see yourself...that's all most others are going to see too. You're the Commander Rock. Stand by that. And when you can't, " she grins, "fake it. We won't know the differnce."

Rock looks to Twila intently with those sapphire blues, appreciating the soft squeeze on his bare forearm. He pauses, listening to every word... his face rapt as he absorbs them. He lowers his head slightly in thought, letting her finish before she speaks, accepting the second squeeze greatfully before sliding his arm back and taking hers into his. He nods slowly... "Testing me... It's no secret really... Blues wants me to become like him... as does Zero. They just want me to turn that way so I will kill Wily... kill Sigma... and end it. It has gone through my head a thousand thousand times... It would be over if I just killed them. But... I couldn't live with myself. Wily was one of my creators... and uncle... a second father. Sigma... is a monster. I /will/ stop him one day... even if I have to kill him... but I won't stoop to his level." Rock then raises his head, looking into her eyes with a slow nod. "The General wouldn't put up with it. You are right." Rock then slowly smiles, listening to her words... "Thank you, Twila... Thank you... you have helped me more then you know." Rock reaches foward, drawing her from her chair and over onto his lap and into a deep, warm, loving hug, holding her for long moments, whispering. "I don't know what I would do without you... thank you, Twila..."

Rock pauses, looking up to her with a soft smile... "Want your present?"

The young woman straightens a little within her new seat before adding after a little thought, "And...with Sigma and Wily both I guess I see how you could feel that way...maybe. But remember, neither are who they first were. And in Wily's case, he may try using that against you if ever he relaizes."

"And Rock, don't let anyone change you from being who you are..." She pleads. Twila returns the embrace when she's drawn into his lap and holds there for a little while and then looks back to him quietly. "Present? Other than the hug?"

Rock nods solumnly at Twila's pleading statement, "Don't worry. I wont let any one change me from who I really am, Twila. Not Zero, Not Blues, Not anyone." Rock holds her close for as moment, then pulls back and nods. He smiles softly, then hmms and nods at her following statement. "Wily might... he is cunning and devious... but I intent to keep him alive to get help, even if he has to spend the rest of his life in a straight jacket in a mental institution. That would be a mercy compairitively..." Rock then shakes his head, looking to Twila with a smile. "Onto a lighter subject. Yes. It is your Christmas present. I wasn't able to give it to you yesterday, but I hope today will do. Turn around, look away from me for a

"OK, Sir. Won't even give a lil peek, Sir," Twila teases as she does as asked and closes her eyes. "Ok...looking away, Sir. Looking away well, Sir. Just as you asked Sir. .

Rock smiles softly, wondering if he should just tickle her to pay her back for it, but he has something better. Rock raises one hand, calling forth from his subspace pocket... something. And Rock reaches foward, lifting up one of her arms slowly and drawing it back, his hands moving to her bare wrist as he fiddles there for a moment, a soft, barely felt weight felt now on her wrist. He then leans forward, whispering soflty. "You can open your eyes now."

When she does, on her wrist is now a /beautiful/ bracelet. It shimmer softly where it rests, the gems apon it in fact diamonds and rubies, interspersed one between the other, the diamonds slightly smaller, but the rubies are cut into small hearts. It is beautiful indeed, and looks as it may have cost a good deal of zenny.

Twila can't help but nearly giggle slightly as his hand moves across her middle. Just like him to intentionally or unintentionally (she's nearly convinced it's the former) to brush against where she's ticklish. But she does somehow manage to stay still.

Upon opening her eyes she brings up her wrist tho examine it's new addition. "Oh, Rock...." she exclaims with a little emotion. After all, he didn't have to. Her eyes slightly moisten as she turns back towards Rock ann embraces him. "Rock, it's beautiful!" Then, gives him a loving kiss on the lips, gently brushng hers against his.

Rock smiles, enjoying the reaction from her as he then returns the soft, loving kiss and tender embrace. He holds her for long, slow minutes, kissing her back as best he knows. Which is actualy quite well comparatively to the first time they ever kissed. Rock, like other robots, learns quickly.

After long, slow minutes of kissing. Rock slowly pulls back, offering a soft smile. "I am glad you like, Twi. I love you." Rock then pauses, raising up his other hand. "I also had someone else make this... an old man who I saved who turned out to be a old style stuffed dollmaker. It's a present for Kyo." Rock then calls forth something else from Subspace... a Plush Cabbit. It looks much like Kyo-ohki actualy, and Rock softly smiles down to it then looks to Twila, offering it to her. "I hope she likes it as much as Rush likes his new Teddy bear friend."

"I love you too, Rock." Twila Peterson let's loose one of her hands to snug the little thing closely to her. "I'm sure she will. You know how much she loves toys." When she relaizes the toy isn't cutting into her turf. For some reason, Kyo's been...quite territorial lately. "Thank you, Rock. that was very kind of you."

Rock's face then turns suddenly serious... noding to Twila with a soft smile. "Welcome, Twila... and I am afraid..."

Even here, from one of the closed windows, a low rumble in the distance is evident.

Rock sighs, looking to Twila. "Work calls. Proto Man is in trouble..." Rock reaches foward, giving her a hug for a moment, before slowly helping to set her on her feet as he rises.

The young woman nods in understanding as she moves to a stand. After returning the additional embrace she moves back to allow him to change into his armor. "I'll make sure the bay is ready and try to monitor from there. Godspeed...Commander."

Rock nods to Twila, offering a soft sigh, before he does indeed raise his left arm... donning his armor in his usual fashion. "Thanks, Twila... Blues is going to need it. He took on Sigma or something..." Rock shakes his head, looking to her. "Blues may have teleported away in time, but he may be appearing in the bay. I know Blues... he would protect himself like that." Rock shakes his head, looking to Twila with a tender smile. "Thanks, Twila. Commander it is." And with that, Rock heads for the exit to his rooms and out.

Twila Peterson heads out of Rock's room not long after the reploid does himself and makes certain his room is secured, heading down the hallway at...a less faster pace.

(Ch. A [Rock]) Twila Peterson transmits: 'Lemme know if/when you find him.'.
(Ch. A [Hunter-Main]) Rock transmits: 'All right, Twi. I will'.

(Ch. B [Dragonfire]) Rock transmits: 'Hunters. Alert! There was just an explosion from the Nogaki Commercial District. I got a report from someone that Protoman was fighting Sigma atop the Monorail. Proto Man may be in need of assistance if he didnt get himself out of there, but we need to go see what we can do for any wounded.'.
(Ch. B [Lighthawk]) Seminole transmits: 'Acknowledged, sir. Mike and I are enroute.'.
(Ch. B [Dragonfire]) Rock transmits: 'I am in route.'.

Hiryu slips out of the rec room smoothly, looking around with a faint frown. He spots Rock, and quickly moves to catch up, following. "What's going on?" To the point, yes.

Rock looks to Hiryu as he runs, beconing to him. "Protoman fought Sigma atop the Monorail in the Nogaki Commercial District. We may need some help if you want to give some."

Rock :is running for the Grav lift with Hiryu not far beside him, speaking back to him about what is going on. Then he calls for the grav lift, and with it's usual speed it arrives and he enters it. "Come on, Hiryu. Lets go. Thanks for this..."

Sarah Storm steps slowly out of the rec center and looks to be looking about. A thin frown is placed on her lips and the young girl looks rathr fusterated at something. Her eyes focus quickly on the others before she continues to search. "Umm...Ms. Twila. Have you seen Bandit? He is missing again. No dount has caused trouble."

Twila Peterson slows to a stop upon passing the Rec Room as the other two take their leave. "No, I'm afraid I haven't. But I'm sure he couldn't have gotten far. Have you tried the some of the other rooms on this floor?

Sarah Storm glances over towards Hiryu and Rock, watching silently as they leave. "Where are they going?" She then focuses back up at Twila and frowns. "Nah I haven't checked yet. I really don't want to be wandering about here. People will begin to think I am snooping around and that can get bad."

"Understandable," Twila muses. She still gets uptight somewhat when Kyo does it. "Explosion in the Commercial District. Apparently Proto had been combating Sigma there."

Sarah Storm blinks and begins to look very worried. She knows Proto is tough but isn't sure if he could beat the Maverick leader. "Umm...is he okay?"

(Ch. B [Dragonfire]) Rock transmits: 'Level 2 of the district. It seems Sigma blasted out part of the tracks and part of it is falling. a Repliforce VTOL is slowing it's decent... but they are going to his /hard/.'.
(Ch. B [Lighthawk]) Seminole transmits: 'And how exactly are we going to stop a falling
(Ch. B [Dragonfire]) Rock transmits: 'Good question. Just a section of it falling... The Repliforce seem to have it. I am going to lend some aid. Sem, See what you and mike can do to help get those passangers on the far section down the track off'.

"I don't know," Twila offers. "That's what Rock and Hiryu were going to check out. He may have transported out in time. Too soon to know." She pauses as another radio come in. "Sigma apparently blasted one of the tracks and part of a train is falling. Right now Hunters and Repliforce are arriving on the snece to help with injuries.

Sarah Storm nods and glances down. "I am sure he is okay. I wish I could help some but I will probably be in everyone's way."

(Ch. B [Lighthawk]) Seminole transmits: 'Acknowledged.'.
(Ch. B []) Twila Peterson transmits: 'The civilan authorities should be arriving in the area shortly to aid with any casualties. Any Mavericks still in the area?'.
(Ch. B [Dragonfire]) Rock transmits: 'Not that I can detect, Twila. Sigma must have left.'.
Screen> [OOC] Hiryu says, "Can someone give me a bit more detail on what happened? Part of the train fell, but not all?"
(Ch. B [Lighthawk]) Seminole transmits: 'They seem have run off, if any besides Sigma were there.'.

"Probably a mess down there. But from what I can tell they need some help with some of the crowds after all the Mavericks have sone." Twila muses upon hearing some more transmissions, and giving one herself. She gently shakes her head. "It's up to you if you want to go and help or not. As for being in the way...only if you believe yourself to me. I need to head down tho regardless." Unless if needed herself. "I'll keep an eye out for Bandit for you."

<Not long before then...>

Nogaki Commerical District Level 2 - Neo Tokyo
Up among the highest levels of the commercial district are the most expensive shops and businesses in Neo Tokyo. Here the nouveau rich can get everything from eye color to skin pigment alterations for the right price, as well as exotic goods from even the most remote parts of the globe. Hover-limos skim through the air, even though air vehicles are officially restricted in this part of the city. If you don't have great credit, you probably can't even afford to breathe the refined air up here.

Sigma roars as Blues reappears behind him and launches his gray and red body squarely into the Maverick Overlord. The two roll over once, electricity crackling between their bodies, before tumbling off the side of the train. They fall, the sky-scrapers blurring by them. Unfortunately Sigma's body is equipped with anti-gravity generators and he is quickly able to recover himself. His form rights itself in midair, his body crunched down. The would-be savior rasps, "The first of us, yet you lack such vision. Ah well. It is not too late to be corrected. And if not you shall perish with the humans you wish to protect." The Maverick attempts to wrap his huge hand around Protoman's face, while he ascends through the sky, regaining his altitude, and ram him, skull-first, through the glass-window of the train's first passenger car. The humans within scream as they see the two titans of power ramming towards them. Sigma's war-cry drowns them all out.

Sigma lands inside the train amid a shower of glass. The humans scream and run to either end of the car, their worst fear standing before them. Children begin to weep uncontrollably and, soon, the adults join them. Luckily, for now, Sigma is oblivious to their presence. The battle with Protoman rages on as Blues becomes a deadly, damaging dreidel. The ultra-fast top spins into Sigma, as he's struck by that attack for the second time by a Buster user, sending him flying into an unoccupied passenger bench. The metal frame twists around him as his face contorts into a snarl of rage. The cloaked war-machine charges forward, knee extended, seeking to connect it with Protoman's gut, "No taunt? No threat? No whit? Oh how different you are from your brother, pretender."

Protoman is sent flying from the train by the attack, soaring down into the darkness below. This of course causes several of the passengers to scream even louder. Luckily from Blues, he has that amazing ability that no one else does, allowing him to teleport long distances, and in this case, teleport to right behind Sigma with a partially charged Buster. "Your turn." He slams the weapon into Sigma's back, aiming it at the hole already created to prevent any further damage.

Sigma howls in pain as the buster digs into an already existing wound and fires. The blast exits through his lower abdomen, streaking over the heads of the passengers and into the door that connects two of the train carts. A red-hot hole is burnt where it strikes. Sigma now has a small hole of is own, with which one can see through his body. Sparks and shorts rip through the wound, but the Maverick overlord either doesn't notice or doesn't seem to care. Blues isn't the only one who can teleport, as the dark messiah demonstrates by blinking out existence and reappearing behind Protoman. The Maverick's twin sapphire eyes light with dark power. Energy streaks forth in a concentrated beam from both of them, seeking to amputate one of the hero's arms. The eye-beams cut through the air, burning the oxygen they come in contact with, streaking forth with lethal intent. "First you die," hisses Sigma, "Then they die."

At this moment, as chaos erupts below, a shadow flies above... And yet as the shadow notices what appears to be fire works... Or blasts from high powered weapons... It slowly swoops down, landing on a ledge remaining in the darkness...

As the train continues to streak along towards it's final destination, Blues can hear the ozone crackling behind him from the beams of energy that Sigma is powering up. Protoman ducks immediatly, and the beams streak over his head, burning two holes into the floor of the train. Slinging his shield from it's place on the Hunter's back, Proto holds it out infront of him and ignites his dash jets. Basically the same attack he had in Rockman: The Power Battles. It's intended to knock Sigma out of the train once more as Blues charges his Buster up for a stronger attack.

"You'll find out I'm far diffrent from my brother."

Sigma snickers, "True, but you're both failures." A shield forms in Sigma's hand, strong and purple, neatly blocking Protoman's own barrier. Sparks fly as shield meets shield, but Sigma's strength is superior and he is able to parry Blues' to the side. He brings the massive disk of metal back and swings it at Protoman's head, attempting to knock off the head of the first artificial being, "You both try so hard. You both give your all to save these pathetic creatures. But there will be one difference soon. By the end of this day he will be alive, and you will be dead."

As the shadow stands there on the ledge, it blinks as it looks around before its eyesnotice the train now getting away.

. o O (Nah...) O o .

But then there's a flash from outside the train as it passes a rather bright flying object, allowing the shadow to see for a single moment the interior, and the combatants....

. o O (Okay, so maybe that ii it...) O o .

And with that, the shadow takes off, after the train.

Protoman's Buster begins glowing an light green as it's charging mechanism reaches 100 percent. Slowly, the glow reaches over Protoman's entire body. As Sigma's shield comes into strike Blues while he lays on the ground, the Hunter knocks it away with his own buckler. "Wrong again, Shiney." Doing one of those ninja leaps off his back, Protoman is once again on his feet, reholstering the shield. He snaps his left arm out, grabbing Sigma by the wrist. The two are enveloped in a crimson light and teleported back onto the top of the train. Dropping to one knee, and aiming his Buster diagonally at Sigma, Blues yells out:

"Big Bang BLAST!"

Sigma's eyes widen in surprise as he's abruptly shifted to the top of the train. Blues' teleportation is cold and disorienting, so much different than the casual shift the Maverick is used to. He is even more taken aback when he receives the full might of Protoman's buster. The blast completely overwhelms Sigma, sending a bright ball of energy directly into his chest, searing his armor. He flies backward, propelled by the force of the destructive energy burning him. He is carried back several hundred yards before the energy detonates in a fiery shower. When the smoke cloud clears Sigma is still floating, his cloak is gone, his armor is singed from head to toe, and his left eye is welded shut, but power still surges through his frame.

The great Maverick roars, the same crimson aura consuming his body. Energy crackles across his frame, lightening dancing across his powerfully built arms and legs. He crosses his arms before him, a sphere of perfectly black energy appearing between his palms, "ENOUGH! EVERYONE HERE IS GOING TO DIE!!!" The energy grows and grows, the dark well of horrible energy between Sigma's palms ever-expanding. The power output is so great that a pair of buildings detonate behind him in a crimson burst. The air burns with the deadly force. "THIS IS YOUR END!" The dark messiah flings both hands forward, and the sphere between his hands explodes outward. A huge, long, dark beam of energy rips forth, enough power to consume everything in its path. The perfectly black energy descends, like a cascade of obsidian. The heavens themselves seem to scream with the power Sigma has called forth.

As the shadow gets closer to the train, a pair of glowing white orbs appear on it as it examines the train. But as it notices the fact that a pair of extreamly bright blasts both come from a single car, while almost all the screaming is coming from the others it chuckles slightly, matching speed with the train itself, before a cold dark tendril of the shadow lashes out, literally destroying the connectors between two of the cars.

The thing is, once the cars are disconnected and the cars with people start to slow down if not stop, the shadow continues allong, following after the car that doesn't staop...
Rock opens his eyes slowly, nodding as he raises his head to look to Twila. "Probably. I think Kain and I just need to sit down and hammer out the details, as we would both benefit from this. Both Strider and Hunter." Rock smiles softly, then pauses... nodding. "A Cipher... I am now really sure. I can say... I have never felt anything like it before in my systems. At first, it was overiding the protective barriers in my Buster with shere power, causing my eyes to turn white like you saw. It warns it's weilder if there is any Danger present, and it's power did that." Rock shakes his head, looking down to his left arm. "My Protection Systems have reasserted themselves however, and now that wont happen unless I am actualy using the Yin. As for what one is... it is some sort of Katana. From the inner diagrams in my mind, it has been folded no less then 5000 times... nearly 10 times the ancient katanas, which makes it amazingly strong. I am sure i could cut through a tank with the Yin." Rock then looks to Twila, nodding. "There are also many strange bits of technology included into it, as well as some strange energy signature I cannot for the life of me put into classification. My Buster can effectifly copy and reproduce it, but other then that..." Rock shakes his head... "I dont know. It's... remarkable... that is all I can say."
Screen> .oO(This is going to stink.)Oo.

Once again, Blues unslings his shield, bracing it infront of him, and maglocking his feet onto the train. The beam of energy slams into the shield, and Protoman is slammed into with the force mightier than the train he stands on could ever produce, but he stands firm, knowing that he must live for a little longer so that these humans might survive another day. HIs shield shatters and melts through the onslaught, but after the beam passes, Protoman is left standing there, sans helmet and san shield, his body smoking. Boy is he pissed off.

The Hunter runs forward, dropping onto his ass as several anti-grav units kick in. Like a skater who has just fallen on the ice, only with more grace and a deadlier intented, the Original Android slides towards Sigma.

Sigma looks back as most of the train is disengaged. The dark giant is now feeling quite unfulfilled. He has to work his aggressions out somewhere. The reploid savior descends to the car as the beam dissipates, "I thought that shield was unbreakable? Ah well, so you've delayed the human's destruction. Let us see what other parts of you can break." As Protoman slides towards him, foot first, Sigma leaps into the air. Blues passes right beneath him. Sigma pivots his heel and descends with all the force he can muster. His heels are aimed directly at Protoman's exposed head. A twelve foot metal frame descending on an unprotected surface with all its might. This, indeed, has the potential to suck.

As the shadow continues to fly with the train, its glowing white orbs blink as it looks in a window, fianlly able to see just who is fighting just in time to see the stomp.

. o O (Ya know he looks a lot cuter without the hel... OWOWOWOWOWOW... That looks like it hurt...) O o .

Blues shifts as he slides, trying to avoid getting stomped on as he moves. He does manage to save his head, but unfortunately, Sigma lands on his arm. Blues keeps sliding after this, too, which is bad Juju, cause while Blues continues to move... his arm doesn't, and the appendage is ripped cleanly from the Maverick Hunter's frame. Jumping to his feet again, with Mech Fluid pouring out of the wound, Light's first creation shifts in color once again, from scarlet to a light sky blue. Aiming the Buster unit at Sigma, winds begin to pick up around Blues, tossing his unkempt hair this way and that before a litteral cyclone of air is blasted out towards the dark messiah.

"Thank Storm Eagle for me, by the way."

Meredith merely happens to arrive on the scene, and cranes her head up to look at what a vast majority of the other people are looking at - just as Blues happens to be seperates from his arm. Having just got out of the hospital for trauma, this does not bode well for an all ready weakened state. She cringes, quietly...

What to do? Our hero does not look in the best of condition at all. She swipes an errant strand of platinum blonde hair away from her countenance, and tucks it behind a delicate ear. 'You can't just stand here and let him take a beating, can you? Be useful! Think, Mary! Think!' Her own motivation causes her to scan around the combatants, thinking.

Grace under fire, Meredith.
Screen> The Shadow, meanwhile just keeps watching through the window.

. o O (Even if he is cute, I shouldn't get involved... yet. After all no one is paying me. And odds are he wouldn't show his apreciation unless he was in real trouble. Then maybe I could get a kiss...) O o .

Sigma smiles as Blues goes on, arguably, the most radical weight loss program in the history of artificial life. In a frighteningly casual move the Maverick bends over and picks up the arm, tucking it away. He looks up slowly as Protoman speaks and sends a terribly powerful gust of win in his direction. As the blast draws nearer and nearer Sigma shows no sign of moving. Just before it connects the huge Maverick teleports, appearing directly in front of Blues. "You've lost the advantage, Protoman. Now see the reward those who protect the humans are all destined to receive." Sigma lunges forward, attempting to grab Blues by the scruff of his neck and hold him over the side of the train. Just in time to pass a huge, solid, slab of concrete called the Neo-Tokyo Party Tower. The wall and Blues draw closer and closer, as a devilish smile spreads across the dark messiah's metallic lips.

The shadow notices thw upcoming tower as well, and swerves, its stealth system disengaging revealing Wraith as she does a barrel roll over and literally onto the top of the train. As she lands on it though, the femme sighs as she once more considers the ramifications of her getting involved in this scuffle...

The Maverick leader has forgotten one important piece of information. Protoman can blink just like he does. As the Hunter is hefted into the night air, he begins to melt out of Sigma's finger tips, reappearing right behind the warrior/savior. His armor is green now. Bright, ugly, green. "To lose the advantage does not mean to lose the battle. While you may have a vision, the Maverick Hunters will always have something that you don't." .oO(Yeah, that thing is pretty much the stupidity to keep fighting against odds they'll surely lose, but hell if I'm gonna tell him that.)Oo. There's an intake of air, and then a popping sound as a large missile is fired off from Blues' buster. If the weapon impacts Sigma as is hoped, it'll shatter opened and drench the monster with alot of acid.

The only thing she can think of to do is find the nearest communication device and call it in, which she should do in relatively good time. She speaks calmly to the answering representative, despite how badly her heart is pounding.

Sigma's remaining eye flashes with bright blue energy and the acid bomb explodes prematurely, drenching the top of the train with the corrosive fluid, "Truly? Inform those of us who are unaware, what do the Hunters have? To me it looks like a death wish!" The grim giant charges forward, crimson aura blazing about him. A footprint is burnt into the metal of the train where he steps. His fists fly forward in a deadly combo. A right hook, followed by a left, six quick jabs to the stomach, finishing with an uppercut. The searing fists burn through the air. "Show me! What is it that is so much more powerful than my vision!"

Protoman ducks and rolls, his form going back to scarlet colored as he comes up behind Sigma. "Well, yeah, that's about what it comes down to, but it works for me." Snapping up the Mega Buster, Blues fires off a trio of low powered blasts toward the Maverick Leader.

Sigma catches each of the energy blasts with his bare hands, crushing them out of existence with minimal effort. The tiny energy balls singe his hands, causing smoke to rise from each, but that's about it, "Pathetic," growls the Maverick Overlord as he barrels forward. His hands extend to seize Blues by the.. scarf, oddly enough. The dark messiah is attempting to whirl the smaller android over his head and toss him into a nearby building, adding injury to insult, "You've shown me nothing, for that is the answer to my question. Nothing is greater than the vision of the Mavericks."

Protoman is swung around by the scarf... how humiliating...

After being tossed into the building, and subsequently falling towards the ground, Blues grabs onto one of those convinient flag polls that are always around and cartoons and uses his one good hand to propell himself back up towards the train. As he goes, his form begins to glow a bright red, and flames start jumping from place to place. Finally, his entire form just bursts into flames, and a giant ball of fire expands with him as the center.

Sigma shakes his head at the Maverick Hunter, "Your stolen techniques aren't any improvement on your real ones, android. Allow me to show you what true skill is. Genuine reploid power can always overcome false abilities. I shall demonstrate." The dark messiah side-steps Blues, allowing the red-hot android to burn right by him. The Maverick raises both hands over his head, locking them together, and brings the hammer fist down with all of his might, directly at the back of Blues' head. At the same time the reploid savior's knee rises in a swift upper motion to connect with Protoman's gut, should the first blow knock him from the air, "I will be sure to leave enough of you intact for your family to recognize. My only regret is not being there to see that fool human's face when he looks about your mangled corpse. I sincerely hope the shock will be too much for his old heart to take."

Wraith is fast, and has a lot of skills (Most of them involving burning food, or cooking Spegetti-Os) but she isn't exactly strong. In fact as she watches a bolt destroy the track her expression becomes one of terror. Terror that takes hold as she just jumps into the air, flying to anearby ledge...

Repliforce VTOL <Razor> broadcasts, "And since Sigma is gone, Repliforce can now arrive... Landing on the sky train, the VTOL stops as it lands... and... the doors open!..Unless Sigma blue *hehepun* it up already."

And since Sigma is gone, Repliforce can now arrive... Landing on the sky train, the VTOL stops as it lands... and... the doors open!..Unless Sigma blue *hehepun* it up already.

Repliforce VTOL <Razor> zooms into the area...and guess what the first thing they see is? Yep, a falling sky train car...with a burst of speed it heads towards the falling skytrain car...duh duhduh.. here comes the cavalry... hopefully they won't make things worse^^.

Repliforce VTOL <Razor> flies under the train car, and hovers there for a few moments before bursting upwards towards it. The car smashes into the VTOL, and one from above can almost see all the little sparks fly out and about...and see the metal screeching and partially caving in into the VTOL...

Repliforce VTOL <Razor> 's thrusters ignite under the VTOL and...it seems like its trying to hold up the car train and slow its descent...Which it succeeds somewhat at doing.. except its still falling rather rapidly to the ground with the VTOL under it.

Rush rockets down onto the scene, in a modified form of the Rush Jet built for two sat down riders. And indeed, two riders are what is coming. One in brilliant blue and the recognizable form of Mega Man. The other is a human, clad in dark black material. The pair launch ontop of Rush for the situation at hand. Rock's eyes opening wide as they see exactly what is happening and what the Repliforce are doing.

Several minutes after the initial response on the Repliforce frequency, a black, SR-71 Blackbird jet swoops in from the west. It comes to a halt near the Razor, VTOL jets keeping it aloft. A loud, deep voice is heard yelling to the Razor. "YOU GUYS NEED SOME HELP WITH THAT? OR IS IT WELL IN GRASP?" A part spider, part scorpion reploid makes the call from the wing, very close to the Razor itself. Yep, Repliforce and its wierd aft CRTs are in the house...Now where's that wacky bison that runs Crisis Response?
(
Repliforce VTOL <Razor> radios the SR-71, "All help is appreciated!!", complete with sounds of important things breaking... like the VTOL's roof... however its still attatched on so there's the good thing... The car and the VTOL slow to a reasonable speed.. but that's not going to matter much if the thrusters give out.. and it looks like it might happen soon...If no help is recieved its going to be really close... and why risk it?

Seminole heads for the section of the track where the train originally fell, clearing as many onlookers away as he can. No point in letting them get hurt after the damage has been done.
Screen> Rush rockets down low for an instant, giving Hiryu enough time to leap down, before he too rockets up and for the Razor and the fallen section of Train. Rock raises his left arm up, it shimmering slightly before from it extends a strange looking Grappnel. Rock hovers there above the train, lowering his buster and launching it down to latch onto the train. It may not be much, but Rock kicks in all of Rush's strength and his own to help with the falling section to slow the descent and set it down easy... the cord contecting the strange looking grapnel with the train glowing softly, being made of some metal, and channeling currents of plasma through it. Rock is nothing if not surpremely adaptable.

The arachnid nods, sending a tightbeam radio response within, before disappearing under the fuselage. It stands on all eights, suddenly shooting thin strands of some sort of super-chemical web at the hovertrain. The main cargo doors slide open, revealing four fliers. A bat, a hawk, an osprey, and a condor all swoop from within to without. They take up strategic locations on the hovertrain. Each taking one quarter of the weight, minus what the arachnid's abilities are taking. Then out stalks the coolest character here, literally.

Major Cryogen Bison stomps out of the cargo bay, a gray suit of kevlar-cloth armor covering him entirely. Black web-like lines criss-cross his form, which moves simply across the undercarriage of the fuselage, slowly taking assessment of the other ship. "Gonna be one heckuva landing." He shakes his head, "Gonna have to make sure it doesn't make any lasting impressions...Beyond what we already got." There's a crackle of shattering ice and he plummets from the Blackbird, landing on his hands and rolling over in an aikido movement. He continues along over the train to the edge, then over it, sticking by way of micro-freezing. He stops at the edge of the Razor, quietly looking down upon the city itself. He surveys other areas, "Greetings Commander X...Thanks for the help."

Then white energy swirls over his form, the crackling of ice distinct in the air. He rumbles, quietly making note of the position of other things on the ground and in the air...Then he simply aims his arm cannon, his hand retracted, at the ground. There is a loud roar of power being released and a glacially powerful crackle of flash-freezing as potential energy and cryogen agents fly through the air, creating a sort of ice tower. The beam continues to lance toward the ground, rapidly building up power as it nears higher altitudes and more cold air.

"Hope this doesn't cool your jets too much, guys...Just try not to make this too heavily damaging."

Within the distince some sirens from local authorities are heard heading for ground zero to offer emergency care if there should be any in need...regardless if those injured are human, android, or reploid.

Hiryu drops off into a loose roll, coming up to his feet as he looks around. Seeing Seminole, he starts in his direction, ushering as many civilians away as he possibly can in his relatively unfriendly manner.

Seminole spots Hiryu as well, though doesn't linger on the Strider. He stands watch over the broken part of the car and tracks, making sure nobody besides authorized personnel get through to the damaged monorail track.

Repliforce VTOL <Razor> and the car slowly fall to the ground....Thanks to the additional support it looks like this might not be another disaster after all. They are actually rather near the ground..but since its slowing down.. its also taking longer to hit the ground... However it has been falling a while so it hits the ground with the VTOL and both give rough jumps and hops and crashes...The car itself is in one piece but there may still be injured above it, especially after hitting the VTOL the first time... The VTOL is an absolute mess by the way... However it doesn't explode... but smoke seems to billow out from the engine.. the car sways somewhat unsteadily on the VTOL as if its about to slide down.

Commander X yanks his left arm up, tightening the cable to full tension, Rush's jets blasting as he grips onto it with lets and free arm for dear life. Rush's circuits and his own shudder with the immense straight of this action, helping the VTOL lower it down slowly to the ground, Rock's buster groaning shrilly and his face tensing with pain.

(Ch. B [Dragonfire]) Rock transmits: '*a shrill whine of metal gratting against metal, Rock's voice groaning with effort* Twi... la... can you make... sure... there is some... asprin?'.
(Ch. B []) Twila Peterson transmits: 'Definately. I'll...a...ask later.'.
(Ch. B [Genius!]) Quire transmits: 'You know I have an anti-gravity device designed for such a thing. I use it for heavy lifting in my lab.'.
(Ch. B [Dragonfire]) Rock transmits: 'To... late, Quire... We... got it. Barely. ...ow... The locals and the flying ships... can evac... those on the... back cars.'.
(Ch. B [Genius!]) Quire transmits: 'In other good news I invented a cure for the hang-over.'.

X is pretty lucky, at least he's not draining all the coolants from his systems, over-heating more than half his body, and causing a massive systems failure in about 65% of his systems like Cryogen Bison is. He grunts, stumbling backwards into the the VTOL, crashing through a window. He lands on his aft and stays there, holding his head slightly. "Remind me never to do something like that, ever again..." He mutters something under his breath. He blinks a few times, "Carry on, Fellow Fighters for Freedom." He then climbs out the window, his arm cannons beeping incessantly. He pops open a mini-pack on his utility belt and pulls out an energy can. "Bottoms up." He drains the can quickly and starts his ascent of the VTOL to the train.

He's all out of cryogens in his main tanks, but we're talking a super-hero semi-wannabe here. He finally reaches the train and rips open a window. "Ok, everyone remain calm...Major Cryogen Bison of Repliforce Special Operations division is here to save the day." He grins, popping some rather large canisters from his utility belt and locking them into place on each of his twin arm cannons. He nods slowly, then looks around, "Now, here's what we're gonna do. You all buckle up, sit down, and hold on /REAL/ tight." He disappears out the way he came in, a light ice spray coating it. He quickly starts to anchoring the Razor and the train, rushing all along the rooftop, freezing them together, with glacial amounts of ice. "Gotta love MSE and their micro-cryogen tanks..." He then carefully glances over the edge of the ship to check how long till impact...Not long it would appear.

Some of the city's emergency veichles can be seen arriving closer at the scene...although the indivuduals appointed to be these civil servants can only help those they can reach at this point...and that would only includes the scant few injured who are already on the ground...

X groans, even as the car is set down with a low /THRUM/ of an impact and flying snow in the clear area to the side. X swiftly disengages the Mag Beam(this right?) drawing it slowly back up to his arm, even as Rush slows, moving to just hover there as Rock leans foward over the handle bars... panting heavily as he sucks in oxygen to cool his internals... his left arm hanging limply. Ow. Rock then looks to Cryogen... before calling out a message to the Repliforcers, sighing softly and wincing in pain.

(Ch. C [Twila]) Rock transmits: 'Repliforcers. Use your ships to begin evatuating the cars still up on the track. The Local emergency vehicles will be here soon to help deal with the injured.'.

(Ch. B [Dragonfire]) Rock transmits: 'Good work, Hunters.'.

The various public servants scatter and begin helping out wherever they can however, regardless. A middle age man, and a reploid, both paramedics, start heading over while heading past Seminole with only a quiet "'Scuse us," that can be heard. A few head out in other directions. However, a small handful awaits permisson from the rescuers to enter the now downed train to reahc those who may be inside.

Cryogen Bison blinks as he suddenly realize that impact is full in 3...2...1...There's a loud crack and roar as the car and himself slam fully into the Razor. Man, was it ever a good thing he made mini-ice slides leading to the roof itself. He makes a giant bison shaped dent in the roof, the squeak and shrill cries of agony the metal makes are piercing. Cryogen finally falls through, looking at Phoebus, "Yeah, evacing the Razor would be a good idea..." He blinks a few times, taking stock of his own injuries. He sighs and nods to himself, o0(Good thing these legs Crosswire hooked me up with are double-strength...) He brushes himself off, quickly double-tapping the Spider-Bison symbol on his chest. There's a bright flash of light and his armor phaseshifts to Hazard. He nods, leaping out of the hole in the ceiling, landing on the roof next to the train. "Ok, everybody out...Now." He rips the opening apart, smashing the ice out of the way. "Anyone that's severely injured, call out, I'll get you out." He looks up to the Blackbird, "Avenger, get some webchutes going to get these people off the Razor quick, ala 747 evac, Plan 7Z." He folds his arms, stepping into the train to look at the injured while the arachnid reploid flips off the Blackbird and starts making slides from the roof on down, ala plane wing evacuation slides...Only with webbing.

Phoebus runs out of the area back to base...He does look a little tired and worn out though.

The head of the present batch of civilian aid is a 32 yr. old Asian male, gathering news from his workers via his broadband and then goes on to reporting the activities back to his own supervisors...and occiasionlly cursing in Japanese.

Meanwhile, commuters who found themselves the unlucky victems of Sigma's antics attempt to brace themselves on the train. Although paniced, generally they attempt to maintain some form of calm...regardless of how "fake" it may be. When The Repliforcer asks his question a little girl near the back raises her hand. "My mommy won't wake up, mister!"

Rock slumps over Rush's handlebars, giving a slow sigh as he directs him down for the ground as he still gulps air into his body to cool his internals. He has the robotic equivilent of a dislocated shoulder at the moment, his face twisted with pain as he sets down before the area where Seminole and Hiryu are, looking over to them before looking back to the Repliforce. "I think they and the locale forces will be able to deal with the rest. Good work, Seminole. Thanks Hiryu." Rock looks back to them, offering a smile.
Screen> Cryogen Bison blinks, looking toward the little girl. o0(Holy mother of Zeus...This could be bad...) He leaps up and snapping out his Spark Cutter and engaging beast mode. He quickly wallcrawls to the girl. He hangs upside down, "Don't worry...I'm sure, she'll be alright...You got Repliforce here to help her..." He sends out a radio signal to his CRTs...<Medics, I got you a possible fatality...Get your afts down into Car Theta, on the quadruple.> >Copy, roger that.< <I said MOVE IT! I'm not letting anyone die on this.> >Understood. Cyzygy Beetle deployed.< <Copy.> He flips over, holding the woman carefully, stabbing a blade up to slice a hole through the roof, so the diminutive reploid medic can enter. A reploid resembling a Japanese beetle flutters in and starts dianosis. His 4 foot frame easily alighting on his boss' shoulder to start the diagnosis and surgery.
S
Seminole looks from his guard duty, looking over at Rock with a bit of concern. He salutes his CO politely, then inquires, "Will you make it back to the Labs alright, sir?"

From a nearby storefront, a single solid figure watches, hrming thoughtfully.

Repliforce Dropship <Falconis> arrives on the scene!...again...and again..and again...well this time its probably the last!..and it floats down right next to the train tracks and opens its doors...Phoebus heads out and starts ushering people into the drop ship.

Hiryu ignores Rock and Seminole, moving to enter the train, so as to help Cryogen help evac civilians. A few well-timed jumps, and he's up the makeshift slide. "Repliforce, may I assist?"

Aethon turns to the others. "Okay, uh..." He searches for some way he could possibly assist the expert team of rescuers.

Some of the fellow passangers attempt to help with some of their fellows, leaving the rest to depart....in attempts to aid in the operation by being a help, not a hinderance. Most of the injuries aren't as serious as they could have beem, although the most appears to be scraps, cuts, and brusies. However, several broken bones aren't unheard of.

One of the commuters picks up the little girl and tries to calm her, "My sister. She has a pulse...I checked..." she explains...trying to calm her neice

"Mama?"

(Ch. C []) Storm Owl transmits: 'I have just arrived at RHQ. I will fly to Neo-Tokyo in my air platform as quickly as I can.'.

Rock looks to Seminole, shaking his head slowly. "I should be fine, Sem." Rock looks down to Rush, who whimpers slightly, but gives a reassuring bark. "Probably we just need rest, and My shoulder..." Rock winces. "May need some work. Iam lucky I didnt get it torn off..." -_- Rock watches Hiryu go to the train, offering a nod. He would be helping, but he isnt sure if he even could besides get in the way. He then looks to Seminole. "Good work, Sem."

Seminole nods to Rock, then glances back at the train. "Mike's helping among the civilians right now. Any further orders?"

Cryogen Bison nods to the little girl, "It's ok...Don't worry..." He smiles, reassuringly, phasing his helmet out. He nods to the other lady, then looks at his insectian helper. The beetle nods, "She'll be fine...Just sudden trauma syndrome. Nothing a little rest and a few nights in the hospital won't clear up." He smiles helpfully, picking the woman up and fluttering to the ground. Cryogen on the other hand looks to Hiryu, "Yeah...Check the other cars for the injured. If you can, tend to their wounds, if not, call in Cyzygy. Got it?"

Rock nods to Seminole, leaning back on Rush and slowly dismounts the robodog. Rock looks to his shoulder and winces, even as Rush transforms back to a robodog, looking shakey. "Lets stay and see what more help we can offer, Sem. My shoulder can wait." Rock shakes his head, looking to the trains and slowly advances, sending a radio message out to the repliforcers

The watching figure makes himself known, leaping out of the shadow and landing in a crouch next to X. "If there's any help, I would be more than happy to provide it." Kain intones simply.

(Ch. C [Twila]) Rock transmits: 'Good work, Repliforce. You saved a good many lives today.'.

Hiryu nods once to Cryogen, stepping out of the car, making his way back to the track. Finding a maintenance ladder, he works his way back up to the rest of the train, entering.

The little girl hugs her aunt tighter as she watches her mother carried out. She then whispers something toher aunt, resulting in a shushing from the woman. They follow the reploid until he' te little one coos. "You're nice..." the child says as she's carried.

Cryogen Bison nods to Hiryu, then smiles at the little girl. "Why wouldn't I be? I'm one of the good guys." He looks around the train, considering it slowly...He also considers what's going on around him. He salutes, "See your around, little one..." He then runs toward the back of the train, moving into the next car.

(Ch. C [None]) Patriot transmits: 'It seems the situation has been resolved, the Fortress II's deployment has been canceled.'.
(Ch. C [None]) Phoebus transmits: 'Thank you, Commander ooc: that's what everybody else calls him right? ic: I'm not sure if you know this yet but your hunter, Blues, was apparently fighting Sigma before we arrived... When we arrived neither were present. Or at least, I didn't see him.'.
(Ch. C []) Storm Owl transmits: 'Jolly good show, all of you. Repliforce, don't forget to file a report on the incident.'.

The girl waves towards the Reploid soon after she and her aunt dissapear within the throng of the other victems to be tended too.

The Blue Bomber blinks, spining of an instant to look to the voice. A soft smile then spreads on his lips as he sees the figure of Kain. He offers a bow, gripping his injured arm with the other, as if to hold it on. "Thanks, Blue Dragon Commander. I think most of the Repliforce and the Locals have gotten to it. But Hiryu looks to be going up into the main train to help the other casualties." Rock looks to where Hiryu is indeed going, nodding. "Help would be appreciated... I just hope my brother is all right. Sigma did this... and maybe..." Rock pauses... then shakes his head. "I wont believe he is dead untill I see a corpse."

Hurricane Hawk finally arrives after a good while, he had planned on catching the drop ship but kinda missed it. on arrival he begins helping out Phoebus in filling the dropship.

(Ch. A [Rock]) Twila Peterson transmits: 'You alright?'.
(Ch. A [Hunter-Main]) Rock transmits: 'I am *wince* All right. Just my shoulder is damaged. Helping set down a 2 ton traincar isnt fun...'.
(Ch. A [Rock]) Twila Peterson transmits: 'Uh....no. Guess not. Many injuries there?'.

A boy of age 4 seems to break free from his shaken mother and hugs one of Rock's legs tight...clinging. "I love you Mega-Man," he whispers...shaken himself.

(Ch. A [Hunter-Main]) Rock transmits: 'A good few. But i think the locals can handle them. Sigma I dont think manage to... *a pause* ... It's times like this that make being a Hunter worth it...'.
(Ch. A [Rock]) Twila Peterson transmits: 'Hmmm?'.

Commander X pauses, looking down in the middle of sending radio messages out and about... to the little 4 year old boy who clings to his leg in the snow. And he slowly kneels down, offering a slow, tender smile before he draws the little boy into a soft hug. "I love you too, little one. Dont worry now... go back to your mama. You will all be safe and home soon. I promise."

(Ch. A [Hunter-Main]) Rock transmits: 'Just... a little boy came up to me and hugged my leg. *his voice full of... amazement? Disbelief? anyway... something barely discribable*'.

The boy returns the hug to his hero accidently touching his shoulder.. "Isawyouwiththetrainandhowyou helditup.Thatwasneat!!!" He babbles before it sinks in. "Well...gotta go now. Buh-bye." And with a wave to his face he heads back to his mother as she steps from the crowd to gather her son. She chides him with, "Don't run away like that!" with which he returns, "But I hadda give Mega-Man a hug. He's my hero...." he claims as she carries him away.

Rock gives a slight wince at the touch on his shoulder, but otherwise is keeps his face straight, smiling softly even as the boy runs off to his mother. Rock then looks to the flash of energy even as Patriot appears, blinking and then offering a broad smile. "Patriot! Good to see you!" Rock looks back to the train, still holding his arm strangely as Rush stands by his side. Rock having suffered the robotic equivilent of a dislocated shoulder.

A strange noise emits. Light bends, it twists, colors converting into different shades, nothingness transforming into solid matter... within the blink of an eye, Patriot appears before the scene.

Aethon looks around. "I think everything that can be done is being done. At least, everything I'd be able to do."

Kain frowns momentarily. "I'm sure...Protoman...is fine, Mega Man," Kain says seriously, "However, I can safely say that this time Sigma may've bitten off more than he can chew." He looks over at where Hiryu is and nods once, "I believe I shall join him in his endenavor, Mega Man, if you would excuse me..." Kain races off towards the trains.

Hiryu moves slowly through the train, checking for people who are injured, but otherwise not doing much for morale. He's mostly finding bruised and frightened people, but no real injuries so far.

The Blue Bomber nods to Kain, "I agree, Kain... I agree... and take care." Rock watches Kain run off, nodding, before looking back to send Seminole to go help keep the civilians back and aid the med crews... He then looks back to the Repliforce, wincing slightly as he shifts his arm painfully.

Phoebus heads back into the Falconis after a bit. He radios both Rock and Bison with a, "I'm going to make a trip down with the falconis...It shouldn't take too long to take care of more civilians."

One of the emergency workers pauses to offer a nod towards Eildath he continues working. "Thanks for your help."

Repliforce Dropship <Falconis> 's doors close as a few last passengers make their way in..then it floats a bit to the side before moving downwards towards the ground...an unoccupied area of course... to drop off its current passengers.

Patriot steps forward toward Rock from his flank. He smiles, tilting his head and watching the young one run off after embracing the blue bomber. "If you keep this up, you'll have a fan club."

Kain nods once to his radio, before climbing up the ladder of the train, and proceeding to search for civilians, either injured, or unable to leave, thanks to the accident. (or incident, as it were.)

WHile the little boy is carted off to join the rest he points to the fleeing form of bright light. "Who's dat, Mama?" he asks. "Living night light? I have one of those in my room!"

"Not that big, dear," the woman anwers.

"Can I get one that big?"

All the quiet, shy business woman can do at this point, having returned from her office, is look on to the proceedings with a quiet sigh. She was able to do something constructive after all.

A slight smile creases her thin lips, and turns her eyes upward toward the train in question.

Rock shakes his head slowly, looking back to Patriot and offering a smile. "I bet I have one all ready." Rock shakes his head. "Well... We have this place mostly under control thanks to your men. Give the men who were flying that VTOL my thanks... if they werent under that train in time... it would have been a catasrophe... Sigma is going to seriously pay for this." Rock sighs, shaking his head before looking to Patriot. "Good to see you again."

Repliforce Dropship <Falconis> finally lands on the ground and lets out its cargo..er..passengers....Some probably have no injuries whatsoever and some have slight injuries..that's bison's choice :D.

Meredith adjusts her collar and continues into Vichi's for the administrative dinner appointment made prior this week - and halts before turning to the intended direction. Idly, her hand lifts to her ear as her radio crackles to life. Her initial smile grows vaguely, and her soft voice returns the sudden page.

Patriot nods with a mutual response. "You too." He looks around. "I'm sorry it had to be under such circumstances, but atleast the predicament didn't come to... to what it -could- have been." His eyes drift back to Rock. "Our troops will assist in any way they can of course, though I apologise. Normally we would have the majority of the Marines focused on major cleanups such as this, the numbers may seem a bit scarce, we're spread out at the moment. The others are currently at the UN plaze for the coming summit meeting."

The Blue Bomber nods to Patriot in understanding, wincing slightly as he adjusts his arm and holds it tightly with his free arm, looking back to the incident. "Thanks, Patriot. Dont worry about it. The ones who got here were enough, and the locals are helping a great deal here." Rock smiles softly, then shakes his head slowly, offering a soft sigh. "So much to do... so little time to do it in." Rock looks to Patriot. "Do you think you have everything under control here?

(Ch. A [Rock]) Twila Peterson transmits: 'Becareful with that arm until you can get it tended to.'.
(Ch. A [Hunter-Main]) Rock transmits: 'Dont worry. I am. I will be back at base soon.'.

(Ch. B [Dragonfire]) Rock transmits: 'When Proto gets back to base... He is going to need some major repairs... and a good talking to.
(Ch. B [Wideband]) Dawn transmits: 'Uh...Protoman pretty much refuses to let me touch 'im, bro. Tried to fix him last time and he aimed his Buster at me..'.
(Ch. B [Dragonfire]) Rock transmits: 'Dont worry, Dawn.'.

Kain stops at a train cart, that has voices in it, "Are you all okay?"

The passengers within replies, "We're okay. Mostly bruises, and I have a man here with his groin muscle pulled. However, we can't get out."

Kain nods once, "Get away from the door, I'll get you free shortly."

Kain draws out the Yin Cipher, and allows it to flare briefly, before swinging at the door, slashing it loose. The previously trapped passengers gladly gets off the train, a woman and a man helping the stated injured man.

The woman turns to look at Kain and smiles, "Thanks."

Kain merely nods, "It's my duty." Before continue to search...

Patriot blinks and ignores the question for the moment. "Geeze, your hurt... get back and get that seen to!" Not so much as an order of course, but definately a sincere concern... the unmilitaristic upbringing of Patriot does surface, every now and then. He nods reassuringly. "We can handle things from here."

(Ch. C [None]) Phoebus transmits: 'Meredith Ables, the woman who placed the distress call, would like to thank the Maverick Hunters and Repliforce as a whole.'.

Phoebus of course, goes back to evacing people...and will probably continue to do so untill everybody's on board the falconis... or on the ground.

Hiryu clears through several trains, showing people doors with minimal conversation, looking for actual injuries. He finds a person with a broken arm, helps him stand, gets a couple other passengers to help him out. He then reaches where Kain's already started passing, and moves to join him. "Slow moving. Scared people don't handle themselves well."

Rock nods to Patriot, before looking up to the higher car. "There are two humans helping up in the upper cars. They are friends. They can lend a hand getting everything taken care of." Rock then offers a grin to Patriot. "Yeah... helping set down a 2 ton train car does that." Rock winces, cluctching his arm as a spasm of pain sudders through him. Rush at his side looking slightly wobbly, and whimpers up to his master who offers him a soft pet before returning his hand to his arm. "Thanks, Patriot." Rock looks down to Rush, then up to the train, sending off some transmissions.

Kain nods, "Not that I expect anything less. According to Rock, this was a Maverick, handled by Sigma himself. I have no idea what they've done, save for this Train wreck, and what occurred to Protoman. There's no doubt in my mind that these people are scared." He cuts opens another passenger cart, setting them free.

Sarah Storm slowly steps into clear view and crosses her arms across her chest. Gently she shakes her head and watches the others help the passengers. She doesn't seem to go over and help Kain or Hiryu, instead she begins taking out several medical kits from her backpack.

Hiryu nods once to Kain, noticing the lack of cars remaining. "Nearly finished. This went well, considering." He seperates from the other Strider, opening up one more door, letting those who can exit on their own before entering.

Screen> Patriot looks up. "Any help is always appreciated." His attention shifts to Rock. "See to yourself, you've deserved some rest. I'm only sorry that I wasn't here to help... but I'm here now, and I will help." The reploid nods to Rock. "If you'll excuse me commander. I am needed." He teleports from Rock's flank and onto the higher car. However, not before sending a transmission.

Kain motions the passengers leaving the newly freed train cart over to Sarah, "She would take a look at any serious injuries you may have," he intones before going to the final train cart, and slashes it open allowing them to get medical attention before stepping the cart.

Rock nods to Patriot, before turning and looking to Rush, who nods before transforming into his Jet Mode. Rock carefuly mounts, clamping his feet onto him with his maglocks. He then pauses, blinking at he notices Dawn and Sarah. He pauses, responding to Dawn's earlier transmission and sending one to Sarah while Rush ignites his jets and they lazily... about skateborder speed... head off for the Labs.

<A little later...within the Medical Center...>

(Ch. B [Dragonfire]) Rock transmits: 'I am in route.'.
(Ch. B [Dragonfire]) Rock transmits: 'Twila? Asprin?'.
(Ch. B []) Twila Peterson transmits: 'Ready...along with a couple of blue Band-Aids...'.

South Africa statement Tue Dec 26 GNN Report
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
President Pascal of South Africa gave a public statement today, regarding several recent issues. Here are some exerpts.

In responce to Clark: "I offer my greatest sympathy for former President Clark, and extend my thanks to the Maverick Hunters for saving his life and the lives of those on the ship. As to harboring murderers? Well, I'm afraid he doesn't quite have his facts straight. Each and every Maverick involved in that attack, and ones like it, since I have extended amnesty, have lost it." He shakes his head sadly, "I'm sorry to say that I was wrong about these individuals, and I'm not afraid to admit it. Approximately 95 of the Reploids in the group known as Mavericks have lost their amnesty since it was offered, and are no longer welcome in South Africa. I do, however, continue to place my trust in the remaining individuals, hoping that they truly desire the peace I have to offer. For that is what all of us want, deep down. Peace."

On the subject of Repliforce: "I appreciate the Repliforce as much as I do the Hunters. Their assistance in world affairs has undeniably saved the lives of thousands, perhaps millions. However, I do not wish their military force to be in South Africa solely because I know that it is made up of individuals, and I know that individuals sometimes put their own wants and needs above others. Yes, that sometimes includes myself. They are still more than welcome in South Africa, in a non-military format. South Africa's own police are more than adequate enough to deal with the occasional skirmishes that arise."

More on peace: "Yes, everyone wants peace. Even the Robot Masters, even the Mavericks. Their definition of peace may be very different from our own, but that is what they, ultimately, want. If you can understand a person's wants and needs, you can better understand the person, and therefore assist or resist them more effectively."

On himself: "I speak, not as a Reploid, but as a person, and individual. The elected President of the nation of South Africa. The one thing I do not tolerate is intolerance. I believe that all living things, organic or robotic, deserve the chance to live in freedom, so long as they do not restrict the freedom of others."

On the Mavericks still in South Africa: "I refuse to refer tot hem as Mavericks. Mavericks, those are what have been attacking ships, planes, cities, causing destruction. Those who used to be Mavericks are Reploids, just as I am. If they wish to abandon their old sins and live in peace, I'm not about to stand in their way. After all, wouldn't you all prefer a peace-loving Reploid over one who has been goaded and pushed back into violence?"

The view returns to the reporter, who continues on about inflation in lower Slobovia.
==============================================================================

Twila is currently at a terminal with headset, apperently playing monitor. She was sceduled for later this evening anyway...hense...the reason for her staying home this time while the others were called. To her credit, she made certain the local authroities were notified...although in truth there were several calls which had coordinated with them...from Repliforce as well as civilians. Still, at least she was able to help within her own way. Not much else seems to have occured tonight...save a news report concerning some recorded words from the new leader of South Africa.

The doors to the med bay open slowly, and through it steps the figure of Mega Man, his good arm up and holding his injured to his side as he looks about slowly. He pauses, looking over and to Twila where she sits, offering a soft smile, "Hey, you." Rock shakes his head, walking over slowly, wincing slightly. "I may need to spend some time in the repair chamber tonight... but can you see what you can do before Kain, Sarah, and Hiryu get here?" Rock smiles softly, slowly sitting up on one of the medtables. He pauses however, looking over ot said news report and listening to the tail end, making a note to review it fully later before looking to Twila

"Hey you, back," Twila says, getting up. Dipping her chin she heads over towards him and gestures that he relives himself of his armor for a momemnt, if he would be so kind. "So I can get better to it." She tells him. "This shouldn't take that long really."

While she asks, Twila retrieves a medical scanner. Although, it's not really needed. She can see the damage. Always better to be on the safe side just in case something slips her notice.
Rock nods and winces, closing his eyes for the instant it will take to remove said armor, his eyes closed and his body tenses at the shiver of pain that rushes through him. Then he opens his eyes, looking to Twila, nodding. "Yeah..." Rock winces slightly.

(Ch. B [Wideband]) Dawn transmits: 'I'll take 'em to the Rec-Room.'.
(Ch. B [Dragonfire]) Rock transmits: 'Thanks, Dawn.'.

When the armor is removed Twila inspects the sholder. Retrieving a smaller instrument she begins repairing some of the minor linages that had been strained underneath the massive weight. However, in a few days time his repair systems would be able to handle the stress...after some time in the chamber. Twila *could* do it. But it would probably take some time more than she's given. "Classic systems of stress. I won't really ask what caused it...knowing you. But can't help but he a little curious," she says as she works. "But don't go using this arm as you regularly would until it's been rechecked...just in case." Finally she sets the tools down and gets the side of the injured shoulder. "Ok...brace yourself," she instructs, gently placing the palms of her hands into position.

Rock does indeed, brace himself. His body tenses for an instant, awaiting the action of resetting his shoulder. Rock nods slowly. "I will remember, Twila. This is payback, I think... for your shoulder." Rock winces... and braces.

"I wouldn't wish that on anyone," she states, giving him a quick kiss in the cheek. Twila waits until Rock is ready and moves the joint back into place quickly and professionally. She only wishes she had more time to check into it before his meeting. But business doesn't give the luxery. Still, the least she was able to do was numb the pain a bit so...other than the actual setting of course. "How's...that?"

Rock smiles weakly at the kiss and words, then grunts heavily as the joint is shoved into place and nods, grunting again softly. He looks to Twila and nods, giving a soft systems schematic... "Yes... That will hold me." Rock smiles softly, then leans over and gives Twila a soft kiss on the cheek in return. "Thanks, luv..."

Twila Peterson gently pats his other shoulder. "As long as you see me, one of the medics, or the chamber before too long," she quips. "Is Rush alright?"

She adds, "If he needs some care I can tend to him while your meeting with the others as long as I'm here."

Rock smiles softly. "Got it, Twila... And I will." Rock then nods, raising his head and giving a whistle... and through the door comes slowly shambling... Rush himself. He looks very tired indeed as he pads over to a bed, leaping up onto it weakly. "That would be great, Twila. Thanks." Rock leans foward, offering her a loving hug with his free arm. "I am going to go iron out everything between the Striders and the Hunters."

The embrace is gently returned as Twila remains mindful of his injuries. "Kay, Rock. I trust that it will be. Take care, ok?"

Rock nods to Twila. "I will." Rock then slowly rises, reaching over and giving him a soft, reassuring pet, then he looks to Twila with a soft smile. "I definatly will... I think things are going to go well." Rock turnswhile changing into his armor... making his way for the doors, and heading out of the bay...
